Wrath of the Lich King is nearly over - Cataclysm Classic is soon to arrive. And although WotLK certainly a pleasure to reexperience, I don't think any can deny that it wasn't exactly the expansion for Classic World of Warcraft we were hoping for. Lich King was plagued with problems since the beginning, it seemed; so many people felt that WotLK was lackluster and a total disaster. So what went wrong?
In this video, Nixxiom goes into what exactly went wrong with Wrath, as well as sharing his final thoughts on the expansion. May the good memories live on! Arthas will always be the one true king.

See you all in Cataclysm!
The #3 reason why WOTLK didn't do so well.... MOUNTAIN BIKERS. FREAKING MOUNTAIN BIKERS.
wrath sucks
I LOVE THE WOW TOKEN^^
Sorry for the loss of your dog, you gave her a wonderful life, stay strong
❤
Really sorry to hear about Lucy, my condolences.
in my opinion, the elitism killed Wrath Classic. Nobody wanted to even kill the Lich king even like a month later into ICC. GDKPs ruined the fuck out of this as well. Everybody became greedy for loot and gold. Nobody wanted to kill Lich King like I always intended to do since I was 10. I finally got my chance now... but very sour because raiders would get mad over the littlest of things and always blamed DPS. I just wanted to kill the lich king. Unnecessary guild drama and GDKPs on top of everything else just soured it for me
Exactly this. Hyper-competitive environment with a bunch of jaded boomers. All I wanted is to finish what I couldn’t as a kid which was the LK kill. Barely got one in and almost never want to come back to the game
Gdkps are honestly great though… ignore all of the gold… the raids actually get cleared and pretty smoothly.
This problem had been there since Vanilla Classic released tbf. And other people had done WoTLK and other expansion like 10 years++ by now so yeah it make sense people doesn't really hyped for the LK kill and just want to get the loot.
Rest in Peace, Lucy. It's always so hard to know that we are taking of a creature which we will (most likely) outlive and that grief is inevitable, but we ultimately wouldn't change a thing.
My condolences for your loss Nixxiom. That memorial to her looks absolutely fantastic. I hope you're able to heal quickly ❤
I am so sorry to hear about Lucy. She was an adorable dog from every time I watched her on stream. Best to you Nixxiom. Proud to say I watch you since 2015. Love from Portugal 💟
Thank you.
The biggest reason I stopped playing wrath classic, was the huge amount of elitism. If you weren't the perfect spec, or perfect gear, good luck getting a group.
The meta. Yes. No one cared during original Wrath, be friendly and don't die, everything is good. Now, if you are one talent point off the meta, kicked and blocked.
@@critterwyatt Not trying to be a contrarian and start a huge argument, but I just want to push back on that a bit. At least on my server, original Wrath still hand plenty of gatekeeping and elitism; gear score add-ons were first coming out and every PUG raid required you to link them your GS and achievements to prove you already cleared the raid you were trying to PUG. People would absolutely inspect your talents and give you shit if things were off, hell, I did that as well. Point is, there's always been gatekeeping and elitism in these games, and most players were acutely aware of a meta and enforced it regularly. I'm sure it's gotten worse over the years, but to portray original Wrath as very informal and friendly seems quite inaccurate. In general the WoW playerbase has tended to be much more elitist and hostile than other MMORPGs, and this was especially noticeable in the early days when many players were migrating from other, earlier MMORPGs. This has been true since Classic; it's the Battle.net experience. WoW players might have been a *bit* nicer than the average Warcraft III player, but not by much.
The SoD launch killed my guilds drive to raid, having the servers go down on what was our last raid night before the ICC buffs were added. But we reformed in SoD and are having an amazing time
Bro you are dreaming if you think people would continue to raid for a whole year of wrath with nothing in-between...are you serious, SoD never killed raiding and you should be thankful there is at least something to play this summer instead of logging into an inevitable dead wrath.
