A quick Google search will tell you there are only 3 occasions when a police officer can ' detain' you. All other times they need to arrest you. This was totally unlawful and if you can make a complaint at the very least.
You cannot be detained until they find out if you have committed an offence. This resulted in a payout by the Met Police a year or so ago by Iain Gould (solicitor) who fought a case like this and won compensation. And here's the big one......section 25 of PACE was repealed in 2006 and replaced by section 24. It's not a power to detain it covers powers to arrest. I sent an email to the Chief Constable Michelle Skeer regarding this incident. UPDATE...... Received reply from Chiefs batman. He has forwarded the complaint to PSD. They can't do anything because I'm not a witness. But if Reggie has complained it will be taken into consideration.

In laymen's terms: he assumes an offence has been committed without having any evidence of the offence, and without being able to actually articulate the section of law which has been broken. It's like saying, "I don't know what offence you have committed, and I don't have any evidence to imply you have committed an offence; but, I believe you have committed an offence and i'm going to find out [a] what that offence is, and [b] what evidence there is for that offence".

That sign is meaningless and the police don't have the authority to dictate what hobbies people conduct in the street. People need to go to this police station and record it constantly because that poolice sergeant said it was against the LAW.
Absolutely! Are they going to arrest every single person with a dash-cam in their car who drives past and films that police station! 🤣 There is no logic to their useless sign. I bet they stuck it up to try and deter auditor from visiting. Auditors assemble!! 😂
That sign is provocative and brings the police service into disrepute.
@Domo Premo I would but some locations are a very long way from my house so wouldn't be practicable. My comment is for those in the general area.
@@LindaWisdomphotography Yes, I must say they are asking for the “Streisand Effect” to come into play. For those not aware in a nut shell about twenty years ago Barbara Streisand didn’t want a photographer who was doing some sort of art project thing to video her posh house from the air (I think)and made a song and dance about it in court. In the end photos of the house and presumably gardens etc of it ended up on the news and hundreds and hundreds of nosey people came to visit.
I couldn't read the whole sign, but I did not see it mention anything about on the streets. The sign is there to indicate no cameras or filming beyond that point inside the walls.
One of the drone buffs needs to pay them a visit.
Get that claim in Reggie and let’s get this video posted everywhere to show this goon and his fellow female idiots for what they are. Being Audited is clearly getting under their skin so needs to be upped. He clearly showed contempt for a member of the public cos he thought you were an auditor and thinks he owns the air space in his yard.
I thought he was gonna burst in tears at one point.
omg he was on the verge of a panic attack ! Your posts are comedy gold. You really highlight how inexperienced the Police force really are.
That sign must apply if you are entering the station. It is NOT legally enforceable on the public footpath. Unless restrictive bylaws have been sneaked in.
Priceless. Keep on with the good job, Reggie.
Shocking how the other coppers stood there and said nothing about an illegal detainment.
Imagine being a grown man and walking around the streets holding an x-box controller to manufacture an interaction with the police..
Imagine naming yourself after a comedian who would probably have a good laugh at the moment your opposed to.
@@ReggiePhoto del-boys not a comedian Mr Photo he’s a character.
You stick to walking the streets as a grown adult man with a computer controller so someone gives you attention..
@@del-boy9984 is not just a character, he's a comedian that brought laughter to many. Many people enjoy my content as there is always people like yourself bright enough to reel in like a weighty carp, more so to comment in a way that you might think I may change. I'm hoping I stay like a child until the day I die. Grown ups become such snowflakes, they find anything to complain about and not to mention forget how to service their wife's. Stay young my friend and crack a smile 😃
8:45 And now the most serious mistake committed by PC 154 - section 25 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 was repealed in 2006. If he meant section 24, which being kind to him due to his emotional distress, he was really thinking of, then he would would've got away with it if he actually arrested Reggie and not just detained him. Reggie would only have to give his name and address after arrest not just by being detained. Detainment only allows PC 154 to investigate and the first thing he should've done is look at the controller and tell Reggie to bring the drone down.
If this place wasn’t 4 hours away from me then I would love to take the drone over. Everything he was saying was ridiculous. Great video again ❤️
That was quality Reggie, respect for standing your ground 👍👍
Another mysandrist mutter from the gutter, always have to say something. That sign is legal? . The ego driven power hungry enforcer should investigate with the law and not his motor mouth opinion!
As for the cowardly gaggle of little girl misandrist handcocked harpies. Hiding behind someone else so they can take the opportunity of their usual brave tactic to group cackle insults whilst walking away.
They should continue on out of the once respected service. ALL MOUTH and NO BRAINS!!!!
You are absolutely brilliant, Sir! Respect from America!
The police seem totally paranoid about cameras. This law isn't complicated. Why don't they understand it?
Let's be honest..... they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
The tide is turning, for too long the police have gotten away with things cos they lie, but the camera never lies
Because they are thick as bricks
Best vid so far. Excellent work. Bring them all in to line.
A quick Google search will tell you there are only 3 occasions when a police officer can ' detain' you. All other times they need to arrest you. This was totally unlawful and if you can make a complaint at the very least.
Absolutely loved this, "Are you a snowflake or what?" that cop didn't know what way to turn, his wee ego got burned
"crime bodge"
Brilliant just brilliant
Keep spreading the knowledge to the people 🗣️👍🏾✌🏾
They literally don’t know what they are talking about pulling out all sorts of wrong and obsolete sections.
