Hey guys! I didn't expect this video to garner so much attention. 🤯 With that in mind, can I please ask that we are all respectful to one another? People have differing opinions and that's what makes for a healthy society. I know immigration and government policy can be a sensitive and emotional issue, and I can also sometimes be guilty of making comments in bad judgement too. I am simply trying to find a better life for me and my wife, who is the sweetest woman on Earth and poses no threat to either the UK's society or public funds. Any more rude or inappropriate comments will just be blocked. Thank you everyone for your kind words of support - I'm blown away and you are all slowly restoring my faith in humanity 🙏🏻❤
I can feel the gut wrenching part of your story - not too unfamiliar to me (been in a similar situation) and I admire your resolve an sacrifice you are making to shape your life. So I am sorry to hear you have to say goodbye to your Pumpkin, but I am glad you are not giving up and looking to embark on a new adventure to be with your loved one. I wish you all the good luck in the world going forward and I will patiently await for the day I see your videos from Thailand, hopefully puttering around on a Royal Enfield again and sharing the beauty you found there.
Thank you mate, I really appreciate the kind words! That’s life, no one other than me is going to change my circumstances. Gotta grab life by the balls and have a good go at it if you want to be happy 😃 More Welsh videos are still to come - still a good few to edit, so keep an eye out! Thanks again 🙏🏻
Fellow Interceptor rider here.. I feel for your situation, really I do and wish you all the best. Many years ago I met a Czech lady, beautiful, sought after profession in pharmaceuticals and better English than many natives, I always remember the disrespect shown to her from the UK authorities.. and the respect I was shown when visiting her country. I finished up giving up my life in the UK to move to be with her, we married and had a very happy life before she sadly died of breast cancer some years ago now. I'm still living in the Czech Republic and whilst I love the country of my birth I have no wish to return especially when I see the situation on immigration and the NHS. I thought then... and I think now that it should be a RIGHT of a British native to invite his spouse to join him here, it's upsetting to see so many people now in the UK that have no ties to the country and are there basically as economic migrants whilst Britons have seemingly very few rights. I hope everything turns out as you hope for Patrick.. Good luck!
Hello! You have great taste in motorcycles clearly! Wow. I'm so sorry to hear about your wife 😢 Life can be so cruel. I have no issue paying for the NHS for her or a reasonable visa fee. As you say, it should be a right in a so-called first-world society. Thank you for sharing your story, it is truly inspirational and gives me much hope. Thank you for taking the time to wish us well. You seem like a wonderful human being and I wish you happiness too 🙏🏻
My heart goes out to you my fellow Welshman. This country is arse backwards for sure! But they say things happen for a reason, so maybe better times are ahead 😊.
Patrick, may I wish you the very best of luck. I can't thank you enough for your vlogs around Wales, you have been great company and honestly a true inspiration to complete and pass my test. I'm so looking forward to riding through mid-Wales and Snowdonia to Anglesey, moto camping. Thank you, good luck to both you and your wife.
Hello mate! 😁 There are still more Wales videos to come before I make the move over so keep an eye out for them! Glad to hear I’ve inspired you to do your test and come and visit our wonderful country 🏴 Good luck with the process; it’s well worth it! Thank you for your good wishes, they are appreciated! Take care my friend 🙏🏻
Patrick, your vid just came up in my feed as I’ve been eyeing off the RE Interceptor lately and I’m glad it did. I’m a first generation Australian with a heritage that’s Welsh and English and I enjoyed the short tour of your part of the country. I will get over there one day to see it for myself. I wish all the best for you and your wife going forward.
Hello my friend! Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻 I’d highly recommend the bike, I’m sure you’ll love it. You definitely should get over to Wales if you’re a motorcyclist, the roads are made for us! 😎 I hope I’ll be able to return the favour and get to Oz one day too! Thanks again for the comment - there are more Wales videos coming that I’ve already filmed, so I hope you enjoy 😊
Really gutted for you, hope everything work's out well for you. Enjoying the vids, I've got the same bike 🏍 same colour as well. You have really inspired me, and got me out on the bike on a trip to North Wales last week 👍 Good luck and thanks
Don’t be gutted mate! It is what it is. I’ve been lucky enough to own her for a year now and the bike has given me some wonderful times 😁 Thanks for the kind words, they’re appreciated 🙏🏻👍🏻
I married outside the eu and the bloody visa situation took skill and money and planning. I feel for you. We live in a country that seemingly hates its own population.
Ps. Thank you for all the interactions and your racist rants, they’re adding to the RUclips interaction algorithm and helping my channel get promoted more. Do me a favour pal and reply on some more videos because soon you’ll have helped me become monetised 🙏🏻❤️
Going to miss your vids, I have just bought an interceptor, chrome with black stripe, love it, just a chilled out laid back ride, am looking forward to our New Zealand roads this summer.
Amazing! Congratulations on joining the club! You’re going to love the bike 😁 It gets better as it ages 👍🏻 There will be more videos coming from Wales…I’m stretching them out so they last until I get to Thailand 🤣 Then, we’ll see, maybe there’ll be some from there 💪🏻 Take care my friend!
