I run an older keene drywasher, the bellows type and it catches the gold really well with hardley any loss into the tailing pile.! Thanks for the video jack.

I love my desert wilderness. I never would have believed that I would become a Prospector and now I am called that.
Some people think it's ridiculous until I give them a fire opal, it is then I think that it's a good laugh on them. But it is not easy, however it is the fun of it. Been at it awhile now. It has become instinct. My partner and I need to get new gear and most often don't find enough to get flashlight batteries, but then again every so often there is the exclamation
      Eurika I Have Found It!
      Making it very worthwhile.

I have been thinking of trading up to the 151s. I have had the 140s for several years now. The heat induction plus larger hopper seems like it would help recover more. Good overview and instruction on the machine. Love seeing the washes and how you select an area to run

Nice work Mr Tucker. My usual spot is quartzite. I haven't found gold at any other spot detecting. Maybe just bad luck but wickenberg seems very over worked.

Are you 10:41 hearing voices jack. I had one of those 151 dry washers ,burned up in the cedar fires here in SD county. All I got now is a Keene power sluice with a 21/2 suction hose

Set the dry washer up wind will help knock the dust you're breathing down or bring a generator and a fan. I hate mask too they get plugged up fast.

Don't forget to look for nuggets when you're raking down the grizzly. When we would run into damper material, we would flatten the box and double run that material. We would sometimes be in areas know for the occasional nugget, so we try to remember to bring the metal detector to test our tailings and others in the area raking the rocks out flat first.

Using a rockerbox, you can have the best of two words by how a rocker uses so little water, and it can be reused over and over again. Pluss dry panning first what was cleaned out of the box, leaves panning it all down as far much less work.

You needed to put your blower motor up wind from your drywasher. Your air filter won't get as dirty as quick.

I’m wondering why you don’t classify your material… Because you are working solo? I’d do it for that red clay material at least, just to loosen it and let it dry more…
Edit: Just realized that top bin IS your classifier! 🤪 🤣😎

Great video. I am still fairly new to desert Prospecting. I bought the small Royal drywasher and have found a little gold with it, but nothing like I use to find on the rivers up in the Northwest. I was hoping to about 1/4 to 1/2 a gram a day with the drywasher. I have been pre classifying my material before running it. The guys in the club have told me I need to run more material through it in a day to see those kinds of returns. The most I have run was 12 full classified buckets in a day and did not come close to the 1/2 a gram mark. So I am not running enough material in a day or I am not digging in the right areas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Red

Drywashing is not as good as running it wet. Make sure you’re running the machine the correct way. Most important.
I don’t classify as the Drywasher has a 1/2” classifier built in. You can add a 1/4” screen on top if you want to classify smaller. Save a step and don’t classify.
A rule of thumb I used to use is I liked one to two grains of gold per bucket.
1 grain is 480 buckets for an oz of gold.
If not that good look for a better spot.
      Good luck