@@666evo666 SoD is pretty dead. I don't mean the playerbase but rather the nonexistent content. Gnomeregan is as easy as a dungeon so there's no good raid, PvP is unbalanced and STV is just a group only event with bad rewards after one day of doing it. SoD is as dead as WoTLK to me.
You listed all the reasons why I dont play SoD any more, Era is best SSF mode.@@icebox1954
Totally agree with you! @cptthaldier4726
Alot might be haters, but they forget that SOD is a SEASONAL server for TESTING, it is not a new expansion where you can expect a shitton of new content.. This is for the classic andys
@@666evo666I love ICC… but even pugging for a few months I got near BIS and kinda was like… eh this is good enough
Aw, so sorry to hear about Lucy, Nixxiom.
She'll always live on in your memories.
Thanks for the video.
WotLK classic was a blast! I had an amazing time on my ret/prot pally. I made some amazing friends along the way! I'm excited to keep raiding in Cataclysm classic!
Same here, even play pally as well just ret/holy
WotLK's biggest enemy was SoD
I think WotLK had a lot of enemies. But SoD was certainly a big one.
SoD kek it's just a worse version of existing pservers mate. Where do you think Blizzard got the ideas for all the stuff in SoD? And they can't even implement them well compared to the pservers.
Wrath died off long before SOD, i had a lot of fun leveling through all the zones and gearing up. I got bis for naxx and just wasn’t feeling it at all. Just wasn’t classic anymore.
SoD eviscerated an enemy it didn’t know it had
@@EdyGlockenspielok?
the reason why I quit is that my server became very unpopulated and the only Ulduar (at the time the only raid with Nax) groups were GDKPs
I'm not sure Wrath Classic exactly "failed"... I still had much less problems finding a raid at most times of the day than in the original Wrath (probably because much less servers now?).
For me, there are several other reasons as well, some of which probably tie in with the WoW Token:
(not sure if these first two are specific problems on German servers or if you have them in the US as well)
1. GDKP:
In the original Wrath, I never ONCE encountered a GDKP raid. Now in Wrath Classic it's all over the LFG channel every day! This probably ties in with the bots (and buying gold on shady services) and the WoW Token, since both enable you to whip out your credit card, go into a GDKP raid and just straight up BUY the BIS equipment.
2. GearScore & Logs:
In the original Wrath, there was a little bit of GearScore shenanigangs going on in the end but I don't remember any logging (except maybe Recount). Nowadays on Wrath Classic, almost every LFG message includes something like "LFM ICC25 11/12 HC, 6k+ GS, logs will be checked, 12/12 HC XP required!" gate-keepery. Of course, you'll get every single "turn with arrow keys" kind of GDKP-equipped, 6k GS touting 12yo with access to mom's credit card this way, which makes these PUGs super fun! (actually, the log check part may help against that a little... 🤔) Still, unless you attended every new raid on the very first week it comes out, you won't have any logs for it and will have a hard time being accepted into any PUG from week 2 onwards. Same problem for twinks, since you obviously forget all the tactics when you log onto your alt, because if the alt itself doesn't have logs: "Sorry, we can't invite you". 🤣
3. I'm older and got a job now
Main point probably for most people who played original Wrath back in the days?? Back then, I was a student. I could just raid all night until 4 am and then just not attend my lectures, no problem. Now in Wrath Classic, I (and a lot of the other guys I raid with atm) are older, need more sleep and gotta get up at 4 am to go to work. Much less time to invest in WoW and raiding/farming/etc.
Still, I really enjoyed Wrath Classic overall! And I'm looking forward to playing Cata for the first time, since I quit WoW back when it originally came out.
The GDKPs I tanked for were all very smooth due to the people being log vetted…
I’m so sorry to hear about Lucy. We just lost our dog of 6 1/2 years two weeks ago. It was very hard for us. I hope both our Sadie and your Lucy are playing together.
Love the vid, take care Nixxiom
Youd think with a vast marching in a single file line characters going the exact same way doing the exact same thing that it would be pretty easy for them to identify what a bot is and what a player is. Guess not.