Exactly! I had to cut ALOT of that video because in parts, I was just going off at the state of this country and society 😂 Thank you for the good wishes, we’ll make it work 😊🙏🏻
So just a thought is it same problem in the EU? Just been looking at these bikes really do like the GT heart say yes but when I ask people say got for interceptor the new black ray looks nice be good if they got tubeless on the spokes for 2024
I'm not sure about the EU. We could live in Georgia together though 😂 The only reason I wouldn't go for GT is the handle bars - Interceptor far more relaxed! Yes, the black looks very nice and no chrome to polish! 🙈😂
My heart goes out to you. I married a Thai 20 years ago now. I know they have tightened up on immigration in recent times (unless you wash up on our shores with no documents!). Thai women are generally very loyal, so stay strong and sure it will work out in the end. ps; Thailand is a wonderful country to live in once you adjust to it.
When I broke my leg and had surgery, I spent over a week in hospital. Every night she would come after work, even after night shifts, and sleep on the granite floor with nothing but a pillow. She's a special woman and I'd rather die trying to be with her than let this shitty government win 😊 I lived there for 2 years before my accident, it adjusted to me a lot better than the UK haha Cheers Mark! 🙏🏻😁
Sounds like you have landed a good lady. Love Thailand and been back 10-15 times now for one month holidays with my wife and son. Would happily live there but wife prefers the UK for making/sending money home. I wish you well. @@PGTripsMedia
Great to see your video. Royal Enfield is a shared heritage of Britain and India. I wish I could lend you my bike. Your Thai videos with or without a bike will be even more interesting
Yes, it is a very similar dress code isn’t it! Your culture seems to be interwoven through the South East Asian countries. I find all countries East of and including India absolutely fascinating! 😁 Take care my friend, thanks for commenting 👍🏻😎
Good luck Patrick to you and your wife have enjoyed you down to earth vlogs look forward to your new ones from your new country I know exactly what you mean about your Interceptor I have one same colour. If I was forced to only have one bike it would me the one I would keep 😊
Hi John! Thank you for your good wishes, it is very much appreciated! There’ll be some more Wales vlogs before I make the move so keep an eye out for them 😁🙏🏻😎
After watching this video, I wish you all the very best luck in your quest to be together with your wife, whether in Thailand or this country. I hope you don't have to part with Pumpkin and that somehow things work out financially for you both in the near future. Looking forward to seeing future vids, perhaps with your wife sharing your love of 'bikes wherever you both reside.
Thank you Chris! 😁 We have no choice but for me to move there if we are going to make our marriage work, and that means selling Pumpkin. She's already on Auto Trader waiting for a good home 😢 There will definitely be future videos in Thailand and she absolutely loved riding around Snowdonia on the back of Pumpkin! Thanks again for taking the time to wish us well 🙏🏻
hey dude sorry to hear about the immigration problem. amazing wedding pics. thanks for sharing your story, looking forward to more videos/stories from you.
Hey! Thank you my friend! I'm a very lucky man as you can see! 😁 Thanks for the good wishes 🙏🏻 Please tell me your name is actually Frederick Bourbon?? That could be the coolest name i've ever heard! 😂
Greetings from the US. I hope both you and your wife the best of luck. Just got my first bike, an INT650, and love it. It is criminal what some countries do on the immigration front. Subbed to see what happens in the next chapter for you.
Just discovered you today. Great video. I’m always interested to hear from RE owners. I’m in Thailand with a 2020 Interceptor and can guarantee this place will keep you happy. From experience I can tell you Thai cattle are constructed entirely from concrete especially their heads. Don’t underestimate their ability to step in front of you.
Thanks Stephen! 🙏🏻 I lived in Thailand for a couple of years with only a PCX 160 and 2 small dogs almost killed me 🤣 Those buffalo look like they are made out of granite!! Have you had any issues with the bike?
Best of luck mate, and I hope you can get the Visa thing sorted out, I really do. I can sympathise with your situation, I have been through this whole song and dance with Australian immigration when I was getting a permanent Visa for my wife. Best wishes to you both 😊
Hi Patrick, Sad to hear about the end of this superb model. I live in North Wales, close to Prestatyn, and this area where i live, seriously needs a good mechanic to work on Enfields. I have an ealier 500 Bullet, and almost nobody around here wants to touch one, as they are TOTALLY clueless about them. So if you ever know of anybody who works on the earlier ones, then please for Gods sake get in touch. Kind regards, Gary
Hi Gary! 😁 I’m absolutely gutted! 😩 Ahhh we are practically neighbours 👍🏻 Have you tried A & D in Denbigh? Failing them give LMC motorcycles in Llandudno a call. He is a very good bloke and he owns an interceptor 😉 Cheers mate 🙏🏻
And they say there's no dangerous wildlife in Britain! Anyway, so sorry about your situation. This is the first time I've seen your channel and you seem like a top bloke.
Just bring the good lady in then keep her here. Argue the toss with them later. God will find a way for you. I'd be inclined to ignore what's legal and be more concentrated on what's lawful and right. What's considered legal won't matter soon and we'll all have to fight what awful changes they've got lined up for us......or not. God bless you and your wife and I wish you all the best.
Mate your absolutely right! we are screwed in this country. I really cannot stand it either. I'm sorry that your in an awkward position yet the boat men come for nothing!! batshit bonkers Britain.
It is what it is my friend. I've been presented with a choice and I am not paying the money out of principle. I'm voting with my feet 😂 Cheers mate! 🙏🏻
Nihil carborundum illegitimi. May things go well for you and may you soon be reunited with your wife. Thailand is a beautiful country, the weather is far better, it actually has a summer and you can swim in the sea without loosing your you you know whats, behind your ears. Embrace the change and look forward. All the best!
