    Steve,
The competency of VRMA management is troubling. I remember how valuable VRMA conferences and education were to the growth and success of our company. I also remember “Save VRMA” and the effort that went into building a professional trade organization.
As I recall when you and I were on the board, financial statements were reviewed monthly. The Board also had foresight and approved a minimum Reserve fund for emergencies. Being on the Board was not a junket. We paid for our conference registration, lodging and travel.
Last year when making a decision on a new PMS I spoke with the plethora of companies at the conference in Orlando. Few understood Trust Accounting that is required in regulated states and I don’t recall any that knew about the new Federal E-filing requirement.
I have been underwhelmed by the current management company, conference planning, education, communication, and reorganization of the VRMA Board and Executive Committee.
