Amazing job you guys. Thanks for showing how to do the caning. I have a couple of old frames that are in good shape that just need the caning. So you showed me how to restore them to glory. I would have used Bondo instead of wood filler to make sure what you had to fill in was rock solid. So sad that someone threw such a beautiful piece out liked that. Kudos to you for your beautiful rescue.

It's nice, but just stain, don't paint!

Poorly executed repair. Wood filler in cracks is not a repair, its just sweeping the problem under the carpet. No primer before you paint wood??
IDK looks like its just "for entertainment " as most RUclipsrs disclaimer goes.
I could go on..., about the crunchy toast like wood that was glued back together etc etc, but I will stop here

And yet you just took its value down by painting it black that's going to be so hard to get it back to its original colour their worth a lot of money in its original colour. Such a pity

The frame was super water damaged from exposure to the weather. Its value was zero until this creative couple restored it. Did you see how they used glue & clamps to restore the frame shape???