I'm sorry to hear your story, It's so unfair, when you see all the scum getting into Great Britain over the channel and the government is doing nothing about it, And a man takes a wife and has to pay for her to come to his own country, It would most Definitely make my blood boil as well, The government and the law is an Arse! An absolute outrageous situation indeed, My heart goes out to you and your Wife, Especially seeing as i am I Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 owner, Hopefully one day you'll get together and you and your Wife will be able to get an Interceptor 650 Again, And ride it to a Coffee Bar ✌️ I'll keep my fingers crossed 🤞 All the best, Cheers Paul Foster
Hi Paul! 😊 Thank you very much for the kind words and wishes - they're truly appreciated! My blood is still boiling and there's nothing I can do about it other than leave my country...and my Interceptor 😢 This government and society as a whole is just one big clown show now and I'm voting with my feet 😂 Cheers mate! 🙏🏻
I feel your pain. I have been married to a Thai lady for five years. we have already had her visa turned down once. Sadly, there are no jobs in Thailand, and you won't be able to work without a work visa. It's not an easy situation. I wish you the best of luck
Congratulations on five years!! 😁 Yes, challenging for sure. The marriage visa gives me the opportunity to apply for a work permit and if it all fails we’ll just win the Thai lottery 😂 Thanks for the kind wishes Barrie; much appreciated 🙏🏻
Hello mate! 😁 Yes, I lived in Phuket and was so jealous of my neighbour who had the Baker Express Interceptor 🤣 If I hadn’t have almost killed myself on a scooter and almost bankrupted myself I’d still be there 🙈🤣 Going back soon 😁😁😁 Are you out there? 🙏🏻
@@PGTripsMedia yeah, it's easy to spend a lot of money, on most Islands, on Phuket especially 😁 However, at least one spends the cash on fun and/or other rather nice things, instead of the taxman reaping off his share 😁. Yes, i settled here few decades ago. it's a dream coming true for us bike blokes, I suppose 👌.
Don't grieve for Pumpkin; bikes can be replaced. I had a little Skygo Earl 150 Classic (a locally-assembled Lifan) in Philippines which suited the local conditions perfectly well. Ok, it wasn't an Interceptor, but it sufficed. I feel for you Patrick but, sadly, this is not a unusual situation in a number of western countries. My wife and I were apart for over two years due to Covid restrictions, me stuck in Oz and she in Philippines. She's Filipina and we're 12 years together, 8 years married and I finally managed to get her and our daughter into Australia last year. Cost? Over $50,000 AUD. It reached a point at which, if we'd received yet another demand for documents already supplied but then deemed out of date due to Immigration taking so long to process the application, we were going to forget the whole exercise, write off the cost and I would have moved back to Philippines. Fortunately, the visa was finally granted, so that wasn't necessary, but it was a very close-run thing. So, all the best to you and your wife. Being together and happy is far more important than where, despite the inevitable locational challenges that one faces.
Hi Chris! 😁 I do get attached to my bikes haha 😂 That must have been awful to have been apart. I just don't get the justification for these sums of money. It's legalised corruption. How can they do this to families? So glad you managed to get the visa granted. You're exactly correct which means we'll settle for the next best option in Thailand 🙏🏻😁 Thanks for the comment mate, inspirational for me and my wife and we appreciate it.
@@PGTripsMedia Agreed, being apart for so long wasn't fun and I'm sure that you can relate to it. For us as a family, it also meant that I missed out on the vital early teen years of bringing up our daughter. Sadly, governments don't care about their people, who are viewed merely as a source of revenue. The visa systems are legalised robbery and, frankly, they make Ned Kelly look like a rank amateur. My wife and I hope that you can be successful in Thailand and, above all, be happy together - whatever life throws at you. 🙏🙂
This is heartbreaking. Good luck, Patrick; wishing you a better future, wherever you and your lady wife find yourselves. Oh, and I'll see your Llandudno gulls, and raise you our Brighton Bay black-back gulls. Apex predators.
Sorry to watch this mate, alarming, sad and upsetting. I genuinely wish you all the very best you deserve a bit of good luck now so don't give up hope.
@@PGTripsMedia We're all good, first thing Olivia said was..I guess Patrick won't be able to show us around if we decide to go back next year for a visit 😕...Take care mate and keep biking 👍👍
Very sorry for you. I hope everything gets sorted. I have lived in France longer than I lived in the UK. With Brexshit, I had to get French nationality so as not to lose my job and, later, my pension. It's madness.
Good luck. I know where you are coming from. My wife is Japanese and we have a son. A lot of hassle and money to be together in the UK; about £3600 for the first of three visas she will need to have permanent residency. I had to come back here and spend a year on my own to prove I could earn enough to sponser her. It was much easier for me when I was living in Japan. £60 for the marriage visa to live and work there.
The government only wants fighting age Muslim men in the country, and will openly escort them into the country, but a legitimate spouse has years of hoops to jump through. The whole system is broken.
And that my friend, is why I want to leave. Put it this way, we could build a house on her land for the money the UK government want us to pay for the "privilege" of joining me here. Jokers. 😑
Yeah sure..... is that why the government has closed down legal routes for asylum seekers? Because they want more? Also please explain the difference between "fighting age" and "working age". Might be time to stop smoking the Daily Heil.
