  • Hello and welcome to the first part of a brand new mini-series!
In this series, John runs you through the various force-feedback and wheel settings available to adjust in the SimPro Manager software. In this first part, we look at steer settings and presets, with a big focus on understanding steering angle adjustments. Check out the chapters at the bottom of this description to find the specific settings you are looking for!
Keep your eyes peeled in the coming week for parts 2 and 3, covering basic FFB, vehicle, and mechanical settings.

Very instructive video. One of the things I can't get working in SimPro Manager is getting ABS/TC/Pit/Flags warnings assigned to the buttons on the Simagic Neo wheel. Any help?

Nice! I upgraded from an r12 to an Alpha U a few days ago. The settings are a bit different and I haven’t had the time or patience to test them out properly.

Hopefully you will find this series saves you a bit of time then! Parts 2 and 3 later in the week with the main FFB settings so keep an eye out 🙂

Great video, didn't know about the Hard lock function! Do you use these Basic and Mechanical settings? If I used that my Alpha would probably melt down 😂 i use 85%, 15Nm, and 5% Mech. Friction and Damper and it's almost untouchable after 4-5 45min IMSA races with GTP in a row.

“Lemon Ultimate” or as I like to call it “Ultimate lemon”
PS. Smart marketing, creating hype for simagic while its out of stock 😅.
Are u able to share how many units do you usually restock ? Alpha mini went from one backorder to another one 😅

I just turned off ALL of the simpro manager settings, and my simagic alpha has come alive. previously I used race beyond matters' suggested settings, and the comparison between then, and now with ZERO settings is ten times better. it allows the sim itself to communicate the information a lot more efficiently

I'll try this out as ive been using his settings for a couple of months, theyre great despite the wheel moving on straights when letting go of the wheel

I've always said this. No matter the wheel. Let the game show you it's FFB with zero 3rd party software. Then adjust accordingly.

Just in case someone have oscilations on straigths: in my case (Alpha Mini) setting friction, dampers, detail and especially Wheel Rotation Speed at 0 gives the most realistic feeling and eliminates oscilation completely. The wheel basically takes raw ffb from the game, which is already quite detailed (at least in AC). Adding additional multiplayers like Wheel Rotation Speed makes everyting more twitchy, unstable and artificial

I have the aplha mini and on streets my wheel is doing these little mini turns and I think it’s my centering is off but I guess this is it?

This! I've been using this setting for months now and is by far the best feeling I've had with my alpha mini for AC. I mostly do highway racing, drifting and touge.

@@aphaeSeens ypu do drifting what setting you use to be able to smoother down steering rotation..is seems to be too fast do catch steering at transitions

@@thereaper6329 In the simpro manager: 100% Force Feedback and 10.0NM Max Torque, everything under is 0 or 0%. Don’t mess with the “Other Effects” section, leave it as is. Angle: 900 (Firm).
      In content manager:
      Controls -> FFB
      Gain: 100%, Filter: 0%, Min Force: 0%
Effects: 5% Road Effect & Slip Effect, the rest should be at 0%
Post Processing: Center boost gain 0%, range 10%
Lower speed FFB reduction: Threshold 3km/h, strength 1% (This helps keep the wheel from going crazy or vibrating too much on idle/neutral)
When driving on the road or any racing course, I keep my in-game FFB to 60-80. When drifting, 45-55.
When drifting more realistic car packs like zero culture or excite, there will be settings you have to enable in CSP. They usually tell you in the car’s description
Let me know how it goes 🍻