My condolences on Lucy : (
R.I.P Lucy I will admit I ve never really catch up with your streams so I didn't know about the fact she even existed but it breaks my heart to see an owner and a pet get separated and it hurts more knowing that you had to put her down yourself . May she rest in peace
My brother, I am so sorry for your loss. I really love the memorial you have set up, it’s beautifully done
Also thank you for always being dedicated to the game and telling it like it is. So many have jumped ship to other things, your commitment rocks.
The community once filled with players excited to play the game with others, turned into people who couldn't stand playing with others.
Vast majority of wow player are douches. And cheaters. Also they cry a lot. Players ruin wow.
I find it very comforting to know, so many of us WoW players are more alike than we are different. I am terribly sorry to hear the news of your dog, keep your head up friend, and the Light be with you!
Sorry for the loss of your puppy bro, can see that you cherished her in her days. I haven't touched Blizzard games since I quit in SL but was a nice video as always.
Wrath became the retail version of Classic. Now we’re gonna get the Classic version of retail with Cata Classic.
Im so sorry about Lucy. Im sorry for you loss.
I saw the first big drop in WOTLK classic in Ulduar as well. A lot of people dont talk about it, but the length and difficulty of Ulduar made a lot of people quit. After that, the writing was on the wall that they werent going to make a WOTLK Era realm so i quit and started on Era and Hardcore and have been having a blast!
What?! You mean the most hyped raid of all-time was nostalgia driven??? Shocking.
4:45 this little scene tho! The kneel down into camera frame for effect 🤩Love the effort mate 💪
It really is a shame the way that classic went down through TBC and Wrath, with the cloning cost, the boost and then the token.
But not as sad as the passing of that lovely little dog, this is my first time seeing her but can see a lot just from these short clips. I bet she got lots of love form you and had a very happy life
Thats a great job honoring her aswell 🖤
Loved the new type of format in this Nixxiom!
As someone who mostly is into questing and leveling, I still feel that WotlK is peak WoW. The leveling experience is about the best it ever was with a lot of the improvements made to the old world before Cataclysm replaced it all, and Northrend is an amazing experience. I'm going to miss leveling in old world going back to Classic Era, since everything is just too grindy and too many quests I just have to skip because they're all elite mobs. I've leveled like 5 characters from 1-80 since WotlK classic came out, its great.
Yes true
But most players just cheat and boost which ruins the community.
Sadly blizzard doesn’t stop them probably because it’s like 98% of players doing it. Sad
I had recently got on my lvl 63 DK and I really liked the Outland leveling a lot better. It did this thing where you change zones more frequently and they weren't bloated with quests to the same extent Wrath was. I had 7 70s in TBC, I got 4 characters to 80 in Wrath, and three of them were helped by Joyous Journeys. TBC gave all my toons a Kara Key Quest to do, which was fun and got my toons geared up. The professions felt more valuable in TBC too. The way Wrath is designed, it like needed the dungeon finder right away. TBC's design philosophy was more hardcore, in that your druid tank could easily tank 5 mans, but your warrior, had hell keeping aggro. But yet in raids, the warriors were better. So when I played my warrior, I would start a group and I would try to bring a rogue, a mage, a priest healer, and maybe a hunter or shaman as 5th. Rogues had lots of tools to drop aggro and could cc. Mages could cc and had ice block and also had AoE for certain pulls. Shamans had tremor totem and all their buffs and while they got aggro, they wore mail, so like, it wasn't the end of the world. Priest healers had fade. Hunters could feign death and CC but we know must pug hunters are a gamble. Warlocks got aggro all the time, except when I played my warlock. Especially if they decided to run with that stupid fel guard instead of being infliction or destro. Ret paladins and DPS warriors I avoided bringing, unless I was tanking a druid. In wrath, none of this nuance mattered, so they like needed the dungeon finder from the beginning. Because there is effectively only four roles now, I just stick to my warrior, rogue, mage, and priest. I did come back when the Dungeon finder was introduced and Wrath got a lot better. Cata might be fun if 80-85 doesn't take forever to do.
