I use Race Beyond Matter settings for iRacing. And it made that wheel base come alive. The stock settings for iRacing are okay. But they feel dull once you try his settings
Been searching for this video for about a week! Thank you so much, got my alpha ultimate (from a Logitech wheel) and it’s a bit overwhelming. But damn it feels so much better
You are very welcome, great to hear you are already loving it despite the overwhelming nature of it all! That will only get better with time. Enjoy it!😊
Maybe it's just me, but I still don't get the benefit of low wheel rotation speed. I might be wrong, but by definition, you're simply reducing your chances of catching a slide, as you're not allowing the wheel to change direction at full speed, right? I can't imagine any benefit apart from maybe reducing some noises, but that's what smoothness and feedback frequency do without compromising the rotation speed. Could someone please explain it?
to catch the slade is better to prevent the slide happened . to catch the slide is better to know h how did you cause that 😊for 15 is best place to with alpha u
WRS is a very tricking setting. Ive been on the Simagic discord page and alot of people run this setting at 0-30. I'm always experimenting with this setting and I currently have mine set to 0 it kind of gives that feeling of weight transfer of the car from left to right. I also feel with the lower numbers for this setting you can feel more when the rear of the car is starting to kick out at least thats what im feeling. I would love to hear your opinion on this subject since FFB settings is a very subjective topic. I'm a new SUB BTW Cheers !!
With the Simagic Alpha Mini I find Force Feedback Detail above 10 gives massive coil whine especially after a race even when the game is no longer running, rebooting the base lowers to how it was before the game... maybe the Alpha is better in this regard.
@@FOGDaheee it does make me wonder if it's faulty, quite a few on the simagic discord have mentioned it but the suggestion was it was firmware related and likely patched in the future... mine has been like it since new in January
I have the same problem with my Alpha Mini Mate. After 30 minutes of driving, it makes a noise and I can feel the vibration coming through the steering wheel. It's annoying. And my Alpha mini gets very hot when I play ACC. Almost 60C.
@@easybreeze1 I have alpha u since july 2022, i think it is faulty cant run feedback detail higher than 1 or any road settings or fx setting in ams2 its just weird vibration all over the place
I am in the Fanatec world, but I know there are some Simagic guys out there. Not useful for me, but that is okay. We need more sim racing channels. Inside Sim Racing was so good and then it collapsed. The Simpit is still struggling along. They angered Fanatec when Jack and Sim Racing Girl came out to do a big release looking unprofessional. That hurt them. Sim Racing Paddock never really got going, got a restart and then he died. Traxxion GG was good, then it got shut down. Hopefully this gets its feet under it. That will require you to cover everything from Forza, GT7, to EA Sports WRC, iRacing, the new LeMans game... Lots of irons in the fire and maybe... Good luck. I'll be watching.
*presumably* this is hands down the best explanation of wheel rotation speed I've ever seen

Did you manage to solve the problem of the oscillation effect?
@@paul.antareslol add friction dampening 😂
also reduce wheel speed
@@AL.farmlife thanks, I'll try
Thanks for explaining!

Nice information
Any chance of a moza guide?
Dd wheel base software gives me choice paralysis

How about you just reduce your maximum wheel rotation lock to 270 degrees? Should be very easy to catch slides.

Well explained and detailed! Thanks! Now I just need to buy my Alpha base 😂
Thanks very much! Hopefully it will give you a starting point once you get your hands on one. Enjoy🔥

Run my Mini on 13 and don't have any coil whine. Maybe it's some other setting that's causing this?