Sorry to hear about your situation mate. I agree with your sentiments about the state of the governance of this country. Have you considered a go fund me to help with your situation?
Thanks mate 🙏🏻 Its totally fine - I love a challenge 😂 Thanks for the idea but I don’t believe others should pay for my choices and circumstances. We’ll get there eventually 😊 Thanks again for the kind words 🙏🏻👍🏻
Hope you well. But just think, in 20 years as everyone is dealing with lithium battery fires, no gas for those still clinging to their good old rides, you'll be riding around the warm Thailand countryside on your bike. 😎
Such a ridiculous situation created by the UK government, they have been making it increasingly difficult and expensive for legal immigration. My wife is Malaysian and we live there, much simpler for us to do that than move to the UK (not to mention much cheaper for a visa). Good luck for your future plans!
if you have skills try to emigrate to Canada, west canada ie British Columbia climate is similar to uk, not too hot and fairly mild in winter, and we have all flavours of humanity too, scenery is fantastic, although the roads arnt so twisty... but there are great routes to explore.... i moved here to be with my wife, who is from Peru.... good luck and follow your heart, life is too short for wishing you had....
Hi Stephen! 😁🙏🏻 I completely agree with you. I have a stupendous fear of regret on my deathbed. My father died young having done nothing he wanted to do in his life. I have no skills that would benefit Canada 😂 It is on my list of countries to ride - once I become wealthy, I will definitely visit! 🇨🇦 Good luck to you and your Peruvian wife, I hope you have a long and happy life together 🙏🏻
🌟Just found your channel. I'm in Llandudno. I have a W800, and don't have a riding buddy to plod round our beautiful countryside with. Come back soon. Buy another bike. Gutted man🏴🇬🇧😒
Sorry about your situation mate . As you said the government tries to wring the last drop of blood out of the citizens, There must be a loop hole somewhere to aid you in bringing your wife to Wales. Good luck mate 👍,keep your chin up . Peace out ✌️
Crikey things have changed for the worse,, My wife came from China 10 years ago and back then we had loads of hoops to jump though, cost me about 2 thou, but we got there..What I would say is hang in there,,, you,ll sort things out......
Thank you! I was stuck in Wuhan during Covid and I have nothing but love for the Chinese 🇨🇳 In some of the villages in Hubei Province they would refuse to accept my money for anything. Thanks again 🙏🏻
yeah the Chinese can be quite kind like that,, I,v seen pretty much all of China (warts and all)and it is such a strange country and people(none more so then my Mrs)anyway good luck and I wish you and your mrs all the best@@PGTripsMedia
Thank you! It’s amazing how RUclips connects people 🇺🇸 I hope I’ll sell it for a fair price 😁 hahaha yes, now imagine the rat with a big sharp beak! 🙈🤣
The U.S border is wide open just fly Baj California Mexico then walk across the border. If you get stopped both of you claim political asylum and welcome to the U.S. If bidden is not going to enforce the borders, then why not take advantage of it. I have heard that people from Brazil are doing this buy the thousands. I brought my wife to the U.S legally while I was in the U.S army to get her hear and from a K1 finance visa to citizenship cost me about 6,000 dollars. I can totally understand some sort of evidence to prove you have been together for 6 months to a year but once you are legally married as long as you don't become a burden on the government, they should let you be in whichever of the two countries were born in without any headache.
As you well know UK is fubarred with little future. I left UK almost 50 yrs ago to Aus. Never regretted that move, its what UK dreams of becoming, but fat chance. But let me warn you, a westerner living in the 3rd world with NO foreign income is doomed to fail. No foreign income and no local employment (pittance), unless she is super wealthy I cant see how she will sustain you for the long haul. And the Farang will end up being penniless with difficulty just getting back home. My advice try applying to emigrate to AUS from Thailand. It may take a few years but if successful you'll have everything UK can offer plus a lot more. Good luck mate. PS. I ride a RE Tribute 500.
Hi! 😁 I'm well aware of what I'm getting myself into. It's going to be incredibly difficult, but I am the most stubborn welshman you'll ever meet 😂 I'd rather be poor with her than barely making ends meet here without her. I should have enough to last me a good while whilst I figure out the plans. I can speak Thai, have english teaching qualifications and I lived there before and managed well, until my insurance wouldn't pay out for my surgery haha Thanks for the tips but I'm probably less likely to get into Aus than she is haha Thanks for the good wishes mate and taking the time to comment, I really do appreciate it! Ride safe on that Tribute 😉
My brother, good luck in your return to Thailand and never forget your beautiful lady waiting for you there. You'll make it happen. So sad that your own country won't let your legal wife in without paying an outrageous sum when they let in every sort who washes up on their shores for no reason at all, and the taxpayers have no choice but to see their government use their money to support it. It's much like that where I live...the USA. This is the first of your videos I've seen; RUclips's algorithms decided to recommend this to me today. Sad that you must leave your own country to be with your lady and sad that you must give up your precious Pumpkin. I've been riding motorcycles since the 1970s and you have some picturesque places to see from the back of your steel steed. Do your best and perhaps there will be another Pumpkin in your future in Thailand. Triumphs are made in Thailand, so perhaps one of those instead. Best of luck to you, and cheers from America.