They can detain you if they SUSPECT you have committed a crime.
It remains that right up until a conviction......or not.
@@budgetnuclearweapons7858 They can't detain you to do an investigation to find out a crime, they can only detain you to search you under any relevant legislation, Misuse of drugs, section 1of PACE, et Al. Otherwise you could be stopped and detained on a whim until the police find a crime.
See Walker v The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. (2014). EWCA. Civ 897.
"Ascertain" must be a new word he learned. Bless him.
Brilliantly handled Reggie, firm but fair and sent the automatons packing. Well done for staying calm, top man.
Reggie, detained for flying an Xbox. Genius!
🤣🤣🤣
Good video Reggie. I enjoyed watching this one. The police made themselves look very foolish. They proved that the training they received was woefully inadequate. Thanks for all you do mate.
Respect!
Respect mate 👍
What six days wasted
I just subscribed to your channel Johnny 5 0 sent me keep up the good work my friend from across the pond 😎🇺🇲
So he comes out to "ascertain" if you are carrying out a legal activity and when you object you're verbally aggressive . But his "ascertaining" means illegally detaining you.
Well I ascertained from the comfort of my armchair that officer is a complete idiot who doesn't know the law. and I didn't need a drone to do it. Plonker.
Under Modus Ponens law he is affirming the consequent, i.e., assuming the consequent implies the antecedent, rather than the antecedent implies the consequent.
@@m4rt1n0nY0utub3 My my Martin that was one absolute belter of a comment -- so in consequence thereof,[with no antecedent intent] please accept my compliments.
@@DavidBrown-nv3tw I am much obliged :)
You dealt with this like a pro reggie mate! Always rise above there schoolboy techniques 😂👍
7:50 Spot on Reggie. Well said. You are most definitely being assertive. It is PC 154 who is being aggressive in his tone and attitude.
And he definitely lost it at the end calling me an idiot
Reggie that was solid gold! “ get back to work”
"nothing better to do"
Holding police accountable is far from nothing.
And if you can get a nice lawsuit going, better still.
“Nothing better to do”
While these cops wasted their own time and let down victims of real crime by not turning up or dropping their reported case.
Haven't got time to do "better things", it's a full time job monitoring lousy cops, because there is soooooo many of you.
They hang there selfs
@@notmenotme614 not to break it mention that you know you cops borderline useless on a good day.once had a car broken into had to basically threaten to call the chief inspector for the region to make them do anything.
Officer Assertain was hilarious!
Come on now Reggie, you can’t play Xbox in public in this day and age with the current climate.
Section Xbox 360 of the police reform act: it is illegal to carry unidentified wireless Bluetooth controllers around a police station.
😂😂 👌
Bwhahahaha, Ohmaphuknsides 😂✌️
Laughing my shit off GJ nice one,,!
Great audit Reg - (mixed feelings whether it's worth you making a complaint though). And didn't we see just how quickly that idiot began to turn aggressive! What a hotheaded nob. Probably a good thing you had your camera going!
It's definitely worth making a complaint. Police shouldn't be making up laws and detaining innocent people.
It will go nowhere but it’s still on record
Damn fine work Reggie, put him right in his place fella, making up their own “laws” on filming, top man 👍👍👍
I’m with the coppers. Interactions like this are why society today is so aggressive, divided and hungry for confrontation.
Anyone who starts a conversation with Excuse Me Sir ... and ends it with Your Just an Idiot.... clearly lost their way in the exchange.
🤣🤣🤣😜
It’s pathetic that they can “detain” a citizen until they “Find out” if you’ve committed an offence.
Brilliant Reg, that PCSO has got a haircut like my grandad 🤣🤣
Laughing at that one Jacko
Oof
That plod was totally out of his depth. At one point I thought he was going to burst into tears.
A police tyrant who is very aggressive to a member of the public god knows how he treat prisoners in the police station.
Detainees, not prisoners.
Reggie, you had him right where you wanted him, what an absolute humpty.
Omfg this is quality our Reggie 👌👌👌
Bury these daft C’s in civil court.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour of these so call PUBLIC SERVANTS, paid for by the people????
Being personal and abusive CALLING NAMES, they need to be sacked.
Outstanding Audit Sir.
Keep up the outstanding work.
I’m bad with laughing at the absolute Pillock. What a joke this guy is.Is he being serious? If he is then he is Bonkers.
That was DEEPLY embarrassing. That is one of the most extraordinary examples of unprofessionalism and incompetence I've seen in many a year. You've hallucinated seeing a drone, run out into the street and collared the first guy walking by and accused him of breaking a non-existent law. A good days work, officers.
Thanks for punctuating the dark insanity of modern society stay true stay Faithfull your a light in a very very dark world Reggie
Respect Mic 👍👌🤟
Great video Reggio! Made my day cheers
Didn't he make himself look a chump 🤣🤣🤣 Reggie that was gold mate👍
Inspector Clouseau award goes to this muppet of a cop !
Any copper who cannot control their anger while on duty, can be threat to the public. Police are paid to enforce law, their standard of self control must be high.
Peace and love Reggie.
Respect mate 👊 👍
Officer's like this make me grateful the UK Police are not issued firearms like in other countries.
@@m4rt1n0nY0utub3 It’s worrying that PC154 might be issued with a biro.

You got him bang to rights on a law suit reggie.
Where a constable has reasonable grounds for suspecting that any offence which is not an arrestable offence has been committed or attempted, or is being committed or attempted, he may arrest the relevant person if it appears to him that service of a summons is impracticable or inappropriate because any of the general arrest conditions is satisfied.
(2)In this section “the relevant person” means any person whom the constable has reasonable grounds to suspect of having committed or having attempted to commit the offence or of being in the course of committing or attempting to commit it.
That was proper reeled in - who knew that standing your ground and having knowledge is ‘being aggressive’
Think a few more stations will be putting no filming signs up but they are not law well done bud
Great audit, loved the way the female officers looked at each other, they had no idea what he was doing.....nor did he🤣🤣🤣