Really sorry to hear about Lucy's passing Nixxiom, my condolences. Such a beautiful way to honor her! And I liked your outdoor video format. Perhaps you can do that more often?
sorry to hear about Lucy man, that's tough. thoughts and prayers with you brother.
I also had a puppy named Lucy, as a baby lad. My condolences, I wish you patience, healing and more love.
Rest in Peace Lucy so sad we all love our fur babies she will appreciate it and has no pain any more take it easy buddy.
Sorry for the loss of your dog Nixxiom, I know the pain of losing a best friend, my loss was a cat who lived 17 years ❤
My first time playing wow was a free 48 hour trial back in wrath. I mainly played diablo 2 and had a resentment for wow since it took all my d2 friends away but then I tried the game and thought it was garbage. I barely got to level 5 (I didn't get to use the full 48 hours as I had a part time job) and didn't touch the game again until the end of cata going into mists when my college friends told me to give it another try. I made it to 45 and when no one would come play with me I was leveling solo, I just quit again until siege of orgrimmar when another friend got me to try the game again. This time I made it to lvl 90 on a warlock, and I liked mists story but I started watching videos on the lore to try and appreciate the game a bit more and stumbled onto the lore in wrath and Arthas story. I instantly fell in love with it and made a dk, ground to 90 and started raiding but it always felt hollow, like I should have experienced dks in wrath when they were broken or super strong. I never got to try wrath really, and then fastforward to classic being announced but with the drama and fucked up things actiblizz was doing I just couldn't stomach giving them money again so here I am missing out on what looked like the best expansion for the second time and it's being taken away. I wish they would keep servers for all the expansions so people could still go back and play on them to experience the journey. The journey is why I am currently playing SoD and having a great time, one of the few times in playing wow I have actually had fun with the game since Legion playing off and on.
I rarely comment on videos but I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Lucy... Thank you for the great video! I wish you nothing but the best and hope you continue healing from your loss.
So sorry for your loss of Lucy. I also recently lost our dog of 15.5 years, I can understand how difficult it is. They are such a huge part of our lives. But you made her a wonderful memorial, and hopefully building it has helped you to reflect on all of the good times you had together.
RIP lil Lucy! 😢 I'm sorry for your loss, Nixxiom. You'll meet her again someday ❤
As for WotLK, I think that the wow token was a big part of the reason why it ultimately failed, but even as I'm leveling my toon for Cataclysm classic, I notice that it's just the same guilds looking to fill raids. No engaging stuff.
Love the new approach being out in the woods!
I did exactly what I had hoped for in wotlk. Back in the day I only achieved level 80 when togc was in full swing and actually started raiding in icc. I was made to believe that I missed out on naxx and especially Ulduar. This time around I experienced the whole progression, from naxx to icc, including achieving kingslayer with Valanyr equipped.
Not to be contrarion, just an anecdote.
Thank you for sharing!
AaAAAhhh dude, always love watching you videos, but that last moment... pulled at my heart strings. Sorry for your loss, you gave her a beautiful memorial.
Wrath was a weird one of me, Hands down it was the most excited I've been for a WoW launch in quite some time due to nostalgia and the want to re-experience memories I have from the original release of WotLK, when It dropped I went hard, levelling both my Warrior and my Mage. The honeymoon period was bliss, I felt like I was 15 again, going through all the quest zones, exploring Northrend again - I was having a blast. Shortly after hitting level cap, I cleared naxx and Obsidian sanctum a couple of times, did wintergrasp once or twice, but I found myself losing interest, the raids were a snoozefest. I found myself dipping back into dragonflight and then hardcore, by the time Ulduar, ToTGC & ICC came out I just had no interest in picking it back up. which I regret, Some of my fondest raid memories are in Ulduar, and I wish i had pushed myself to play again. Ultimately I thing Blizz lost sight of what the Classic WoW era games were suppose to be. Also the pacing felt so awkward, the launch and first tier felt so long and dragged out, then the rest felt like break neck pace.
