One of the most diversified, incredibly talented, bad ass musicians there ever was! One of the top all time guitarists there ever was! R.I.P. Jeff...your music will forever inspire others and enlighten their hearts as to what a true talent you were.
I first saw Jeff when he played two nights at a supper club call The Strand in Redondo Beach, CA. He was promoting his first album, "See the Light." I went both nights. Not only was Jeff a superb singer and musicians, but he was funny and enjoyed talking to the audience. On the second night, he had a surprise guest -- The Doors' Robbie Krieger. I saw him again at the Los Angeles Sports Arena when he opened for ZZ Top. I miss him so much. Rest in Peace, Jeff. You were one of a kind.
wow to bad cell phones were not invented back then. i bet you cant even find that footage. definitely one of the best. wish i could have seen this. thank you for sharing
First heard Jeff's tunes in a record store. Been a fan since. Rest easy my friend. You and your band blessed us with incredible music. It lives forever which means you live forever.
Can’t we just agree we’ve been treated to two indescribably fantastic talents, we’re better for having them in our lives and leave it there? These professionals routinely give props to one another and don’t GAS about comparisons. They’re the experts, we’re not, no two are exactly alike and blues has it’s roots in a couple different places. They carry torches that will burn long after we’re dead.
@@alanyancey4768 yeah and sadly get none of the recognition he deserves. one of the greatest by far. to be blind and play a guitar in your lap like this and sing too!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's so sad we lost him so early he was just a gift to the world what a blessed soul.god always takes the most pure of heart so early I guess it's because they are so pure of heart that even God misses them when they are with us.
lets talk about his playing .the bends on the lead is something out of this world .he channels it from somewhere where I don't know but I am a drummer and I am hip-mo-tized everytime I watched him play..

Tone reminiscent off the Iceman such a bite to it and such an unorthodox style to boot. His bends are so tough
