TMG = The Miniatures Game. Although most people just call it X-Wing.
I like wot and tabletop games. Great combo.
so when moving you do NOT have to have the hull of the tank touching the end of the arrow? squared up is all the is required.
Is M-26 Pershing heavy or medium tank? I found image on your site that says its heavy but in box flier says its medium.
So for the advantage, do you role for advantage every round? And that's only to see who gets to move first? And after that you don't role for advantage till the next round?
Where can you buy the play mat you are playing on? It would look great with my new copy of the game 😀
It looks like one of the official games from the website. It's double sided 3x3, the other side is similar but is populated with building and more cover.
Hey, I have a problem, I dont understand how to equip our tanks, I mean the rules say just choose my mix but, based on what? What if I take something that my opponent wanted to?
Check pages 19 - 20 of the rule book to see how you can equip your tanks! We have a few videos in the works around this topic as well, so keep an eye out for them!

Ryans tank didn't move when he shot, and the rules state that a stationary shooter gets a re-roll of any misses, not just the single for medium tanks... Is this a misprint, or just forgotten in the vid?
It was forgotten in the vid. That is the normal rule.

I'm really hoping you can answer here because my son (9) and I want to get into battle but there is a little thing messing us up and that has to do with movement and initiative.
So we understand that lower initiative goes first. Libby's panzer was stunned and has -1 to initiative.
I know we're teaching basics in this video but I think this can't go unrecognized:
When it comes to initiative lowest wins, thus we count down instead of going up when we count in the positive and vice versa, count upwards in the negative when there is a disadvantage.
Thus the panzer stun that says '-1 to initiative counts against the panzer, not in favour of movement initiative, right? So in effect the panzer initiative should be 5 - (- 1) = 6 because it is a negative effect.
Likewise, if Libby had the Improved Suspension module card, it should count in favour of initiative during movement phase, not against it.
In the above scenario what it shouldn't be, but what it looks like if Improved Suspension is used:
Panzer's initiative of 5 increases by 1 (because Improved Suspension says so) to equal 6, thus the Panzer's movement is now disadvantaged because its initiative has increased during the movement phase.
What it should be is the initiative is decreased instead by one, giving it a superior value of 4 to the T34's initiative of 5 which allows the panzer to move first.
It doesn't say anywhere in the rule book to apply this method so I really need some recognition from you guys and a double thumbs up that this is the way to do it.
Moving first isn't an advantage because you can get flanked or outplayed as it gives the other player the ability to counter and shoot first
These are JUST table top games? In the world of covid not sure how many people one can get together to play. Will there be a PC version anytime? I play several turn based games now but I'm always looking for new ones

@@GaleForceNineGamesThat didn't really answer their questions. They aren't talking about wanting to play the PC original game, because that is a more action based, *real-time* game. What they are requesting is a like-for-like computer version *of the tabletop miniatures game* . For instance, you can purchase upwards of forty officially licensed adaptations of tabletop and card games as DLC for Steam's "Tabletop Simulator".
Is there a limit to how many tanks boths sides can use per game?
It's based off of points so there's technically no limit. However it's meant to be played on a 3x3ft area so if you use too many it could get cluttered.
Just asking, when will you be adding wave 5 for World of Tanks Miniatures Game!?

Also why has the T-34 just got plain better stats than the Pz IV H?
I agree. I don't think they balanced them properly against each other. I don't see any reason why the T-34 would have higher initiative. Also the up armored side plating of the H model should have a higher survivability rating. So when I play, make their initiatives equal and give the Panzer IV H's survivability 2. The T-34 was a faster tank so that is where it holds it's advantage. I adjust the cost to make them both cost 40.

hmmm I was exited for this game to be honest but after seeing the how to play the rules are far to basic to draw any real interest
The complexity comes when you start to equip the tanks, this video was just to cover the basics, if you have a look at the battle report, you'll see the cards, and multiple tanks make the game more exciting.
Well, way too simple for tank combat game... Too simple movement, no use of turret traversion and weird dices... Nope :-D
true, true. but for ppl that play WoT, it's simple to learn and play for younger people or children that like tanks.
@@rattlesnake551 children maybe, but for people who play WoT or WT not... you have to feel like to be in tank in "tank game"...
@@michaljanecek82 I agree, maybe they could add more stuff like gun elevation, turret traverse, module damage etc.
@@rattlesnake551 exactly - I have modified Stargrunt II rules for tank only battles - add turret traverse and crew reactions and it works fine but I want "no house ruled" pure tank game with the feel to be"in the coffin" :-D
@@rattlesnake551 I believe they do have some of these in the game, it looks like this video only covers the most basic elements of the game.

The tanks are the same as Flames of War, but the game itself is quicker, simpler, and obviously only features tanks :).
Are you kidding me? Those are painted miniatures?? Must be something wrong with my monitor. I will not buy something that has such clearly poor quality pieces especially when they are being touted as painted. I would have been pissed if I bought this and opened it up to that. So I wont. Thank you for your video , it was of great help.
The tanks are hand-painted with a base coat in their national colour. This widens the accessibility of the game from hobbyists to board gamers who want to be able to play the game straight out of the box, whilst also allowing hobbyists to personalise their game pieces with decals, and custom paint jobs.
Shooting, Too complicated... Axis and Allies miniatures 1 shot 1 role of dice. Movement speed 3 move 3 hexes. Just play.