Sorry to hear about Lucy, I hope you are doing okay and I think the grave is a very sweet memorial to her, Good girl is playing the best of games where ever she is.
I don't think Blizzard lost sight of Classic, it's more the players that have made the game not fun
When Classic Vanilla came out I saw it as just a bonus experience, a prelude before the really good stuff comes with TBC and culminates with WotLK - the expansion that I truly looked forward to with Classic, to relive my peak gaming years. But as the years went by, Blizzard showed pretty much no care for their Classic community, let the bots run loose, and finally betrayed it's core integrity with the Dark Portal Pass. My experience had already been soured, and by the time the news of lawsuits, inner state of the company, and WoW Token came out, I've realized that there is no hope for anything good coming with WotLK, and I've decided to let my untainted WotLK experience live in my memories and never even touched the newly released Classic version of it, quitting through late TBC Classic and never touching another Blizzard game since.
Boosting gold buying gdkp ruins classic wow
But all of this is the players. Fault.
Not blizzard.
@@markblaze4909 Blizzard is plenty at fault by not only not putting enough effort into preventing it by detecting and punishing gold sellers / bots, but also by even enabling it through WoW token. In any game players will always break as many rules as they are allowed to get away with.
So sorry to hear about Lucy, I recently lost a pet myself and it's one of the hardest things. Still carrying around a massive debuff. She was so lucky to have you.
Really sorry about your dog. My condolences.
And with Wrath Classic. I first intended to play it religiously. But after some thought, I decided not to. Wrath is my favorite expansion and I hold it so close to my heart, I did not want to risk ruining that playing Wrath classic.
Stay strong Nixxiom. We're all here for you. Thank you for all the amazing content, and we'll all be here to support you as always.
Wrath was amazing, and I had so much fun in classic Wrath, but this second time I focused more on PvE (back then I barely did any raids) so the experience was considerably different.
I didn’t expect to cry watching this. Damn brother my heart goes out to you. It’s never an easy thing saying goodbye to a dear friend❤️
So sorry for your loss. You must have loved her so much. You gave her a beautiful gravestone. RIP Lucy.
hope you are well brother, so sorry for your'e loss.
damn bro... i did not see the message coming, i sadly dont always watch your streams. But from a brother to one other, I wish you the best of luck with the mourning of Lucy. She shall be missed by all, most by you and your familly. You always come over as a sweet and funny guy, and by the looks of lucy's happy face, i think she enjoyed you also! you gave her the best life i think she could wish for. thank you man! for being so honest and open! yet again, my condolences my guy. peace
sorry for your loss, felt this one to my core. my dog is also named Lucy.
Wrath classic for me was a prime example of why no changes was so popular in tbc and vanilla classic.
My condolences Nixxiom. I know exactly how hard it is. I'm a huge dog lover too, and I lost two due to illness, way too early about two years ago. I still mourn them. Stay strong man ❤
Damn man.. you talking about the death of Lucy while Invincible was playing in the background. Really brought me to tears. My deepest condolences. Keep going brother!
The moment ToGC released i got so bored with Wotlk that i ended up giving a try to retail (Dragonflight) for the first time and i havent regret at all. It's been a blast honestly.
Sorry for you loss! Truly heartbreaking and you got me crying for Lucy :(
My deepest condolences. All dogs gift us with unparalleled love and affection. In return, all dogs are gifted with a special place in heaven. I hope you may find some solice knowing she rests easy in heaven.
Hey man, sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our dog a month ago, and we're still not over it. Hang in there.
I'm sorry for your loss brother. From the pieces of her life that we've seen, I can guarantee she wouldn't have had a better life with anyone else. RIP Lucy 🐶❤
Loosing your pet can be really heartbreaking, and i wish you the best nixxiom.
