An awesome season as camp host at Cottonwood Lake Campground comes to a close. So much to see and do in #colorado and this is just a tiny peek. #camping #offroad #gooutside #camphost
Thanks! I wish we were going back too. Being the camp host was a the best. There are so many other experiences to be had! Maybe north to Alaska next spring?
Hey guys. Just wanted you to know that Mike and I got our offer letter from Advenco to be campground hosts at Cottonwood Lake campground. Just wanted to thank you again for connecting us to Shelia! Fondly, Mike and Deb (Lily and Poppy)
I LOVE TENT CAMPING ,but i love to have water and electrical plugs for the electrical items i have with me, can i use the trailer location to place a tent in there without anyone getting mad over it? I DO HAVE A GENERATOR .? but i choice to use the electrical and water hookups
The camp ground doesn’t have water or power. Almost all of the sites have tent pads and there are three pull through sites that also have tent room. Generator use is governed by quiet time restrictions at night.
You might consider a power station. When it needs charged you can by way of your vehicle, generator or solar if you have panels. Either way you’d be running your generator less.
sounds great but i already have 3 - 12volt batteries( deep cycle 450 amps each) with a 1500/3000 invertor for electical supply, i know it weights a bit much , but its hookup with the solar panels 2- 800 watt units and i have something more ? a barrel windmill (800 watts) to make sure the power in the batteries stay charged in the morning, with the generator? besides by the time i pay for the jackery or bluetti units i ll run the generator same as the cost for the gas?, . im not paying 2000.00 to 5000.00 for a jackery or bluetti unless i get it for free. my way is old school for half the price !!!!!!!!!
Had a blast.
Great video! I can't wait to come back next year.

i just watched your video on the predator generator. If you dont have one already I recommend a magnetic dipstick. Thanks
Thanks! I should order one just to satisfy my curiosity about what’s floating around in there.
When did you visit this beautiful campground? Aspens are beautiful.
We worked there from May to October 1st. September was great.

@@tm8747 oh wow. Sorry, I saw tent camping assumed way less power need. My apologies.
