Thank you for the recipe for SCONES. In Kenya these are SCONES. Imagine going to your local grocery store and asking for buns 😆. Scones is what we grew up calling them.
Good job dear 👏 👍
Haha you are most welcome! Hope you enjoy the recipe 😁
It surely works guys
The milk sugar plus yeast bloomed 😊
Glad you enjoyed the recipe 😊
I would like to try this, but with butter
This is good, but its dinner rolls (bread). Very nice
This is not scones... it is bread...
It would have been better if instructions were consistent. For instance, how much flour and yeast is needed?
Very nice
I used butter but mine came out a bit hard. What did I miss🤦♀️
These are not scenes! They are buns
Those are scones we grew up loving in Africa!
Your scones are hard af 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@man_vs_pantry well they aren't called scones. Scones are supposed to be crumbly and a little hard. I grew up in Africa too, Kenya to be specific. 🙄🙄
What she made is called buns. Google scones to see the pics and stop embarrassing yourself.
Correct! The video should be called how to make bread buns with milk yeast and egg.
How do you make the yeast bloom?
Hello, once the yeast, sugar and warm water have been mixed the mixture will bloom in a few minutes.
Its look like dinner roll
That's true but in Kenya they are also known as scones 😁
In Tanzania pia we call them scones (skonzi) 😀@@pikachakula
????? They are NOT scones, that's bread buns.
Haha yes they technically are, but in different places they are also called different things :D
How to make bread Pliz!!!
@@pikachakula gvvhhvj
Never have i tired a recipe and it turned out so bad, tried 3 times with different yeast, it was simply a disaster. And the yeast didn't bloom.
That's such a shame, did you use warm water for the yeast, if it's too hot or too cold it won't activate.
That aint scones thats bread
That's also true but over here that type of bread is referred to as scones by some 😊
@@pikachakulain Kenya to be specific! We name and stick to it! Kenya for them! And we like it.. Thanks for the recipe!
My yeast didnt bloom!
If the water temperature is too hot or cold it will not bloom. It should be lukewarm,
This is not a scone though
We call them scones here :D
These are rolls @@pikachakula
They look like bread
It is bread.
Hmmm...sorry, this ain't scone! This is bread.
Where we live those specific ones are called scones, but yes also bread. Still delicious, hope you try out the recipe 😁