Thank you so much for the good wishes!! Unfortunately Triumphs are no cheaper…I’ve test ridden them in Thailand though and the Street Twin is the perfect bike! Will probably looking at something like a Himalayan though 🙏🏻😄
@@PGTripsMedia - I subscribed to you based on this video. You do it quite well; much better than your small number of subscribers would suggest. Can't wait until you post some from Thailand. In the meantime I'll be perusing your previously posted videos. And here I thought you might be able to get a Triumph on the (relatively) cheap given that an RE would be an import in Thailand. Import taxes in the poorer Asian countries are usually horrendous. Again cheers and best of luck to you.
Thanks! Very kind of you to say 🙏🏻 My thoughts were similar. Alas, Triumph may have decided to Hoover up the extra profit. They do have very good finance deals in Thailand though! Yeah man, keep an eye out for future videos. I haven’t quite decided on the direction the channel is going to take, but I should be there in November 😄 Thanks again for the kind words. It’s really encouraging to hear 👍🏻
Moving to Thailand is a no-brainer. This country is f*cked, get out if you can. I haven't been to Thailand for about 20 years but it's somewhere I'd definitely consider emigrating to.
It is what it is my friend - I can only control what I can control and there’s no point in getting angry like I did in the video 🙈😂 Thanks for coming along for the ride 🙏🏻👍🏻
Feel for you, lad. Unfortunately the country has long gone to the dogs, the older generation know it. The government are putting punitive costs on the indigenous Brits’ as a result of trying to stop dodgy ‘relatives, spouses coming over, primarily from South Asia, as I understand. Good luck.
It's ridiculous how you can sneak in for free. I say sneak but I'm dubious that they don't see these people coming. It's a small area to police and would save us millions if they did. But if you're genuine you have to pay through the nose. I could go on 😀
Hahaha just look out from Dover or on Tiktok 😂😂 Don't we already pay the French 100s of millions to do that for us? 😂 It's fine - it's become the catalyst for me to pack up and leave! 👍🏻
The problem politicaly is meet people who vent thier anger at hows things currently are, then when you tell them well dont worry thier an election again soon , most are qucik to respond " o i dont vote " .....?......?????? It carnt be that bad then i reply
And for the first time I couldn't vote at the last election because I didn't have photo ID. Tried to get a form online but they wanted me to download a photo. Couldn't do that either, don't have a camera. Have lost my right to vote. It's insidious. Will vote in the general election somehow. Any government that takes away the right to vote needs to be OUT!
Get her to France and buy a rubber dinghy and they will pay your wife to come over and a 5 star hotel honeymoon. (I wrote that that before you said it).
You guys have Trump to thank. He started the zenophobia and all of the industrialized nations followed our example! Good luck to you, your wife is beautiful!
Yes mate. I paid her village 4 buffalos, 12 pigs, 25 chickens and built them a well for her hand in marriage. I now pay her family 20,000 baht a month to keep her. 🤣 Thanks for the well wishes 🙏🏻
WTF? Your married & still having immigration issues. I thought uf you're married to a citizen who'd been born in that country who were ok.You have a beautiful wife. That's disgusting how they treating you & your leg issues shouldn't be a issue you can't work & would be on a disability benefit or similar should count as income.Another thing you could try is to return to work for 6months & try again & 6months will fly by & you'd be better off in the UK in the long run with free Health Care & Welfare etc.Really being a citizen you should be able to be unemployment benefit & marry a foriegn national without having to jump through hoops. Also as you said will be easier to work in UK than Thailand & 6 months will fly by.
Unfortunately so. It’s not just the £19,000 per annum income of my own I need to prove for 6 months continuously, it’s also the fact that over 5 years, and for her to gain settled status, we’ll be spending approximately £15k in costs, if not more. Out of principle, I’m simply not prepared to pay it. We can rent a house for £175 a month in Thailand with no bullshit taxes and the visa costs £50 a year. I’m not disabled enough to claim for any benefits as I get statutory sick pay for surgery and recovery and it doesn’t count toward income as it’s too little. The health care is great in Thailand. I used hospitals and clinics and never waited more than 5 mins for a doctor. I’m still young so insurance will be reasonable. I was much happier living in Thailand and she has a good job, car and land over there. We’ve literally been priced out of living in my own country by millionaire politicians that come from immigrants. Ironic, right? 😂 Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the help and concern 🙏🏻
You're doing the honourable thing by moving to Thailand, rather than bringing your wife to this country. It does sicken me that well-qualified people from the old Commonwealth have to pay so much to qualify for residency in the UK, while boatloads of illegal immigrants regularly cross the Channel from "war-torn" France & get in for free.
I am disgusted by the situation you find yourself in. This government is spending £ billions on illegal immigrants but have nothing for British citizens. Women born in the 50's have had 5 years pension stolen from them and the government are waiting for them to die so they don't have to make a settlement. I hope you get your problem solved, whether you get your wife here or you go to her, good luck.
It just seems like in the last 15 years good, tax paying citizens have been continuously milked, while the reprobates and the rich get what they want. It's only getting worse it seems. Thank you for the good wishes 🙏🏻

My heart goes out to you my fellow Welshman. This country is arse backwards for sure! But they say things happen for a reason, so maybe better times are ahead 😊.
