  • Finding big amounts of chunky gold in an old culvert pipe! Gold can be found upstream and below but doesnt compare to the hoards of gold nuggets, pickers and fine gold in the culvert riffles!
Hope everyone enjoys our videos on gold mining in BC, mineral exploration, geology, mineral deposits and that gold!

I've tried culverts here in Maine and found about the same amount in the culvert as picking in the bedrock, on the same stream. Which is good in my opinion. The culvert is much easier to work! Im going to pick a culvert that really gushes during the spring melt.. Maybe that would pan out good.
Good to see you folks getting some good gold, that was a nice haul and an interesting video. Thank you!!

If I were you, I'd bring a wet/dry vac and a small generator and get right down in the bottom of those grooves in the culvert, there's bound to be a huge amount of fine gold in there. Make sure you don't leave anything behind.

This is what I do to "season" a new pan after I thoroughly wash it with dawn dish detergent to remove any oils left on it from the manufacturing process. Thanks for sharing the videos with us. Jim

I like the look of that new pan, it's about time someone decided to design and manufacture something that's not round, are they for sale yet and do you ship to the UK?
