The thing is over here in Europe we only ever had one colour of Antifreeze since the mid 90s, the orange stuff, for all Ford vehicles. I never understood the need for 4 different specs in North America.
Now I might be wrong on this isn't there only two types of antifreeze one being green which I consider the universal, and the other being dextrose if I recall correctly which is for GM Chevrolet Buick whatever vehicles which is red
There's 3 greens, they changed the formula to be basically dexcool for everyone even the green. The old green is being eliminated for ecological reasons
Extended life coolant you mean? Although it is good coolant , these buses are under warranty so if anything were to happen , we wouldn’t want a coolant contamination to be the compromising point to the warranty
@@Mechaniclyfe yes and no, I literally mean diesel coolant for like semi trucks, whether it says long life or not doesn't matter to me, I'll get it at ollies for 8?/ gallon whereas the cheapest automotive coolant concentrate is I want to say 12/gallon. I've mixed coolant my entire life as they've never made coolant that can't be soluble in another coolant. Warranty issues are a special case where I'd use the specified coolant but I never do dealership work.
My 2018 f250 seems to have different colors in engine cooling system and emisions cooling system and then same thing, refill with a 3rd that doesn’t match either of those😂

The color is dye, has no effect to the coolant Performance.
Does it even matter though? And if so, knock that shit off and make every bottle of antifreeze cimpatible with every car
Put. In 150 k green and send it out..the better 150 k is ok for alum

Because it’s premixed , if you add water it will no longer be a 50/50 mix , therefore effectiving its boiling point and freezing point as well