Diolch 😎
Yes, I hope so my friend. It’s either this or another year apart. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏻😁
So is australia
Patrick, may I wish you the very best of luck. I can't thank you enough for your vlogs around Wales, you have been great company and honestly a true inspiration to complete and pass my test. I'm so looking forward to riding through mid-Wales and Snowdonia to Anglesey, moto camping. Thank you, good luck to both you and your wife.
Hello mate! 😁
There are still more Wales videos to come before I make the move over so keep an eye out for them! Glad to hear I’ve inspired you to do your test and come and visit our wonderful country 🏴 Good luck with the process; it’s well worth it!
Thank you for your good wishes, they are appreciated! Take care my friend 🙏🏻
22:18 Your camera here was crying after listening to the story.
Who knows, maybe it'll be for a better life. GL with your life my man.
Haha 😂 it’s been behaving badly for a while now 😂 Thanks for the good wishes 👍🏻
Patrick, your vid just came up in my feed as I’ve been eyeing off the RE Interceptor lately and I’m glad it did. I’m a first generation Australian with a heritage that’s Welsh and English and I enjoyed the short tour of your part of the country. I will get over there one day to see it for myself.
I wish all the best for you and your wife going forward.
Hello my friend! Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻
I’d highly recommend the bike, I’m sure you’ll love it.
Really enjoyed your videos and look forward to the future content, good luck and all the best for the future in Thailand.
Thank you my friend! 😁
There’s still a few more Wales videos in the pipeline to come 🙏🏻👍🏻
I wish you and your wife a good and happy future and all the best in Thailand. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you!!! We appreciate your kind words 😃 Love the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ❤️
Really gutted for you, hope everything work's out well for you.
Enjoying the vids, I've got the same bike 🏍 same colour as well.
You have really inspired me, and got me out on the bike on a trip to North Wales last week 👍
Good luck and thanks
Don’t be gutted mate! It is what it is. I’ve been lucky enough to own her for a year now and the bike has given me some wonderful times 😁 Thanks for the kind words, they’re appreciated 🙏🏻👍🏻
Also…it makes me so happy to know you’ve come over to North Wales! Hope you had an awesome time!
I married outside the eu and the bloody visa situation took skill and money and planning. I feel for you. We live in a country that seemingly hates its own population.
Thank you Chris! 🙏🏻 We'll get there. I'm trying to see it as a blessing in disguise 🇹🇭
Hahaha my BMI is actually fine mate. I lived in her country training Muay Thai - what was I meant to do? Only marry British birds haha. Cheers Nick 👍🏻
Ps. Thank you for all the interactions and your racist rants, they’re adding to the RUclips interaction algorithm and helping my channel get promoted more. Do me a favour pal and reply on some more videos because soon you’ll have helped me become monetised 🙏🏻❤️
@chrispomphrett4283 It seems the racist has left the building - I hope you didn't see the drivel he wrote 🙏🏻
At 2:42, above his left hand, is that a palm tree? I saw more of these on both sides of the road, again at 3:13, Welsh palms.
Haven't got a clue my friend. Look like palm trees but I am certainly no botanist!
I wish you and the wife best of luck. And look forward to the thailand videos.
Thank you my friend! 🙏🏻😊
Going to miss your vids, I have just bought an interceptor, chrome with black stripe, love it, just a chilled out laid back ride, am looking forward to our New Zealand roads this summer.
Amazing! Congratulations on joining the club! You’re going to love the bike 😁 It gets better as it ages 👍🏻
There will be more videos coming from Wales…I’m stretching them out so they last until I get to Thailand 🤣 Then, we’ll see, maybe there’ll be some from there 💪🏻 Take care my friend!
I wish you well mate, best of luck for the future!
Thank you my friend! 🙏🏻😎
I’d best not get on my soap box
I wish you both the very best
Don’t give up keep fighting sometimes in life you have to do what’s needed
Exactly! I had to cut ALOT of that video because in parts, I was just going off at the state of this country and society 😂
Thank you for the good wishes, we’ll make it work 😊🙏🏻
So just a thought is it same problem in the EU?
Just been looking at these bikes really do like the GT heart say yes but when I ask people say got for interceptor the new black ray looks nice be good if they got tubeless on the spokes for 2024
I'm not sure about the EU. We could live in Georgia together though 😂
The only reason I wouldn't go for GT is the handle bars - Interceptor far more relaxed!
She's a special woman and I'd rather die trying to be with her than let this shitty government win 😊 I lived there for 2 years before my accident, it adjusted to me a lot better than the UK haha
Cheers Mark! 🙏🏻😁
Sounds like you have landed a good lady. Love Thailand and been back 10-15 times now for one month holidays with my wife and son. Would happily live there but wife prefers the UK for making/sending money home. I wish you well. @@PGTripsMedia
Thanks Mark! All the best to your family - สวัสดีกับภรรยาของคุณครับ 🙏🏻

Great to see your video. Royal Enfield is a shared heritage of Britain and India. I wish I could lend you my bike. Your Thai videos with or without a bike will be even more interesting
Thank you my friend! Yes, I enjoy watching Indians travel around on their Enfields on RUclips - I must visit one day! 😎
@@PGTripsMedia Please do. India is literally next door Thailand. Even your wedding outfit looked very similar to us culturally🙂
Yes, it is a very similar dress code isn’t it! Your culture seems to be interwoven through the South East Asian countries. I find all countries East of and including India absolutely fascinating! 😁
Take care my friend, thanks for commenting 👍🏻😎
We have no choice but for me to move there if we are going to make our marriage work, and that means selling Pumpkin. She's already on Auto Trader waiting for a good home 😢
There will definitely be future videos in Thailand and she absolutely loved riding around Snowdonia on the back of Pumpkin!
