I just looked it up and apparently "Toasters & Chainsaws" is not a real game, never more than a marquee. Apparently it was made by Keith Egging, Director of Creativity at Taito, to give employees there some inspiration as well as mess with competitors who may be watching this documentary.
Which is a shame, but perhaps if the copyright isn't an issue some indie developer out there could create it for real on Steam or something

CS has this incredible, unhinged ability to leave you with no idea where he's going with something. That was absolutely delightful.
This one was very "random edits"-like. Some good jokes, but not quite as good as WWIIIINDOOOOOWWSSS or other ones he has made recently.

I was too young to experience 80's arcade games, but there's something very appealing about them. Simplicity and pure gameplay with enjoyable beeps and boops and pixel art.
Nothing like stepping out of a hot summer day into the air conditioned comfort of the arcade, lights and sounds blasting at you from every corner of this dark yet neon lit world. I loved them as a kid in the mid 1990s and I still do today.
