Something in the way he tutors. Attracts me like no other teacher. Something in the way...he strums his guitar. I don't want no other tutor. He makes it easy somehow.
Ok Bro Mike .. I always wanted to play guitar and now i am sneaking up to 67 years young... I am thanking God that i can play this song and now i am going to buy a geetar for myself.. I am so exited that i can play this song and thats dope like my 25 year old Jesse would say ... I am a late bloomer in life... Retired secondary school and i am presently studying to be a Spirit filled Pastor... You my friend are an excellent teacher... God bless you and your family and keep you safe. Brother Tom from Dundas, Ontario..
OMG! Thank you so much. I'm a 49-year-old dad and bought my 16-year-old daughter a guitar we've been playing riffs but this is something we actually both can play thank you so much can't wait to teach her.
This is the best video on the internet! I'm 50 years old. I've been talking about playing guitar for the past 30 years and finally- I can play an entire song!! Thank you
I remember watching this a year ago when I first started to learn guitar, and being able to play this and astonish everyone with my guitar skills motivated me to learn more, and just being able to play anything really inspired me. Thanks for your phenomenal lessons Mike.
I'm subscribing to you because you are an excellent teacher. I am an absolute beginner at all this and I watched a lot of tutorials only to be utterly frustrated by the end, all because most of them teach like as if all their students are already well versed with the guitar. It felt like an absolute beginner like me has no place for their tutorials and I truly felt left out from it which frustrated me to no end. But you on the other hand is the only one who taught me the BEST WAY for a beginner to learn the guitar. You don't know how absolutely happy I was when I finally learned a song I could actually play on the guitar. Thank you so much!
I've playind guitar for going on 50 years and I have to admit I've never seen this approach to this tune...I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard because I had to grab a guitar.....well done my friend and thanks !!!
Havent played in 40 years (and did not play well then) . Had my sons friend over with his guitar, and an hour later, I could play this. Fingers hurt LoL. Thank you !!
@@MPfrance I think this kind of lesson is perfect for beginners because in my experience being able to play a recognisable song early on, albeit very simple, encourages and motivates learners better than anything else. Learning from scratch and learning your scales from a book is great but playing a song after two days imbues a feeling of accomplishment that is highly gratifying.
I've been binging on your Beatles videos for last few days and I've got to say this collection you have done is a little masterpiece on its own right. Thank you so much for doing this. The big for me is being in awe over the chord work of Lennon, the composition, and your playing it all with such ease. Yes they were geniuses for sure, you're damn good too.
Great intro and teaching for a beginner.👏👏 Choosing the right key for minimal finger positioning and chord progression is a master stroke! 👌 Ok, serious Beatles fans may poke holes, but this is for a rookie, and it sounded pretty close. Wonderful teaching, subscribed.
Excellent tutorial for a beginner player. I was so excited to play it. My wife told me keep practicing even my finger hurt. Btw. I like to continue practicing different cords Thanks for sharing such a nice and helpful video. You are rock👍👍
God bless you and your channel. I'm stugent from Russia, and I'm beginner. So, I'm really impressed by your video and this is amazing! Thank you VERY much!
Good job Mike. I teach kids to play guitar and I'm happy to have found your videos. This should be the first song to teach children because it's so easy for them to understand and play. Thanks so much. From Belize.
Dear Mike, your charm and drive in this tutorial is absolutely mind blowing ! I could not resist watching it all. I will share it with my kids to let them have some fun! Thanks a lot once again. Amazing.
Im a Beatles fan, but I'm not that very skilled at the guitar yet. "Something" is actually my favourite song and I really wanted to find an easy tutorial without barré chords. And this video was perfect for that! Thank you for giving such an easy tutorial to impress me and my friends! Love y'all and stay safe pls
I’m 13 and my dad and I have always loved guitar. I haven’t played in over a year but saw this video and just had to try it! Thank you so much, I now regret ever quitting playing.
Listen Mike you're so cute with that childish smile...so adorable makes me wonna hug you. You can see that you genuinely enjoying your self and it's just...hugable. and thanks for the song. it's great
Hi Mike played this for my wife and she couldn't believe that i learnt this in such a short time. im 61 years old and just starting my journey thanks again keep up the good work
Wow sweet easy lesson for the slow leaner guy as I am who really want to play guitar with The Beatles' songs!! Thank so much Mr. Musix, you are much helpful!!! God bless you!!!
I'm a beginner guitarist and a Beatles fan. I'm having trouble in a few spots of the tutorial, but I know with practice that I'll get better. I'm looking forward to showing my son how to play the song so he and I can play it for my Dad who is also a Beatles fan. Thank you for the video and making it easy to learn a Beatles song.
I have been a follower and a fan of yours for many years now and I just want you to know how much I enjoy watching your videos. The funny thing about it is I cannot play a chord on guitar. You inspire me to want to learn how to play. In my mind I believe I would hold the guitar the way Paul McCartney would hold it. I believe this because whenever I would play air guitar I would play the way Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney would play. I have never taken a formal lesson. I am a self-taught drummer with very limited skill. When I watch your instructional videos I feel like I'm in your studio and you're talking to me. You seem to be one of the nicest people on RUclips and one of the most sincere. I did not know that you were friends with Phil Keaggy and you did an album together! Phil Keaggy is also a Beatles fanatic! I got to see Phil Keaggy when I lived in South Florida in a small Church concert venue. I just want you to know that I am a big fan of your RUclips channel Mike. I wish you and your family all the best for health and happiness and prosperity and I will continue to watch because I love the material that you present! One day I will buy a guitar and I will learn a few Beatles songs to play to my grandchildren none yet however! Best regards John
Appreciate you brother. I know this video is a little old but I’m a first responder and chaplain and need a little R&R sometimes and music is my stress relief. Thank you for guiding me. Favorite Beatle song and always wanted to learn to play it. Thank you, and God Bless
This is why i like to browse the tube here, when i started mine was Tom Dooley and this is Exactly how to start playing guitar been at it for 45 years, great lesson
Mike, I passed this along to people I know who would really be motivated to try this... I think you’ve got something here.... I learned “little brown jug” in 1958...not the same
What fun! I’m relearning playing guitar after 25 years (due to injury). So between painfully endless practice of the F, this will be a kick to relax those fingers and my head! Thanks Mike!
I'm a Hip Hop artist engineer producer ...I mix in the box ..... I have played been learning blues on my acoustic...I'm obviously not a beginner but far from a player...I usually play digital instruments like vst s ..super huge beatles fan ...since I was born ...rip to my pops....seen ur vids many times ...but this was amazing ....keep up the great work mike ! You got my sub !!!!
Hey Mike! I looked you up because I was a fan of V32 in the 80s and called in to your show with my BF Lisa more than once. Fond memories. Glad to see you're still doing cool stuff. 😁
Hi! Mike, I´m glad I stumbled on your channel specially this particular Beatles song. I was just looking for easy guitar tutorial lessons for Beatles songs in particular (I´m a big fan) and your way of teaching & showing the simple & easy yet effective chords for the song has inspired & motivates me to learn to play my NEW guitar which was given to me as a Birthday present a year ago & I haven´t played it since I last open its case on my Bday! It was a ¨miss the hint¨ kind of present coz I would have wanted a piano keyboard instead. I wasn´t keen on playing the guitar, YET. I played a ukulele though. And ironically, all my three bros played guitar well & one of my sister. So, I supposed I just have to make an effort to master some crowd pleaser songs👏as I´m just a newbie!😊Thanks Mike for sharing your excellent simplicity of guitar tutorial lessons. You really encourages me to start playing & practicing my NEW guitar! I shall give you an update on how I getting on. Thanks once again❣🙏
I've been a bit of a Beatle Homer since watching the McCartney 321 with Rick Rubin Doc. Paul was just so good in that! It makes you realize even now, just how amazing a musician he and the other 3 were. Great video! Certainly going to play it! 😀
Love it Mike! Like you say... "Wow, I didn't know you knew how to play the guitar" It's a start for a 64 year old guy. I can play for my 2 kids and the 5 grandkids.
I play piano, but most of the songs I want to play are made for guitar, so yesterday I finally decided to begin playing guitar and this is awesome if you just started playing!
I'm a seasoned guitarist and ......I loved this video,@Mike Pachelli why you say if you know how to play guitar don't watch basically? LOL I thought was great, Well done!
Hey Mike, thanks a lot. I've only been playing guitar about 4 months and I loved your lesson on this great song. Been a Beatles fan all my life. I first learned this the one finger way then went to full chords. I love it. My very first Beatles song! I will be checking out your site for more songs. I'm especially a Lennon fan....great rhythm guitarist! Thanks again.
As a guitar player for almost 20 years, I’m not ashamed to admit that I still watched this video in its entirety. Something in the way he tutors. 🤘🏽😉
Mike does a great job!
I see what you did, there.
Something in the way he tutors. Attracts me like no other teacher. Something in the way...he strums his guitar. I don't want no other tutor. He makes it easy somehow.
ifreemantoo I think what we have here is online Bromance. 😂
Ralphy Mendiola samee!!😂
This simplicity actually says a lot about the elegant structure of the song... !
haha, I thought the same!