😁 Thanks for the good wishes 🙏🏻
Please tell me your name is actually Frederick Bourbon?? That could be the coolest name i've ever heard! 😂
yeah and i go by Bourbon, Freddy Bourbon 😄@@PGTripsMedia
Sensational! 😆
Greetings from the US. I hope both you and your wife the best of luck. Just got my first bike, an INT650, and love it. It is criminal what some countries do on the immigration front. Subbed to see what happens in the next chapter for you.
Hello again! 😁
Glad you love the bike! 😁 There will be more videos from Wales and then we'll be off to Thailand 🙏🏻
Good luck, with everything; from Australia .
Thank you David! 🇦🇺
Patrick have you looked at BWRT yet...I like your plan...good luck...love lives.
Yes, I have. Thanks. Very interesting and once I have a bit of free time, I’ll delve deeper. Thank you for the good wishes 🙏🏻
Best wishes to you both 😊
Thank you my friend! 🙏🏻
Your kind comment is truly appreciated 😊 I hope you and your wife have a wonderful life together!
Hi Patrick,
Sad to hear about the end of this superb model.
Kind regards,
Gary
Hi Gary! 😁
I’m absolutely gutted! 😩 Ahhh we are practically neighbours 👍🏻
Have you tried A & D in Denbigh? Failing them give LMC motorcycles in Llandudno a call. He is a very good bloke and he owns an interceptor 😉
Cheers mate 🙏🏻
@@PGTripsMedia Mine is a pre unit custom Bullet.
Are you on Facebook?
And they say there's no dangerous wildlife in Britain! Anyway, so sorry about your situation. This is the first time I've seen your channel and you seem like a top bloke.
Thank you Andrew. I appreciate the kind words! 🙏🏻
It'd be just our luck she'd be caught! 😂
Embrace the change and look forward. All the best!
Hahaha!
Thank you Ian 🙏🏻
I'm sorry to hear your story,
It's so unfair, when you see all the scum getting into Great Britain over the channel and the government is doing nothing about it,
And a man takes a wife and has to pay for her to come to his own country,
It would most Definitely make my blood boil as well,
The government and the law is an Arse!
An absolute outrageous situation indeed,
My heart goes out to you and your Wife,
Especially seeing as i am I Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 owner,
Hopefully one day you'll get together and you and your Wife will be able to get an Interceptor 650
Again,
And ride it to a Coffee Bar ✌️
I'll keep my fingers crossed 🤞
All the best,
Cheers Paul Foster
Hi Paul! 😊
Thank you very much for the kind words and wishes - they're truly appreciated!
My blood is still boiling and there's nothing I can do about it other than leave my country...and my Interceptor 😢 This government and society as a whole is just one big clown show now and I'm voting with my feet 😂
Cheers mate!
@@PGTripsMedia We have been trying the lottery route for years. Still no joy :-(
Welcome to PARADISE on earth, mate 🙏
As a biker you will have a blast in Thailand, as a RE lover you will find them widely available 👌

Yes, I lived in Phuket and was so jealous of my neighbour who had the Baker Express Interceptor 🤣 If I hadn’t have almost killed myself on a scooter and almost bankrupted myself I’d still be there 🙈🤣 Going back soon 😁😁😁
Are you out there? 🙏🏻
@@PGTripsMedia yeah, it's easy to spend a lot of money, on most Islands, on Phuket especially 😁
However, at least one spends the cash on fun and/or other rather nice things, instead of the taxman reaping off his share 😁.
Yes, i settled here few decades ago.

I work in Llandudno once a year and the seagull are indeed brutal, I thought Tenby seagulls were tough but at least they're polite when pasty nabbing
You’re lucky to have made it out alive my friend!! 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Chris! 😁
I do get attached to my bikes haha 😂
That must have been awful to have been apart.
Hahahahahaha! I'm tempted to catch one and ride it down to brighton to challenge your lot 😂
Thank you so much for the kind wishes 🙏🏻
Love the interceptor, had one for a year and sold it to get another 500. Ive spent 7k trying to get out of this place so far 🤣

Very sorry for you. I hope everything gets sorted. I have lived in France longer than I lived in the UK. With Brexshit, I had to get French nationality so as not to lose my job and, later, my pension. It's madness.
Thank you Jane! 🙏🏻 I'm glad you've managed to make it work in France 😊
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Sounds very familiar. Are you living together in the UK now?
The government only wants fighting age Muslim men in the country, and will openly escort them into the country, but a legitimate spouse has years of hoops to jump through. The whole system is broken.
And that my friend, is why I want to leave. Put it this way, we could build a house on her land for the money the UK government want us to pay for the "privilege" of joining me here. Jokers. 😑
It’s the planned destruction by government leaders. “You will own know and you’ll be happy.”
@@PGTripsMedia It’s a no brainier. Looks like a wonderful opportunity.
Government means control of the mind - literally! They don’t serve us, they never have.
Yeah sure..... is that why the government has closed down legal routes for asylum seekers? Because they want more?
Also please explain the difference between "fighting age" and "working age".
Might be time to stop smoking the Daily Heil.
