- Finding big amounts of chunky gold in an old culvert pipe! Gold can be found upstream and below but doesnt compare to the hoards of gold nuggets, pickers and fine gold in the culvert riffles!

,I have to say how much i appreciate a guy like this who doesn't run his mouth yap yap yapping the whole time. He says the bare minimum & it RELATES TO THE GOLD ...that's it. So thank you Mr hush hush panning man, you are a GEM!!
Shawn Young ^
A stream with a built in sluice box, how considerate!
LOL! I was thinking the same thing.
Can use them in BC but if a logging company puts one in it ok 🤷♂️😁👍😀
@@911mining Because logging companies are just ever so enviromentally enlightened and they just can't quit hugging trees........with chainsaws. Lolol
Lol

When you're panning gold, "PANNING!" at a rate higher than a typical hourly wage, you know you're doing something right. You guys never cease to impress, keep up the great work.
The only thing we find in Miami pipes are alligators.
Sell the skins and use the proceeds to buy gold.
R Adams smoked alligator ain’t bad.
@@chucknplata2261 that sounds good. I personally have only had gator jerky but i loved it.
@@coreymerrill3257 the ribs are good and fried tail catfish style
@@ericsingletary2603 i dont eat fish at all and in this area you dont eat big catfish (channel cats are the big ones , yellow bullhead and brown bullhead are the locally eaten catfish and everyone but me, loves them) because they are dirty. As in they are mercury loaded .i am also told they taste sandy and unpleasant anyway. So im not sure how you mean when you say" cat fish style". Is that seasoned and breaded and fried ? A big hunk if fish cooked in hot cast iron?
For special programming... cleaning out that pipe and running it direct to a sluice would really excite your patrons.
Can’t legally sluice in any waterways in British Columbia unfortunately.
I never would have thought of the culvert. Thanks
Looks like a good place for a highbanker. Plus being more efficient.
Looking forward to that video
I've tried culverts here in Maine and found about the same amount in the culvert as picking in the bedrock, on the same stream. Which is good in my opinion. The culvert is much easier to work! Im going to pick a culvert that really gushes during the spring melt.. Maybe that would pan out good.
Good to see you folks getting some good gold, that was a nice haul and an interesting video. Thank you!!
If I were you, I'd bring a wet/dry vac and a small generator and get right down in the bottom of those grooves in the culvert, there's bound to be a huge amount of fine gold in there. Make sure you don't leave anything behind.
richard bidinger great minds think alike , when I saw that 1st pan I was like he needs to collect all the material ,... I didn’t see your comment till after I posted my comment that happens to be the same as yours , you saw the video b4 I did ,, I’d suspect that little pipe pays out pretty good for these guys , or at least I hope so, good to see people thinking outside the pipe ,
We will be back gates where closed the day after for fire season so it's a bit of a waiting game.
That's so smart dude. Nice clean up. 👌⛏🤘 love it.🔥
Culverts are great for panning gold. The ridges pick up the gold nicely and its like a constant panning as the water flows through.
Great find. Great video super GOLD. THANKS
I did not expect that much gold. Wow
WOW! Who would have thought ..Great Video
I can't believe I missed this video.Cheers for the link and can't wait to see the new video.take a wet and dry vacuum.they are quite lightweight.
That's impressive that theres so much in there but it does make sense that the pipes ripples would catch it
Great job. Clean that culvert, make it shine. Thanks, beautiful gold.
Now that's different, great Job, greetings from the Adventures in Gold Rush Team. Keep the Videos coming.
That place is fantastic!! You guys never cease to amaze!! I think I would want a safety pan under that sq. pan. Looks like the gold could slide right out.
Absolutely incredible. I've THOUGHT to pan these but I didn't ever do it, priority number one for me now much? I can't believe I've been watching golding videos on tons of channels for almost 2 years and this is the first vid with somebody panning these things. THANK YOU. S I'm probably going Saturday if it's 41 and raining to try this now. ;)
Sweet! Bonus is, you get to work in the shade. I been getting good gold below a bridge. Today I was working it in a down pour and hail.
