- As one of the key platinum group metals, palladium is a highly prized commodity. It commands more monetary value than gold and is 30 times as rare, with industrial demand outstripping supply for the last decade.
Palladium plays a vital role in reducing harmful emissions and is the premiere choice for hybrid electric vehicle exhaust systems, making it an essential component of the new green economy.
In the world of jewelry, palladium’s unique properties make it ideal in the creation of white gold and its ability to absorb 900 times its volume in hydrogen makes it invaluable in the field of chemistry.
In this palladium documentary, we seek to clear the air and provide the facts on one of the most vital platinum group metals.

last year it was worth 3k, I had 2 ounze of palladium and sold it. One of the best investments i made. I bought it for 1300 both of them years ago.
Wow that's a great return!
I have many palladium ball size I want to communicate with your company.
Yah but now you have green paper that's plummeting in buying power
Pay taxes? They’ll be looking…
I bought 608lbs. Of platinum and Palladium and forgot where I put it. Somewhere near the arctic circle. It's pretty cold up there.
As someone who does back yard refining I can say from first hand experience that Palladium is a true PITA to recover and refine. I'm actually shocked it is as cheap as it is. I would honestly expect it to be 4-5X more expensive. But it is a beautiful metal and my 2nd favourite right behind silver.
A great video btw. I do hope you contacted Sreetips to advise you were going to use a clip from his channel. The guy does a LOT of hard work and deserve the credit.
Thanks for the comment. I didn't ask him because I used the clip for a couple of seconds and credited him.
Excellent video. This is the main metal mines where I work. Lac Des Iles mine is one if not the only mine where palladium is the major metal mined. Cheers!
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Soo can u hook me up with raw paladium XD
Love these short Documentary,s
Yet another fantastic video. Educational value to anyone. Keep'em coming.
Thanks, will do!
One of the biggest application palladium is in catalysis, which has been extensively used pharmaceutical industry and other industries including bulk, commodity chemicals and agrochemicals. Due to this 2010 Chemistry Nobel Prize was awarded for palladium catalysis (Prof. Negishi, Prof. Suzuki and Prof. Heck). It would have been great if the speaker included this information as well.
Thanks for the info!
My new favorite channel! Thanks for the golden nuggets of information! I think the universe is pointing me in a specific direction.
Between my newfound interest in sound money, recently being hired by a geologist, and finding this channel, the pieces are falling into place. I'm excited to build my knowledge at the beginning of a commodity super cycle.
Awesome, glad to have you on board!
I hope you keep making these sort of videos! Copper might be a good topic.
Thank you, I was considering copper and will probably do a video on it at some point.
Thanks for this Cinema worthy video! Very informative
Thank you, glad you found it useful!
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Super job brother! 🦁
Appreciate it!
Very informative many thanks!
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
I love it when "scientists" make assumptions, skip the evidence and trust the word of an "expert".
Very informative
Thank you for watching, glad you got value.
I watched Disney pin trade video earlier and noticed how the designs are so cute but the outlines are a shiny color not like filling in a coloring book with black ink matte lines it's like palladium in space colored in flat for the Disney pin Murakami superflat was on my mind earlier
nice information
Thanks
Good vdo
that intro has some how it's made vibes
Your voice ain’t the best for commenting, but it’s 100x better than dialogue, don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely a new sub and do appreciate the hard work you do making videos, I definitely DO NOT MEAN TO GIVE U NO DISRESPECT.
As the electric car has been becoming popular, not sure if the price of Pd can keep a up-trend in the next decade!
great documentary video, accompany me dinner, thanks a lot
Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
Not gonna lie Wolladium would've been cool name for Palladium XD
Ha! Pd was really cheap in the 1960’s with little industrial use. So my college ring is 1.5 oz of Palladium.
Eu tenho Paladium aqui na Amazônia
Good video!
With one exception - questioning if electrification will fully come to pass seems quite illogical. What are the alternatives? Are you proposing humanity goes back to horses? The oil will run out so there is no alternative to electrification.
This is very misguided. Oil will not run out, we have plenty. Fossil fuels are to be embraced, not shunned.
disaringan knalpot motor juga byk tersimpan emas putih
Do you think its still worth buying Palladium...I just got a Palladium Eagle Proof 2021..the premium was insane..
I'm far from an expert on the palladium market but it seems like a decent speculation to me.
Reality is is going take the fanciful predictions about EVs to the woodshed.

what about titanium?
Apa ciri ciri biji paladium
We need one for ADAMANTINE
Will certainly consider it, thanks!
Platinum and palladium play two completely different roles in catalytic converters. Platinum stores and releases oxygen where as palladium breaks nitrogen from no2 but it can only do so when there is a absence of free oxygen. That's why fuel control systems must cycle from rich to lean in a precise manner.
What about rhodium?
I definitely may cover that at some point.
@@CommodityCulture I have 48 grams of platinum ore... I need to get it tested to see exactly what I have. It's super light... A jeweler offered me 1k for an 18 gram piece I have..

How can you watch video in English when you can't comment in it? 🤡
emas putih yg sangat bernilai
Osmium is next.

Is palladium made from white gold?
White gold is a combination of gold, platinum and some other metals.
Halo gaess
I don't know but I would think there's much better stock footage to run in the background than the confusing, sometimes unrelated and outdated depictions of the processes.
Halo gaes
I have small one palladium boss
Wait I thought palladium was just from palworld
Palladium, chief metal among trolls.
I enjoyed the history of Palladium presented. However, I am sure that internal combustion engines WILL vanish within the next 40 to 50 years. They are already being legislated out of the auto industry by 2030 or 2040 in most developed countries. As you noted there are many processes that will still require Pd.
Thank you for watching. I'm not so sure they'll be phased out, the political class dictating these legislations are some of the most ignorant and vile people on the planet and they have no clue what it actually takes to make that happen.
Using a rarest metal as a solution for automobile gas emissions is the most silly decision that shows science limitations to find a breakthrough for an ever rising issue.
Sounds better to me than making cars unavailable to wide population and reverting back to horse age...
Emissions tightening in China and India. Lol. OK if you say so.
People going to cut off from exhaust, gases kiling million's, something mistake in this case

Sure if Elon want to buy I want 50 billion USD pallium bars myself
this metal is toxic yet i notice the us mint sells it as collector coins
you're not suppose to eat those ones.
Dude reread your scripts. You have been very redundant in your introduction. I like what your doing, also throw some personal touches it'll feel less workplace video.
Ugh, the music. A horribly produced music video....
More monetary value then gold now come talk ….. spike value means nothing…. Gold is the measuring tape and definition of money ….
I agree with you, but palladium costs more per ounce, that's the only point I was making.
@@CommodityCulture not anymore ;)
It is not "Hi Archy" It is "Hi Er Archy".
Russia didn't invade Ukraine, Washington DC did.
Are you dumb or retarded?
Convincing politicians to act in your favour and funding opposition is not an invasion since. Everybody is acting at free will in this transaction.
Bullshit
Take your meds grandma
We ended crypto, so we could sanction and loot Russia. Then we can gate keep space travel. We won, stop crying.
I know one way we can increase the supply of Palladium just stop selling catalytic converters
I know it’s not OK to say the R word, but Russia also exports it as one of their main exports. I watched this metal go from 800 to 1500 in a matter of days and then drop down the 500 and then jump all the way back up to 14
The R word is all good on my channel! Yes, Russia is a major producer of palladium.
