Am I the only one that thinks Gran Turismo 5 was the best game in the franchise because it was absolutely beautiful? The way the cars, music, and showrooms presented the cars was perfect. It was amazing, and no other games display cars in the way that Gran Turismo does.
for me it is hard to chose between gt4 and gt6 i played both games untill i got the best cars, they hold a very very special place in my heart, so instead of chosing i am happy i was able to enjoy both games to the full
I speculate that it was the "car life" theory proposed by Yamauchi Kazunori that completely evolved the Gran Turismo 5 into a high-end design, and this design and spirit are still used today. ;)

Back when Gran Turismo had an entire original soundtrack made specifically for the game. For GT Sport, they just licensed a bunch of 15-20 year old techno tracks through Sony, put it in the menu, and called it a day. What a downgrade :/
Ikr? There's still some good ones in Sport, but nothing beats GT5's soundtrack even to this day... I hope GT7 will have the same or at least a similar soundtrack in it. :/

I'm planning on buying gt5 and wonder what if you find a car in the used dealership and can't afford it, so you do some races and then it dissapear from the list, do you have to do races until it gets back?
I kinda hated them taking away the odd car that wasn’t for sale in the dealership. Seeing a non buyable car made me want to play through the game all the way until I acquired all of those

JP01 Yeah the user interface does not look bad at all on the GT7 trailer. GT Sport did not evoke the true “Gran Turismo” feel.
