This is so funny. I got SO tired of trying to figure out something that might work that I decided to turn to RUclips to see if anyone had any luck … and then found his. With such a respected name in the drone industry, that was a no-brainer. I even tried rigging my own but hadn’t yet found a decent speaker for it (I have a general ham license). Of course that would give me more range than any of my drones could fly (M3, M3P, P4, Insp, etc) - so this seems “good enough” for my needs without breaking the bank or buying something that wouldn’t work… Nice job.
I bought one of these and am quite impressed. I would not have bought it if I did not see this video, because the description of it EXCLUDED the Mini 4 Pro. It is so big that it looks positively ridiculous on the Mini 4 Pro, but it works GREAT. AND quite clear.
I was hoping you could test this. Fly the mini 4 pro with standard batteries. (Doesn’t transmit RID). But if you click the payload switch as if you had prop guards or something. Does it start transmitting remote ID because it thinks it’s over weight ?
I bought this megaphone on Amazon last week and was ready to return it because of the cheap look and virtually useless instructions ... then I read your review. It would be very helpful to have a follow-on presentation with in depth details about using the controls.
@@Bdzynes It really wouldn't matter. Just hold the fart device in your hand and play it over the microphone. It'll transmit to the speaker. Just be aware of those around you while doing it or the joke will be on you.
Does anyone happen to know what frequencies it uses? is it possible to transmit using a higher-power transmitter (obviously for those who are licensed)? Or is it locked down to just their transmitter? Seemed like it expects commands for the recorded message #… But I’m just wondering if by chance it’ll accept a straight frequency or not as an option…cause that would be killer…
Hey Russ, sorry this is off topic but just out of curiosity, last year at around this time you did a DJI drone raffle through the YMCA, are you doing it again this year? Also I love your videos, that ending was hilarious! The speaker looks cool and all, but I think Id rather save up for an enterprise drone instead to get both the speaker and the other attachments as well.
I was planning to, but now I find out that in my state it is illegal to do any sort of raffle sales online. All raffle sales must be in person in the state of North Dakota. It’s very sad. I am trying to think of a way that it could be done that is legal. Watch for updates.

If I had a drone loudspeaker I would want to devise some sort of active noise cancellation for the drone's inherent noise. Anti-propeller noise.

Would it be any more stable on the bottom of the drone? You you would have to hand launch and catch but it might improve handling.

If you are using an add on RFID module it is getting crowded on the drone.