I will teach my grandkids
How did it go
Teach them the ways of the great beatles
Your grandkids have an amazing grandma
This guy makes you want to play the guitar. He does that to me and his enthusiasm for all Beatles' songs beats anyone I know .
I love how much fun you're having in the tutorial and how much you're hyping it up 😂 it sounds great 👌 really nice for beginners to play quickly.
Agree!
He's tickled by the fact that he's teaching a talentless hack like me to dazzle people at a campfire. It is rather hilarious.
OMG! Thank you so much. I'm a 49-year-old dad and bought my 16-year-old daughter a guitar we've been playing riffs but this is something we actually both can play thank you so much can't wait to teach her.

I've playind guitar for going on 50 years and I have to admit I've never seen this approach to this tune...I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard because I had to grab a guitar.....well done my friend and thanks !!!

Been playing for 58 years enjoyed the video, sometimes you forget the simple things, great stuff
Simple but ingenious, it reminds me of Paul's version on the ukelele.thanks Mike
Havent played in 40 years (and did not play well then) . Had my sons friend over with his guitar, and an hour later, I could play this. Fingers hurt LoL. Thank you !!
Thank you for the tutorial. My second day on guitar and can already play this, feels amazing!
That's GREAT!! You are exactly the kind of person I did this lesson for!!!