That is really cool guys. Thanks!
I hit that Culvert today with my suction dredge. There was more than you thought. Got 3.5 ounces of Gold 😀💙👍
Very impressive! It looks like you have someplace to spend a lot of time. That gold must be good from above, below and on the sides too. What fun! 😊 ✨🙌✨
Thought about trying this in the creek I’ve been prospecting. There is a pipe coming from a runoff feeder I’m not sure if it will have much but it looks like it might be worth a try. Great video!!
As always great video gentlemen! Fantastic idea panning that massive sluice Be Well
Awesome video... just the most amazing thing ....wow
The plunge pool at the end under the log would be loaded!!!
Incredible find!!
Nothing better than a city provided riffle tunnel loaded with water slowing pebbles to catch gold for you.
pretty amazing. I have yet to ever find gold in a culvert
Only problem now is Tony Beets cruising down that stream in his mega dredge🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good find though👍
Incredible find! I wonder if the bigger rounder pieces are at the end in the pool🤞 or above in a dead spot left or right of the culvert ? Neat pan.
Wow awesome find guys. I got ideas now, thank you..
Really enjoyed this one👍 Yes, go back & clean that culvert out!!😉
Awesome gold nice find culverts are like a sluice thank you for sharing peace out
LOVE the pan!!
Wow! good luck! Thank you!
HOLY MACKEREL! You found a good culvert that hasn't been molested! You are not even touching the drop riffles in that culvert, basically you got that gold out of the overburden! I bet you get well over an ounce! Congratulations on a SPLENDID find!
Wow eh beautiful find
I'd check every year
I'm now looking for some of them👍😁
God I am green with envy : D Watching again to poultice my gold fever! What a culvert!
O.K. That's just crazy good!
Wow! That's fantastic!👍🏻
Will you be using the highbanker on the gravels in the culvert when you decide to clean it out?
Awesome gold!
Oh man that looks awesome!
hah nice! i know of a few spots in gold country that have the same setup. i always thought it was a free public sluice and you confirmed it. thank you! btw, just started watching your vids, please show more results. peace!
i ordered a pan like that, your videos influenced my decision on my choices of pans, most of the creeks that i want to try are shallow and wide as the water flowing through that culvert, be strong, be safe, and be blessed
Oh wow!
U must do a video when u get back to clean the culvert out 🤞🏻👍
Glenda dale Jones I wish! You know they stayed and cleaned out all that material. Probably got an ounce or more
Nice, well done mateys
Great stuff👍😉
Nice pan and beautiful gold
I would definitely hoover it from end to end. Looks good.
Definately
Power Sluice that bad boy clean!
The pipe that will keep on giving for years to come. I found that horizontal motion pan technique works much better for me and keeps more gold than the traditional way on a round pan. Beautiful country to explore.
utahavalanch is this in utah area?
Rodney Rhonemus
Hi Rodney. I am in Utah but the pipe isn't. Sure wish it was.
BC, Canada
That is awesome. Good job man. 😁🤙
Great work
Awesome video and cool pan
Where did you get the sluice pan with the dam wall attachment? It's amazing!
That's a 3D printed prototype. You can check out the review on our latest video on it posted this morning. Or the site is www placertools.com
Good finds👍
Sweet site fellas
Very nice video. I would think that the pan might benefit from some horizontal scratching with course grit sandpaper which would make some micro riffles in the main section of it. This is what I do to "season" a new pan after I thoroughly wash it with dawn dish detergent to remove any oils left on it from the manufacturing process. Thanks for sharing the videos with us. Jim
Yes, I have found gold in culverts also. But also have found if there is a cloud burst after spring run offs it can blow all the gold right out! So don't wait to long after the spring runoff!
That was awesome! I'd go back with a crevice sucker and clean that whole drain up 😂
I would like to see the follow up on what you found in that culvert.
what kinda pan you using ?
When are you going to empty the tunnel / do the final video ?cant wait !
