@@DCXGaming Well overwatch copied Team Fortress, it's not like game companies dont copy stuff, as long as it's new, creative and unique rather than a copy and paste and thats what we call inspiration.

Yes, a lot of ideas were inspired by Overwatch just modified a bit (for ex. Yoru and Sombra). Valorant even copy the voice actors lol (Sombra and Raze are the same voice actors)
@@OfficialKman5625a lot of heroes got reworked since launch, so i feel like overwatch is rather copying them just to make it feel like valorant it copying them
To be fair overwatch copied league’s yasuo and yone to create genji and hanzo. Its all a little mixed up
@@moderater2.048 Theirs alot ow has copied to league not just that. Anivias ice wall, glacial storm and passive were copied by mei. Ziggs every ability(others modified abit) copied by junkrat and they even have the same goofy grinny face. Two spiraling Hanzo ult was gotten from Varus another archer and the scan was from another archer Ashe and there were only 2 archers in league at that time. Also Caitlyn was the only sniper back then and guess what OW made Widowmaker also a sniper which has a very similar look with Headhunter Caitlyn skin.
They all copied TF2. Argument over.
I love how back then people complained that overwatch copied tf2 and ppl don't say much about Valorant doing the same thing lol

Imaging seeing single abilitiy comparisons and saying that Valorant was inspiried by Overwatch. Sure they have similar archetypes in both games: like Hanzo and Sova. Both "archers" I guess, but in Overwatch Hanzo's main purpose is to do massive damage and snipe single targets, while Sova's abilities are mostly supportive. Sova's main feature is his scanner, Hanzo's scanner is just a bonus for his overall kit
Valorant is cool but overwatch is way more cooler 🌝

U missed reyna's dismiss is similar to moira's fade as well. Both make them invulnerable and used to get out of sticky situation
Harbor reminds me a lot of Symmetra actually but the positions to take are as similar as Astra

Valorant is in 2014 release without good animation but all robot with same abilities

How can people say Overwatch is a copy of Valorant and Overwatch is older than it
For Kiriko, Jett fans are confused because they say that Kiriko is a copy, since Valorant was released in 2020, it may be true, but they do not understand that Kiriko belongs to Overwatch 2 of 2022 and is a new character that was not in the first overwatch of 2016.
In any case, Valorant has the majority of characters copied from Overwatch 2016.

Kiriko was released in 2022 after Jett 2020, maybe that's why people think that Overwatch copied Valorant when it's the other way around, I play both titles and I have to admit that Valorant is boring compared to Overwatch.
The thing is valorant characters have more abilities and overwatch abilities r low and kinda dry.

Valorant looks just so boring.... No interesting heroes, no dynamic, no action... Just like a low budget "Heroes" mod for counterstrike...
Because it has different playstyle. Valo's playstyle similar with csgo but more tactical. Overwatch's playstyle is face-pacing hero shooter like paladins and tf2. I like both games. I wanna try OW but my lap doesn't support, so I playing paladins before I moved to val. OW for me is really futuristic design with cool chaos gameplay in it. It's fun to see people playing OW in youtube

Valorant is so sh*tty,for example : whats the point of having a gun when the whole theme of the character is an archer ,this is dumb .im sure CS GO/PUBG ..etc fans will appreciate it though
Because the theme of the character is not him being an archer, but being a high tech hunter. Sova is from Severomorsk, the main base of Russian Northern Fleet, high tech military town beyond the arctic circle. He is a hunter, who uses all possible means to hunt down a prey (be it an animal or a human), including recon drone (was not shown in this video) and recon darts, is very proud of his accurate shooting and in combat mostly uses a sniper rifle. This dude is closer to Earth analogue of Predator, than to Hanzo.
Because valorant is gunplay focused. Abilities don't kill, they only give tactical advantages