I wish you all the best in life. 👍
Thank you Alan. Very much appreciated! 🙏🏻

I am 100% sure haha! It's illegal to import vehicles into Thailand, otherwise I'd have ridden there on her! 😂
What a beautiful place to live.
I agree 😁
It is absurd. You’re not alone. You have the right idea with taking a boat to SA and hoofin’ it to the TX border.
Such a ridiculous situation created by the UK government, they have been making it increasingly difficult and expensive for legal immigration. My wife is Malaysian and we live there, much simpler for us to do that than move to the UK (not to mention much cheaper for a visa). Good luck for your future plans!
I love Malaysia 😊 Thank you so much and I wish the best for your family in Malaysia too! I hope to ride down to Malaysia from Phuket one day 👍🏻

A sad situation. If I could afford to live in the US I may have tried it myself!
Could you be Irish ? may help.
You’d think with a name like Patrick Brogan it’d be nailed on 🤣🤣 Unfortunately not! 😐
@@PGTripsMedia worth a try, less of a move than Thailand.

I'm well aware of what I'm getting myself into. It's going to be incredibly difficult, but I am the most stubborn welshman you'll ever meet 😂 I'd rather be poor with her than barely making ends meet here without her. I should have enough to last me a good while whilst I figure out the plans. I can speak Thai, have english teaching qualifications and I lived there before and managed well, until my insurance wouldn't pay out for my surgery haha Thanks for the tips but I'm probably less likely to get into Aus than she is haha
Thanks for the good wishes mate and taking the time to comment, I really do appreciate it!

Thanks! Very kind of you to say 🙏🏻
My thoughts were similar. Alas, Triumph may have decided to Hoover up the extra profit. They do have very good finance deals in Thailand though!
Yeah man, keep an eye out for future videos. I haven’t quite decided on the direction the channel is going to take, but I should be there in November 😄
Thanks again for the kind words. It’s really encouraging to hear 👍🏻

@@PGTripsMedia Wish you luck and happiness in the future, take care 👍🏻😀
Feel for you, lad. Unfortunately the country has long gone to the dogs, the older generation know it. The government are putting punitive costs on the indigenous Brits’ as a result of trying to stop dodgy ‘relatives, spouses coming over, primarily from South Asia, as I understand. Good luck.
Thanks Nigel! It’s ok, life throws challenges at us, we’ll win in the end 😁 I’m voting with my feet haha! Take care 👍🏻
It's ridiculous how you can sneak in for free. I say sneak but I'm dubious that they don't see these people coming. It's a small area to police and would save us millions if they did.
But if you're genuine you have to pay through the nose.
I could go on 😀
Hahaha just look out from Dover or on Tiktok 😂😂
Don't we already pay the French 100s of millions to do that for us? 😂 It's fine - it's become the catalyst for me to pack up and leave! 👍🏻
The problem politicaly is meet people who vent thier anger at hows things currently are, then when you tell them well dont worry thier an election again soon , most are qucik to respond " o i dont vote " .....?......?????? It carnt be that bad then i reply
Hence why I’m voting with my feet 🙏🏻 I don’t trust Keir Starmer to do any better and we can’t wait that long 😊
And for the first time I couldn't vote at the last election because I didn't have photo ID.
Great minds 😂
You guys have Trump to thank. He started the zenophobia and all of the industrialized nations followed our example! Good luck to you, your wife is beautiful!
Them Senile Pedophile voters hardly miss the chance to out themselves 😁
Trump set uk immigration policy ?? Thats a new one
Only wearing a hoodie 🤔 that's sure to protect ya arms ect 😏
It's a motorcycling hoodie 😉 Abrasive resistant but doesn't cope well in the cold UK summer! 😂
@@PGTripsMedia Ahhh right
Thai women do cost a lot of money? You have to pay for them and there whole family? Good luck to you! Hope it all goes well !!
Yes mate. I paid her village 4 buffalos, 12 pigs, 25 chickens and built them a well for her hand in marriage. I now pay her family 20,000 baht a month to keep her. 🤣 Thanks for the well wishes 🙏🏻
@@PGTripsMedia lol 😂 you got a bargain then!
WTF? Your married & still having immigration issues.
I thought uf you're married to a citizen who'd been born in that country who were ok.You have a beautiful wife. That's disgusting how they treating you & your leg issues shouldn't be a issue you can't work & would be on a disability benefit
or similar should count as income.Another thing you could try is to return to work for 6months & try again & 6months will fly by & you'd be better off in the UK in the long run with free Health Care & Welfare etc.Really being a citizen you should be able to be unemployment benefit & marry a foriegn national without having to jump through hoops.
🙏🏻
Royal Enfields are cheep in Thailand
Found a 2021 model for £2400 the other day!
Same situation here in the US. Over 3,000,000 illegal aliens in just under 3 years. Hold Fast.
move to the U.S..
I prefer Thailand 🙏🏻
That's absolutely disgusting about the visa for your wife, yeah tell her to get a boat over save 15k all the best
Ps your Thai wife probably gets a job and pays UK tax unlike Rishi's bint.😮
Ps - you're correct.
Our country is f…..d period .
An absolute shame, but true 😔
Leave! Go over there!
👍🏻😎

My local MP doesn't care about things like that unfortunately. He's a Sunak boy and you won't get further than his assistants if you try.
