I get the feeling Niobe knew that even if both the Hammer and Logos somehow made it to Zion in time, they would never survive. Neo’s plan to go to the Machine City was a shot in the dark, but Niobe was willing to it if it remotely did anything to help Zion’s survival.
Collecting as many ships as possible to fight is just repeating what happened in the past five hundred years. Going to machine city is the groundbreaking one
Niobe knew Zion was doomed. One more ship wasn’t going to change the outcome. It was going to take a miracle to save Zion. And thats what she bet on. The chance for a miracle. Even if she didn’t fully believe in it herself.
Morpheus: You have never believed in the one. Niobe: I still don't. Morpheus: Then why are you doing this? Niobe: I believe in him. “This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13, 35).”
That was pretty cool. I thought the intercutting between scenes and overlapping monologues worked great well and were the best in terms of sound mixing that I've seen so far on this channel. Well done!
Me: You believe in the One. Niobe: No. Morpheus: She has never believed in the One. Niobe: Still don't. Morpheus: Then why are you doing this? Niobe: I believe in HIM. (Looks at Neo.) Me: ... Yeah, so like I said. You believe in the One. Trinity: Oh for fuck's sake.
Maybe its a joke but i still want to clarify something. "The One" is more of a religious term. "He will come and save us all bla bla bla..." Niobe dont believes in fairy tales. She believes in people. Thats why she said that...
There are only two things that consists of in this world. 1- Energy 2- Matter. 1- Heat 2- Cold. 1- Emotion 2- Logic. 1- The dream world 2- The real world. 1- The malleable 2- The dense. 1-The feminine 2- The masculine. 1- The body 2- The brain. 1- The subconscious 2- The conscious. 1- The Ying 2- The Yang. 1-The breakdown 2- the reformation. And everything that consists of this world has these two elements that work together like two half’s of an infinity ♾ looping to one another as the low to the above and as the above to the low. Fueling our existence and the existence of our environment.
As much as I enjoyed the original Matrix, it’s scenes like this one that disappointed me about the sequels. Tired motifs like Experienced Military Guy saying, “that wont work!” quickly followed by, “do it on your own time but not with my equipment…” are all over the place in the sequels. You can almost hear the police captain say, “around here we do things by the book!” The Matrix was so original it didnt have to resort to things like that. I know its difficult to stay cutting edge but I wish there weren’t so many cliches. Still a great franchise tho. I hope the new movie is good.
No, this scene is needed. It shows how the Machines are controlling the humans. Neither Niobi nor Neo are traitors to the humanity yet they're both are corrupted by the Oracle's manipulation. They're fighting the war against very machines that are trying to take their freedom, yet they're acting on their whims in this scene. The Oracle wouldn't tell anyone to do exactly as told, she'll make it look like they made the choice themselves, there was a point in previous scenes where the purpose of the baked cookies was to distract Sati. Slowly but surely the humans affected by this prophecy come in agreement that the machines are needed to the humans just as the Oracle states otherwise. The Hammer's captain reacts as any unaffected would: with disbelief and anger.
I've been watching these remixed videos the past couple days, and these edits are very well done! Props to you

I've done my research and confirmed it Niobe is the Oracle or at least the Embodiment of her ..

I always felt the spot they were talking about going to used to be Morpheus and niaomi bangin spot
All these times , The Oracle was manipulating them and pushing them like chess pieces
She was trying the break the cycle of Zion getting destroyed and needing to start over.
Yes @MIogan and her words affected Neo's actions

Yeah I never really realized how diverse the cast of these movies were
The last remnants (or so we're told) of the human race.
Anyone else watched this movie and got a clear vision of their destiny ?
@ring of fire Underrated comment .... you're very wise, sir.
@audiochannel3228 there wouldn’t be much of a story without any problems.

It’s a family movie for cool families. You’re family is obviously boring af. Likely religious and probably secretly gay.
