I hope you guys have a lot of stock on February 1st
Am so glad that a 4k 60 external capture now exist from Elgato I was waiting on it and can finally record content anywhere without latency plus still use 4k utility software with other software like OBS
If this 8K capture device then what would we use it with? Because current gen consoles struggle with native 4K30, if you capturing PC then you’d need a separate computer in order to do it or one powerful computer to capture within the same PC and play 8K at the same time. 8K capture is pointless at this point, the hardware isn’t ready for it but I do like the idea of it being available. You should look into upscaling capture devices, something like the RetroTink 4K.
They're 4K Full HDR capture basically Refreshes of already existing Capture cards
4K60 Pro still worth, at least 2 or 3 more years.
@@TeezoTarantino why refresh something that isn’t broke? lol
@@TheRustyRebel Same Reason Sony & Microsoft do Mid Gen Refreshes. Same reason Apple Sales the same over and over again with no improvements to hardware or software
@@TeezoTarantino Those things tend to make sense as they make them smaller or improve thermals or designs but when nothing is wrong design, thermal or hardware etc, then it just seems more like a way to fool consumers into paying more for the same item but with a different model number.
Still no displayport capture cards
Attaining only to a dual PC setup market...
So, 4K 120FPS, HDR10 & Dolby Vision, with VRR support (REAL HDMi 2.1, not HDM Lie 2.1 ish) Also low Passthrough delay? Sceptical due to the over 3 year wait and the fact that if its ANYTHING more than £225 its instantly Dead On Arrival.
Standards are high, it seems
@@tmanxult003 As they SHOLDD be after wating 3 Years. It was known he console would be doing 4K 120FPS LONG before hey launched, 2.1 capturecards should have been out AT LAUNCH, or maybe a month or 2 after at latest.
@@Lunacy_Phoenix I was referring more towards the pricing (even so, 4K Pro's apparently cheaper than the old internal 4K one at launch; I forgot the model name as of typing)
I'm surprised I have to point out to u that not only is HDMI 2.1 [devices] just over 3 years old but it also released during a time where resources were scarce for companies & prices - at least in the PC market - were inflated tremendously. Point being capture card companies needed time, resources & availability to research the connection type on consoles & PCs & how to implement it with capture cards perfectly, with time resources & availability slowly beginning to increase as we progressed through the early 2020s
Then again, there's several others in comments and even creators with similar standards, so what do I know? 🤷♂
@@Lunacy_Phoenix so... standards met?
I need somttbing to capture my 3440x1440 144Hz gameplay, hopefully these new cards can do that.
Hitting those home runs again. Love my Elgato gear, it is so good I don’t even need to think about it. I can just focus on creating. ❤
Thank you for all of your support. 💙
Get Microsoft to implement HDR for display cloning so we can actually use this to its full potential with dual PC setups, please.
Update Game Capture HD for dumbasses like me!
Now we're talking 😎😁🔥🔥🔥
I wanted a capture card to record videos with my friends and bought the HD60X and the chat link pro, not realizing I wouldn’t be able to record my mic and the party audio on Xbox. Is there a way Where I’m able to record party audio and my audio?
You will need two mics. One for Xbox (party chat) and one for your computer to record your voice.
Hopefully this is capture and not just passthrough like the Aver Media one is
How can we pre-order it?

I'm so hyped for this card. I had an Elgato Capture-Card in the past. She died, because of my personal fault. My Capture-Card at the moment can only handle 1440p144hz and I need 1440p180hz or next time 1440p240hz
Now let's hope I can afford it xD
Coming….. 2026!
