@@PlanetXerox CS2 isn't a graphical upgrade though. It's a completely new game made on a new engine, with some shared resources but a ton of them being remade or upgraded. They're incompatible. You can still play CSGO on community servers and offline if you want.

The reason why Valorant doesn't offer most of the CS2 features is that RIOT wants it to run on a basic pc it's the same principle they have on League of legends they want it to be easily accessible to everyone.

Switched to cs from valorant, because game just stopped working on my system (riot games just can't make properly working client, which will work just fine on every compatible system). Still playing cs, switched to cs2 and not going back to valorant.

CS 2 It is made to look as realistic as possible, Valorant is more cartoony because they focus more on the gameplay. If Valorant were realistic it would ruin the entire experience due to the IMMENSE amount of abilities that can appear on the screen. How would you make a possessed green dog look realistic? yeah, the thing is valorant matches are really chaotic. Just look at pro play, the entire screen is filled with abilities and smokes and gunfire as it is, there isnt really a point to have fine details since no one is ever going to see them

Hm, I'm not an expert but I'd say cs is more competetive as you don't have these abilities, agents that force to play a certain role and gamebreaking ultimates. Cs has a lower "randomness-factor", aswell as it's winning the price for the best competetive game for years in a row 😂. Also because of stuff like spray patterns (which only exist in cs, in valo its random) spraying has a higher role. If you start to get in higher elos or also pro level valorant, i feel like its just "whoever places his crosshair on the enemies head faster wins", which you could see as competetive, but in my opinion that a bit boring

I feel it’s kinda unfair comparing the two. Both graphically and fundamentally. Sure Valorant, as far as the basic fundamentals go is definitely inspired by CS, but it all comes down to if you like the abilities more or not and whether you were with CS in its early days plays a huge role in it as well. I started with val, I figured that given cs:go age at the time, I thought it’d be filled with sweats and the game and randoms wouldn’t be too new player friendly. But, I do plan to play CS2 at some point as well once I gauge the state the game is in at some point or another.

Compare these games at a graphic level, it's like buying Fortnite with Pubg and saying that in Pubg the trees don't break, Valorant is a plasticine game and CSGO 2 looks like a Call of Duty in 2017, graphically they leave something to be desired but it is intentional
CS2 is more of realism and aesthetics + detailing while Valorant is just very optimized by Riot to support any end device (low-end to high-end). Most of Valorant's maps are 2d planes or hollow 3d models - this is done to optimize the game. We all know what UE 4 or UE 5 is capable of.

And on low settings I get around 30-50 fps... which is not great but atleast playable.. gonna upgrade my ram to 8 gigs soon.. maybe then I will get 40+ fps constant

Both are excellent games and run pretty well on potato computers. The real difference is in spell usage. If you like it go Valorant, if you don't and want to focus more on aim go CS2 Graphics are not important on competitive games
Kinda unfair for Valorant becaue it has older grapics and cartoony style. So they have no chance in Graphics quality. Also Valorant can run on worse PCs than CS2 can (CSGO was smoother than valorant on bad PCs but CS2 not) so it could be concidered a W that Vaalorant doesnt have as good quality. Also some things are different because of Valorant story. Spike explodes so weird because it doesnt destroy but rather sucks the radianite (basically energy) from the environment. Also you can destroy Glass in Ascent at tree and destroy objects on Bind. Also there are no Grenades in val so flashbangs and smokegrendaes are not comparable. And Razes grenade looks like this because it kinda is her signature to be colorful. Shadows are debatable because you cant use some corners to hide. I feel like in CS its ok because its a realistic game but in Valorant its not necesarry. Also you dont need to be able to swim in Fps games in my opinion too.

So i have a good amount of experience in both games. CS has better gunplay and tactical aspects and better utilization of equipment, they all have realistic impacts in the game. While in valorant riot is always changing and tinkering the utilities and ruining the fun of their use , always forcing players to do something they are not comfortable with also the gun recoil is not only broken it is simply pathetic. Let it be real. Despite CS2 doesn't stand against big AAA games, they still manage to over delivery. Val, using Unreal Engine 4-5, came out 3 years ago with mobile graphic . Yeah, you can argue because Riot leans toward tomato PC and cartoonish but look at Overwatch, or Genshin Impact, or even Demo game of Unreal Engine. I believe that Riot just want to have low development cost, bump skins more frequently, more appeal to youngling.

Hm, I'm not an expert but I'd say cs is more competetive as you don't have these abilities, agents that force to play a certain role and gamebreaking ultimates. Cs has a lower "randomness-factor", aswell as it's winning the price for the best competetive game for years in a row 😂. Also because of stuff like spray patterns (which only exist in cs, in valo its random) spraying has a higher role. If you start to get in higher elos or also pro level valorant, i feel like its just "whoever places his crosshair on the enemies head faster wins", which you could see as competetive, but in my opinion that a bit boring

I feel it’s kinda unfair comparing the two. Both graphically and fundamentally. Sure Valorant, as far as the basic fundamentals go is definitely inspired by CS, but it all comes down to if you like the abilities more or not and whether you were with CS in its early days plays a huge role in it as well.
I started with val, I figured that given cs:go age at the time, I thought it’d be filled with sweats and the game and randoms wouldn’t be too new player friendly. But, I do plan to play CS2 at some point as well once I gauge the state the game is in at some point or another.

CS2 is more of realism and aesthetics + detailing while Valorant is just very optimized by Riot to support any end device (low-end to high-end). Most of Valorant's maps are 2d planes or hollow 3d models - this is done to optimize the game. We all know what UE 4 or UE 5 is capable of.

And on low settings I get around 30-50 fps... which is not great but atleast playable.. gonna upgrade my ram to 8 gigs soon.. maybe then I will get 40+ fps constant

Kinda unfair for Valorant becaue it has older grapics and cartoony style. So they have no chance in Graphics quality. Also Valorant can run on worse PCs than CS2 can (CSGO was smoother than valorant on bad PCs but CS2 not) so it could be concidered a W that Vaalorant doesnt have as good quality. Also some things are different because of Valorant story. Spike explodes so weird because it doesnt destroy but rather sucks the radianite (basically energy) from the environment. Also you can destroy Glass in Ascent at tree and destroy objects on Bind. Also there are no Grenades in val so flashbangs and smokegrendaes are not comparable. And Razes grenade looks like this because it kinda is her signature to be colorful. Shadows are debatable because you cant use some corners to hide. I feel like in CS its ok because its a realistic game but in Valorant its not necesarry. Also you dont need to be able to swim in Fps games in my opinion too.
You can't swim in CS2. There is no area for you to be able to do that in a real game; he just went under one of the maps to do that.

The tactical aspects of both games are the same. CS2 is just LOOK more tactical because their concept is S.W.A.T and terrorist kind of things, while Valorant concept is fantasy and super-human.

CS has better gunplay and tactical aspects and better utilization of equipment, they all have realistic impacts in the game. While in valorant riot is always changing and tinkering the utilities and ruining the fun of their use , always forcing players to do something they are not comfortable with also the gun recoil is not only broken it is simply pathetic.

Let it be real. Despite CS2 doesn't stand against big AAA games, they still manage to over delivery. Val, using Unreal Engine 4-5, came out 3 years ago with mobile graphic . Yeah, you can argue because Riot leans toward tomato PC and cartoonish but look at Overwatch, or Genshin Impact, or even Demo game of Unreal Engine. I believe that Riot just want to have low development cost, bump skins more frequently, more appeal to youngling.
