subscribed, I live in Wales, bottom of the national park rather than the north so it will be interesting to watch your vids, I have been off the road since October 2018, had an accident and subsequent infection and hoping to get back this year, got someone who is making some repairs to my bike as my leg doesn't work to well now, ah well still alive so could have been worse lol, also can imagine what sort of thing is coming regards the MH side of things being a sufferer myself, good luck with the channel
Nice to see another Moto Vlogger on an Interceptor 650. The relay thing is a known issue, though I haven’t ever had any problems with my 2020 model. As for power etc, I have been riding over 44 years, ridden all manner of big and small bikes, and have never been happier since I bought “Honour”, though I do have a Classic 350 for when I just want to bimble along. I have never found the front brake to be lacking in feel or stopping ability, but found the rear was a bit lame, until I adjusted the lever up a bit. That made a big difference, they are both fine now. My wife and I worked for the National Trust in Snowdonia for a couple of years, and we will hopefully be returning for some holidays there this year, with one of the bikes. Good luck with the channel !
I don’t think I’ve ever owned a bike with a single disc set-up. I’m having the front checked at my next service, but the rear is definitely below average - thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a go! It’s only a tiny gripe as on the whole I absolutely love the bike 😊 I hope you get to return and you have a great holiday! Thanks again, Ian!
@@PGTripsMedia 😂 the first time bikes appeared with ABS was seen as the devils work, 😂. They weren’t that successful either, obviously over time they have improved 😎
Nice road Patrick, I will add it to my list. My favourite is the A44 to Aberystwyth and coming home I go through Devils Bridge, Elan Valley back to Rhyadder. One day I will make an overnight stop so I can explore the roads and take a different route back.
That makes me want to ride the 4hrs from my house to try that rd. Awesome scenery 👍🏻 Good choice in bike btw , I love mine , probably spent far too much getting it how I want it but it's a forever bike so really doesn't matter !
You should! Then you should watch tonight’s upload and make a plan to ride that one aswell! 🤣 Yes, it is such a great base model bike to upgrade - it’s very easy to lose count of how many pennies you’ve spent though 😂 Thanks for commenting and take care 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing, I have known two men who killed themselves, both seemed fine to their friends, so we never asked if all was ok, I miss them both, if they had waited or sought help or talked to their mates they may still be here,
Patrick, just found your channel I also ride motorcycles over the past 50 years of ride bikes I've had many from 1200 cc down to 50 ccs, I've got myself a royal Enfield Hunter 350, and I also ride a Triumph Bonneville T120 .very much the same size RE 650. My RE Hunter 350 is a great bike for riding to the city or even taking to the road on a Sunday. I've just started to make biking videos, just picking up on what you mention ref your mental health I have not long gone into retirement working as a mental health nurse, so your among friends stay well my friend. Ride safe. Graham .
Hi Graham! Thanks for the comment 😁 Glad you’re enjoying your Hunter! I really wish you well with your motor biking videos, do you have videos on your channel? I’m planning on talking about my mental health diagnosis a few videos down the line - hope you’re still tuning in by then, it’d be good to know your thoughts 👍🏻 Enjoy the rest of your week, Graham. Take care 😊
Enjoyed the video and the commentary. I don't ride my Interceptor as much as you do yours but I've found a quick rub over the engine cases with Meguirars All Metal Polish now and again and a light spray over with Silkolene Pro-Prep more frequently works well for me. The Pro-Prep seems to stop stuff sticking and reduces any light surface corrosion/marking and a quick wash down literally every couple of months very easily cleans off any crud that has stuck. Over time the Meguiars brings up a nice polished finish with very little effort or time needed. I've planned a 700 mile camping tour around Wales in May on my trusty (I hope!) 20 year old RE Bullet Sixty-5) so I'll be following your progress with interest. Good luck with the channel, looking forward to more rides through Wales.
Thanks 😁 I have the Meguires stuff - never tried th Pro Prep though so that’s worth a shot - thanks for the advice. Appreciate it! You will have an AWESOME time. My next video is from Snowdonia and I hope it whets your appetite for riding here! Take care mate and thanks for taking the time to comment ❤️
Hi from Ireland! Nice setup Patrick - seems to work OK - reminds me to invest in an external microphone. Good idea showing the roads - might pop over - either on my Interceptor 650 or my Classic 500. Don't worry about talking bollocks - you should hear me or Saddlebags 73 going on and on and on...😀 An yeah, if you talk about mental health, you will find a good few allies here. irish and UK motovloggers make a community on their own - I hope you get to meet all of us. And yep ... the relays are known to be spoilers.. replaced them with Panasonics as soon I got the Interceptor. As for the covers, I usually give them a blast with GT7 before going out and everything washes off easily if it gets mucky.
Hello mate! Thanks for the kind comment! ❤️ Yeah - I'm still very much an amateur on the hardware and editing side of things. Saying that, you have to start somewhere, eh? I've just invested in a new mic as the latest video I uploaded has some audio issues - hoping it is the mic and not a GoPro issue! Room for improvement definitely, but trial and error! You should definitely get over here in the summer - you can easily spend a fortnight roaming around the Welsh roads without getting bored 😊 Thanks for the cleaning tips - I'm tempted to take them off and throw them into the Irish Sea! 😂 Sláinte!
Patrick, Looking forward to more Welsh roads On a different note I have the same bike and i find the breaks more than adequate but I’m a old f**k in comparison i also have a Triumph 900 GT pro with outstanding breaks but its horses for courses when I’m on the interceptor is brings a different type of smile to me i find my riding far more laid back and relaxed . 😊
Hi John! Thanks for the comment my friend 😁 Next video is from the heart of Snowdonia, I hope you will enjoy it! Yes, I am going to have my brakes checked at the next service because I haven’t heard of any issues. Maybe I just ride too fast 🤣 I agree, the Interceptor is a different type of “smile”. Take care John 🙏🏻
"Oh bloody hell that wind", pretty accurate start to talking about the coast of Wales.
🤣🤣
Great video and what a wonderful road. I look forward seeing more from you. Ride safe.
Thank you my friend! Few more vids on the channel but haven’t uploaded recently due to surgeries etc - lots more to come 😊
Thanks again 🙏🏻

@@PGTripsMedia I have had 120mph bikes in the 1980’s with single discs, and obviously no ABS. No problem 😂😎
🤣🤣 Bit before my time bikes with no ABS haha

That’s horrible to hear. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through such a thing. 🙏🏻
Been to North Wales a couple of times in the motorhome, really want to ride the roads on some of my bikes, must get myself together.
Go for it Chris! You won’t regret it 😁

Enjoyed the video thank you. Do you like the Super Meteor 650?
Thank you! 👍🏻
I haven't seen one in the flesh yet, I do like the look of the 350, so I think they'll be a cracking bike with a 650 motor 😁
what time was it when you recorded this video? love the view, especially the sky
Late afternoon, early evening, end of spring 😃👍🏻
Patrick,
Looking forward to more Welsh roads

Stock exhaust my friend. Only thing that isn’t stock is the mirrors 😁
Easily worth it. Interested to see some of the roads up your way. I share your dislikes of the Interceptor too!
New video being uploaded tonight from Snowdonia 😉
Thankfully the dislikes aren’t too bad - I still love her 😂
Wonder where the goats have gone
Causing bloody havoc in the town they are Phil 🤣
