      It's my pleasure 😊 And, you know I used to always take pictures in the full mode, but realized that it looks really bad after printing because of the crop, this is exactly why I made this video, I hope it will help everyone improve their photography skills.
      So makes me really happy to hear the video was helpful. 😊

    Could you make a tutorial how to use expert raw and pro mode and how to get amazing low light video on s23 ultra ? I was trying and couldn't figure it out

    I'm beta testing and now resolution and aspect ratio are 2 separate things. You can take a 200mp 16:9 picture or a 50mp 1:1 picture. Whatever combination you want. Although I wish there was more aspect ratios like 21:9 and 32:9

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  9 месяцев назад

      Very interesting, I've always wondered why the option to take pictures at higher resolution isnt there with 16:9.

      200MP on a 16:9 ratio?? Let's go.

    Generally I just use 4:3 and then crop to the different ratios later. That's all the s23 ultra is doing when you change the aspect ratio anyway, it's cropping away information. When the camera does this you loose flexibility to easily choose other aspects.

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  9 месяцев назад +2

      Spot on! I've learnt this the hard way lol, now i've been sticking to 4:3 for photos as it gives the best flexibility, not to mention you get the full sensor readout and not a crop.

    Why is 4:3 aspect ratio default when displays stopped being that more than 20 years ago? Very few use cases call for a4 printouts. And even if youre using "the full sensor" the photo will still lose details when being cropped for 16:9 viewing on the tv anyway, so is there still a benefit to the "full sensor" use or its just making more work for the user for nothing just cause they still need to crop every photo they want to set as wallpaper for their pc/tv?

    I have the galaxy s23 plus and there is no 16x9 aspect ratio on my phone. there is a 9x16 but not a 16.9. what resolutions should i use for verticle and horizontal on my phone for the best results

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  9 месяцев назад +3

      Hey, its the same thing.. 9:16 is when you hold the phone vertically, and 16:9 when you hold it horizontally... The numbers switch automatically as you change the oreantation of the phone, give it a try. 😉

    so 9/10 times 4:3 photo, 16:9 video ?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  7 месяцев назад

      Pretty much! unless you are taking a photo specifically to upload to Instagram stories and to look at them on a TV, then 16:9 is the way to go for photos, or else 4:3 is the best and will give you the most flexibility.

    resolution...🤔

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 месяца назад

      Always 12mp, anything above 12mp on these phones reduces the quality of photos.
