    Don't underestimate how lucky you are that the S/C O.C.P worked, and you still have a playhouse.

    At least, you know it contains probably good battery that could be used somewhere else. I completely understand you don't want to take this apart again, but what I would recommend at this point is disconnecting that connector that looks like being shorted, then recconecting that tiny white connector, which goes in my opinion to the control buttons, trying to turn it on again. If this is succesfull and you get at least some voltage on that connetor, then the problem is somewhere behind that connector (and main board), so there is possibility to recover that unit by removing what shorted it out, which is, in fact, nothing terribly complicated. Just use external power supply with current limiting to power that part of the device and search for the component that becomes hot.

      I was stupid, and assembled it before testing it,, and I was hours in at that point :-/

    Nice follow up.
    Maybe the humidity/ water wasn’t touching anything while sitting in the bunker. We did see thick water droplets on the bunker ceiling - so water was everywhere- you had no chance moving it without harm if there where drops inside.
    Maybe reusing the batteries as a DIY power bank is a good project for us viewers. Since it will not be the only power station out there where the electronics died.
    Looking forward to the next video.
    Ps: maybe the cover on the bunker is not rain tight enough for danish weather. I remember danish raincoat be strong as a Viking sometimes

    What a shame, but you have a battery pack that may be recoverable and use for evil experements lol.
    I don't think dampness would get into the cells.

  • @UnkyjoesPlayhouse

    Problem is, this is a HFrequency inverter, they are built with low spec components as cheaply as possible, these unit's will typically last 3-5 years, the design itself is flawed, and should contain a large torrodial transformer instead of those un-reliable mosfets and poor quality capacitors.

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  3 месяца назад +1

      I would expect it to die while in use,, if that was it :-/

      @@MyPlayHouse Normally I would agree with you, however I think your lucky it lasted as long as it did, see if you cant take it to a local electronics repair, they should be able to troubleshoot it.

    When ever you disconnect power from most BMS's you almost always have to connect a charger to wake/re-enable the BMS. I think that is all that was wrong with it once you had charged the battery, however, now it is shorted somewhere. 🙄

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  3 месяца назад

      I had solar panels connected to it outside before I started this,, and the input seamed shorted.
