Made this today for my husband because lemon is his favorite. Family said it is the best cheesecake they have ever had. I made the curd from your recipe and my husband was trying to fit his head inside the bowl to lick it clean. Very good! Directions were great and easy to follow. Thank you.
When I make my cheesecake I use a large chafing dish filled halfway with hot water on bottom rack, prevents it from cracking. I have always used the raspberry ribbon recipe from taste of home and everyone requests it, raspberries are in season now. This recipe looks delicious , can’t wait to try!
same, I don't do the water bath but just a tray or pan with hot water on the bottom of my oven and my cheesecake comes out perfectly creamy- of course you have to make check on it from time to time until just the center is wobbly and its done

I made a tiramisu cheesecake once. Made the crust with half lady finger and half Oreo cookie with a bit of espresso powder and then the cheesecake mix with half mascarpone cheese and half cream cheese with some espresso. I also put espresso soaked lady fingers at the 1/3 and 2/3 mark and topped with cocoa powder to further resemble a tiramisu. It was one of my favorite cheesecakes 😋

I also appreciate that you provide info about doing steps with a food processor or manually so very helpful. Honestly, in cooking shows you often never see the baker scrape the bowl down (but it's so necessary) thank you for showing that. Made this yesterday as a Father’s Day treat for my husband and we just had some today. It was AMAZING. I’ve only made 4 cheesecakes in my life and they were all massive fails except this one! Looks so yummy. I used to have a recipe for white chocolate cranberry cheesecake which I would make every Christmas. Unfortunately I lost it somehow. It was so delicious. The cheesecake was white chocolate and the top was similar to your lemon curd. You’d cook the cranberries in a saucepan with liquid and sugar and cook just until the fresh cranberries were about to pop. Then you’d place the cranberries all around the edge of the cheesecake and poor the cranberry syrup that was left over into the centre and spread it outward towards the cranberries. It looked beautiful with the white and then the cranberry colour on top. Unlike your cheesecake it had sour cream as well as cream cheese and three eggs in it. I can’t remember how much grated white chocolate it had in it though. It was really delicious and would disappear so fast it wasn’t funny.
My son and I are a big fan of lemon. I would make lemon cheesecake for his birthday and he would make lemon pasta for mine. It isn’t his birthday, but I am going to make this just because he is an awesome young man and I am excited to try this. Thank you for sharing this recipe. ❤
I made an apple cheesecake once by replacing all the sugar with "sugar" I made from dried apples. It was fantastic! I decorated it with additional dried apples.

When I was young, my mother would put a lemon to two pounds of sugar in a container to make lemon sugar and an orange to two pounds of sugar in another container as well. She usually used Mason jars for this. The sugar was mostly used for Christmas baking.
I do one lemon in my cheesecake with only two packs of cream cheese. I do a praline graham cracker crust. Top with cherries and whipped cream and freeze it. Partially thawed is delicious. Love your recipes. Especially blending the lemon with the sugar. Definitely going to try this recipe next cheesecake! ❤

This cheesecake was delicious and creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness. I made 1.5X the crust recipe since I was making this into muffin tins to bring for a potluck, but I kept the recipe for the filling the same. For the crust I added a few tablespoons of extra butter to help ensure that the crust held together pretty well since my mixture looked a little dry after mixing. The recipe ended up making 24 muffin tins and one 8x8 inch square tin of cheesecake. I still had a little bit extra lemon curd from his lemon curd recipe that I was able to save for other things. Everything was so yummy and everyone loved the dessert. I would 100% make this again.

I put sour cream along with the lemon sugar and cream cheese into my lemon cheesecake and a few tbsps of the lemon curd into the cream cheese filling as well. I find it has a brighter, more lemony flavor throughout the cake and I sometimes use those Oreo brand lemon cookies instead of graham crackers - it's a nice touch. I also find that I like beating the lemon sugar, cream cheese, and sour cream for a little longer, like 5-8 minutes makes the cheesecake much more light and creamy.
@@maryjanehayes114 Yes, of course. I normally use about 0.5 to 1 of lemon curd to sour cream. And, yes, the lemon sugar and cream cheese is the same. I've also tried the cheesecake with oranges as well and it turned out great, too!
@@maryjanehayes114 I use cups, but that doesn't matter, you can use either or. It still works. Whatever amount you use for the sour cream, measure half of it for the lemon curd if you want to put it in the cheesecake filling.

I put sour cream along with the lemon sugar and cream cheese into my lemon cheesecake and a few tbsps of the lemon curd into the cream cheese filling as well. I find it has a brighter, more lemony flavor throughout the cake and I sometimes use those Oreo brand lemon cookies instead of graham crackers - it's a nice touch. I also find that I like beating the lemon sugar, cream cheese, and sour cream for a little longer, like 5-8 minutes makes the cheesecake much more light and creamy.
@vivianli4460 would you mind telling me what is the ratio of the sour cream then? The lemon sugar and cream cheese still the same as above recipe?
@@maryjanehayes114 Yes, of course. I normally use about 0.5 to 1 of lemon curd to sour cream. And, yes, the lemon sugar and cream cheese is the same. I've also tried the cheesecake with oranges as well and it turned out great, too!

@@maryjanehayes114 I use cups, but that doesn't matter, you can use either or. It still works. Whatever amount you use for the sour cream, measure half of it for the lemon curd if you want to put it in the cheesecake filling.
