very nice roads - quite similar to the scenery in the Wicklow mountains, Ireland - love touring through the mountains and the Interceptor is well able for it
Nice ride again. The building on the corner, where you turned left after crossing the bridge, is Ty Isaf, reputedly the oldest building in the village, now being the National Trust shop. My wife was the shop manager there 2010-2012. You told the story well, but that is exactly what it is……a story. The village wasn’t named after the tragic story, but was a very good marketing strategy by a business man a long long time ago 😂. Sorry to be a spoiler, there’s always one 🙄😎.
Thanks Ian! Yes, most likely true. The grave was apparently built by a hotel owner long after the purported tale occurred to drum up business! Imagine if he could have known people would still be turning up in 2023 because of his famous tale! Hence the use of words like “story”, “it is said” and “apparently”. Despite my accent I’m from 20 minutes away 🤣 What a pleasure to have worked in that beautiful village for two years 😄 Thanks for commenting again, Ian 🙏🏻
@@PGTripsMedia while my wife was there, as well as being campsite warden at the farm, I was also caretaker at Craflwyn Hall, which would have been on your right just before dropping into Beddgelert. We did enjoy our time there, but my job was only ever going to be temporary, so when my contract was up, we moved on. Keep the rides coming, you are doing a great job.
I moved to Wales just 4 year's ago and have to say nothing better than riding the roads of Snowdonia!
As you may imagine, I completely agree with you on that one Mark! Heading into the Cambrian mountains next to see how they compare 😎 Cheers mate 👍🏻

Yes, believe they’re out of Porthmadog now 🤔 Which may be part of the journey I’m about to set off on 😬😎
