Actually he means productive but since he is based in UN......so he used un( productive)
Ways in which my unproductive days resemble Ali's:
- I don't get out of bed right when I wake up
- The use of model vaginas
Granted, in my case, there's usually not much activity in between those things.

Thank you for bursting the "productivity guru bubble" - I've been struggling with getting things done lately and it helps to see it being normalized a little. Having a "disjointed day" with short periods of productivity especially makes me anxious - so it's nice to see you have what looks like a good day, but with longer breaks :)

Hi Ali! I discovered your channel over a month ago and I can confidently say that you, Ali Abdaal, had been the greatest influence for me over the past month. I was never a fan of reviewing and such because I thought that the knowledge I learn everyday had nowhere to go other than my short term memory. Hey, I'd recommend buying a metal filter for the aero press. It reduces the need to keep stocking up on paper filters. Great video, loved the comment about having a poo. Totally necessary.

Thank you for sharing with me. I don’t have a RUclips channel yet but I have a full life with lots of responsibilities and projects. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only time freak in my family and amongst my friends bc I’m always trying to make use of my time. Watching you I don’t feel as guilty when I have some days when I’m just unproductive, and yet still manage to get some of my crucial things done. I have stayed in bed for as long as you have and it’s torture! I know I should get up and DO something but then I feel immobile and spend more time feeling guilty. lol.

Even though I'm not doing medicine, you're inspiring me as a student! I study Geology and Physics at uni btw.
A suggestion if you still want to implement the prompter before proficiency is achieved, would be to use it in voice-over portions of content, while continuing to do the onscreen portions in your preferred or more comfortable format. Over time, you will be able to integrate its use more and more, until parity is achieved. All the best to you, Ali.
Ali! Try making espresso in your aeropress, could definitely help cure your (cheeky) starbucks vanilla latte bug!
RE: new teleprompter... Try making the Font larger and
double space the lines at a minimum and adjust the scroll to your liking. The
TV broadcasters that I've seen always use a big font and a slower scroll and it
seems to work well, but I think it comes with lot of practice as well. Good

On the teleprompter thing - I've realized that reading through a text when you are used to public speaking is a whole new skill. A good way of using one's current skillset (e.g improvising around a couple of lines in the context of a live presentation) while still using a prompter to go faster - is to purchase a prompter which connects directly to a computer, and show slides instead of full blocks of readable text. I use the IKAN 12" one - connected via HDMI as a second screen www.amazon.com/Ikan-PT1200-Portable-Teleprompter-Black/dp/B018NXW8LO - this way I get the prompt of the slide to remind me of the structure and outline, and eventually any visuals I have in my presentation - and it feels like performing on stage instead of "reading a text".
I would build the presentation in Keynote as a normal presentation on stage and use it to make my life faster when recording a video.
Additionally, there is little to no eye movement - and it feels more satisfying. Having talked to a great number of journalists, prompter reading is really another skill and can take at least 20h of recording to start getting natural; while reading the slides "prompts" was much faster for me - the IKAN is a great investment and this is pro-grade material
