My husband has been asking me to make a cheesecake with Miyoko's, this sounds like a winner!
Yes!! You have to it’s really so good!!
I am SO EXCITED to try this! I've tried SO many raw vegan cheesecakes and they are just not it. Like, they can be tasty, but it's just not the same as a baked cheesecake. This looks wonderful.
I know! They aren’t quite the same. I can’t wait for you to try this one out it is so good!!
I love pears, and you are right that they are ignored. Phooey! This is a delicious use of pears, so thanks for posting!
Thank you so much! I know need to start using them more!!!
Beautiful musical interlude, by the way ❤
Thank you 💕💕
Looks good😊When I break cookies for something, I put them in a small plastic bag and smash them with something. It is also a good way.
Thank you Tanja! Yes definitely another way to do it!
This looks amazing!!! Thanks for posting
of course it is my pleasure!!
Thank you so much for figuring out an amazing vegan cheezecake recipe! I always trust your recipes!
aw of course it always my pleasure! thank you so much that means a lot to me!
Perfect! Not such a demanding recipe and ingredients I often have in the house! Thank you!! Def making for the holidays!
yay! so glad you are going to give it a try can't wait to hear what you think of it!!
looks so pretty!! 🍐
Thank you so much!!
You are awesome! 🤩Thx!
Always my pleasure to share vegan food!!
Looks really wonderful definitely making it for Thanksgiving .

You must let me know how it goes! Thank you!!
Hey Francesca this cheesecake looks great and you sing very nice💕TFS❤😊
Thank you so much!! 💕💕💕
Another fantastic 😋 recipe Francesca it’s great that it was pears you used because they aren't used much in recipes much. Love 🥰 the video and love 💞 Francesca.
Thank you so much David! Yes they need to be used more they are so good!!
Happy birthday!!! That is an amazing cheesecake!! Any good subs for the cookies that are vegan but gluten free?
Thank you so much!!! Simple mills has a gf vegan peanut butter sandwich cookie that would be yummy!
Looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it! We don’t get vegan cream cheese here, what would be an okay substitute to beat in with the silken tofu?
Thank you! Honestly no you need the vegan cream cheese. I’m sorry but even just from seeing how much the brand of vegan cream cheese made a difference I wouldn’t feel comfortable to tell you to use all silken tofu and then have it not come out right. Cheesecake is a cream cheese based dessert.
I’m gonna pretend the singing was for me😂😂😂BEAUTIFUL ! Another fabulous recipe, thanks😛
You finally got a few notes out of me! Next will be the opera 💕💕🩵🩵
@@PlantifullyBased 🎉🎉🎉 can’t wait!
You do NOT need a springform pan. Just crush the cookies in a bag or food processor. Add the water bath, it prevents cracking
I guess you didn’t watch or listen to anything i said in the video. I addressed the food processor, water bath, and cracking. And you do need a spring form pan for making it come out easier.
I am from The Netherlands. Would love to see a similair cheese cake that I can make. We don't have the mentioned products here.
I am sorry! I really don’t know what to replace it with - there are recipes online for vegan cheesecakes that are made with blended up cashews which may be better in this case! But as for substitute even just changing the cheesecake brands made such a big difference i wouldn’t mess around with this recipe :(
Can you use a substitute for the tofu? I have a soy allergy 😢
I’m sorry I don’t have a substitute!
@@PlantifullyBased do you have any suggestions of something that could work? This is an awesome recipe
@@BOPHY i don't im sorry! as you can see from the video even just changing the vegan cream cheese brand made a big difference in texture. i would hate to suggest something and then have it not come out right. there are raw cheesecakes that are cashew based so that could be a good route to try!
@@PlantifullyBased That’s okay, I understand! Thank you!! :-) I’ll definitely check out the cashew based ones, that sounds really interesting 😊
@@BOPHYmaybe you could try pumfu! It's a similar texture to tofu, but made out of pumpkin seeds.
8:10 MAAM, YOU BETTER KEEP “BORING” US! Come thru with the notes!! 😂 time for a third channel!
Ok let me chill lol
This might be my Friendsgiving recipe. This is a showstopper!
Also the apron is gourd-eous!!
Hahah I almost edited out because I was like this feels cheesy but I’m glad I kept it in! Yesssss this is such a good one for Friendsgiving!!! Haha thank you 🎃
Well cheesy is appropriate for this cheesecake vid anyway!
…ok that was a stretch lol but we’re glad you left it in. Having fun and being silly in the kitchen is all of us (though most of us don’t sound great doing it 😂)
Anyway I’ll report back if I make this for my knucklehead omnivore friends. They’re open and love veg foods anyway so I’m sure they’ll love it!
Looks good but those cookies have milk and eggs which is not vegan :(
No they don’t :) here’s the ingredient list: Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Unbleached Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Wheat Starch, Invert Cane Sugar Syrup, Salt, Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate), Natural Flavor, Soy Lecithin (Emulsifier).
Read below that in bold letters: Contains Wheat and Soy, may contain tree nuts (coconuts), Milk and Eggs
@@fuzzypeters That is an allergy warning to indicate they they _may_ be manufactured on equipment that is used to make things containing nuts, milk, or eggs.
@@fuzzypeters they put that as an allergen statement bc it is made in facilities and they don’t want to be legally liable in the event if it is eaten by someone with that allergy. Same thing they do for nuts, soy, fish, meat etc.
thanks so much and I never knew that. Keep up the great work! I really love your recipes:)