Nice shiny I would come back with a sluice box and clean the colvert out complete, Your pan looks like a paint roller pan but seems to work pretty good.
After that, throw down some moss and come back next year...
That culvert looks to be highly productive and the material is easy to extract and process, good find, I'm sure your going to check out the pools at the entrances and exits as well! I like the look of that new pan, it's about time someone decided to design and manufacture something that's not round, are they for sale yet and do you ship to the UK? I'm going to have a go in some streams I know of from fishing where there's loads of quartz veins and black sands on the little beaches, I need a pan and may as well start out with what I intend to keep on using.
Not yet this will be avaliable in a week or so when we do our full review. It's a new pan we have been testing for the past couple months the newer design has a few small changes like cleanup riffle at the back.
Where’d you get that pan ?
I'll be testing the culverts in my area, that's for sure... I'll even use my hand suction tube to clean it out properly..😊
Impressive. Good video! Maybe worth mentioning that a creak is required that actually does have gold in it. Nearby I have half a dozen of creeks with culverts. But unfortunately not a gold area at all. All just granite based. No quartz veins, nothing at all.
Cool pan set up
Thanks!
Those finds can give you the fever!
wow, nice colors. how do you like that pan? seems a bit small & some fine ripples needed on the back side for clean up.
The new pan has a couple cleanup riffles. This is a 3D printed prototype not to the market yet. The new design has some changes. We will be doing a review within a week so far we haven't used a better pan, no classifying needed is also a bonus. The back fits the same as a 10" pan to the brim but you can go though a pan in 60 seconds safely.
I wish my rivers had giant walk in sluice box's!
Lol ya
So are you panning it out or are you panning it oot?
Do you refine your gold with the acid wash?
Dang good job!
Nice wee pan, akin too the jobe le trap pan 👍
Nice i liked.. Good luck brothers
Wow! Good one. :)
Looks like that pan could use some finishing riffles in the corners, or any riffles for that matter. Is it a pan or a sluice pan or...?
The finished pan will this is the first 3D printed prototype.
Awesome find 👍 great videos, keep up the good work 👍
When can you guys get back and finish a clean out of the culvert?
(upstream & down)
After fire season probably won't be till early September we need a good full week of rain straight with no really hot days after in the forecast before they open the gates
Very cool!!!
were i have family reunions, the stream in the woods always has gold flakes floating down it, should i pan there?
Find source
Very cool what a good idea looking in a drainage ditch.
I've been meaning to do a bit of this.
Looks like a good spot to use a garden trowel
And a crack vac!
The water looks sooo good
I reckon every time it rains you could do another clean out. I like the shovel
I need to check my parks!!
Did you set up a high banker at the exit side, and load the entire culvert concentrates through it.
No gate closed the day after for fire season. We have a key but wed get a huge fine if we got caught with motorized vehicles. Wed also lose our gate access
Nice job. You might want to bring a sluice next time. Lol
Another great video lads love seeing you guys at work as you are a joy to watch and use are a wealth of knowledge I have learnt so much over the use watching your videos and learning all about different types of rocks and minerals. I don't like that pan in the video as you have to pick and flick out the bigger rock's and could louse some gold. Apart from that keep going as you guys are awesome from irish Andy.
What kind of pan is that?
Always good to find candy.....Thanks...........
💯 Holly 🐮, 😵 i was drooling on the last pan , awesome job! 😁🖖 I know what i am going to start looking for! Thanks, SEMPER Fi.
You should look for more of those pipes... they are basically a giganic sluice.
Exactly my thoughts too!
@@joanna49392 maybe he can even put some of them on claims... it just takes time and after cleaning them he could just wait for them to fill up again. Also he can put like prison bars on both sides and a opening with a lock so nobody else can clean them out.
@@tronixfix only if you get permission from dot!
Where did you get the pan your using?
It's a 3D printed prototype. Not on the market yet we are testing it for a company. We will be doing a review probably within a week. This is the first prototype so the actual pan will have additions.
Set up the highbanker at the downstream end of the culvert and just sweep it down........