Just remember how amazing it was to meet them and the pain is brutal but worth it for every moment you have had with them. Also not sure if this helps but 2 weeks ago today I had a little girl my first child and her name is Lucy too ❤️
I've been watching your channel for as long as I remember and it was always amazing seeing Lucy in videos. My condolences to you.
Much luv to Lucy homie 🙏🏽my prayers are with ya, and amazing video homie 💯
Sorry to hear about Lucy, Nixxiom still remember those vlogs when I was a wee lad.
Sorry about your loss man.
Stay strong Nixx.
Dude, the invincible music with the announcement hits hard, sorry for your loss.
Dog lover here. I am so sorry for your loss my man. I am loving on my baby while watching this, and I cannot imagine the heartbreak. Stay strong brother
So sorry for your loss. You are an amazing person, I can tell merely by the grave you made. RIP Lucy.
Sorry for your loss, may Lucy rest in piece!
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I have a golden retriever myself and he is the GOODEST boy. I just can't even fathom the idea of him not being here forever with me. typing this out makes me wanna cry,.
Sorry for your loss. When we lost our boxer we grieved the same as loosing someone in the family because they are family. She is still on my mind and she has been gone for over a year now.
I feel like the Cataclysm Classic announcement was a large reason WotLK lost popularity too. For me at least, seeing that WotLK was going to end soon made me unmotivated to keep playing classic. Like others, I feel like Cata is not classic. If they made a WotLK-era server and let people clone characters like they did for vanilla, I think a lot of people would be interested in that.
Wrath was completely fine..
First off - RIP Lucy, sorry for your loss brother.
To follow up, while I do agree with your pointers as being negative to the game, I'd like to make a clear distinction:
YES, bots were and have been bad in Wrath, and the RMT that follows, however botting and RMT were rampant during 2019 Classic and TBC Classic, but the playerbase continued to surge. YES, the token was awful, but it was more of a nail-in-the-coffin situation for most, the token by itself without all the other negatives would not have had quite the impact, in my opinion. YES, Hardcore/SoD assisted in putting a dent into the Wrath population, but if Wrath was truly more fun than HC/SoD, then the playerbase would have returned.
...yet, the playerbase DIDN'T return, and that's for a massively obtuse reason: the changes. When Blizzard announced Classic, they proposed it as NO CHANGES. Most people presumed that to continue along with the life of Classic, and if they were going to make realms with changes then they'd be separated from the Classic trilogy. Yet, Wrath came, and the changes started flooding in. The game began to feel more and more like retail every week. If we wanted to play retail, we'd be playing retail!
Idk man, I started on skyfury. Left to whitemane when the server population went down. Was top 5 for my class in Naxx in skyfury, as well as my alt being top ten. Swapped to whitemane, hovered around the top 20 mark. Cleared all the content on heroic, hard mode, speed ran, ran and did gdkps. Have every character to 80. Did PvP, got my honor sets the classes I cared about. Wrath was exactly what I expected it to be in the modern wow landscape. Easy content with accessible rewards for alts. The bot issue has been an epidemic since classic relaunch, but I don’t really know anyone that is upset with how wrath went. Outside of the wow token, and the botting, everything else went as planned. I also was playing hardcore and sod throughout, leveled to 60 on unofficial as a warrior. I’m kinda curious what people were expecting, and also how the points mentioned shattered those expectations
So sorry to hear about your loss. R.I.P Lucy, just remember you gave her an awesome life and I'm sure she enjoyed every second of it with you.
Sorry about the puppy bro...lost my kitties after 19.5 years (brother and sister) last year, and I empathize with your pain. I's like an amputation, complete with ghost pains and reaching to the spot they usually were to give them a scratch and yet they're not there. Much love your way
Sad to hear about Lucy. Be well Nixx
For me, WoW was only about the content as a jumping off point. I was “lucky” to really come up in my strongest gameplay during BC. But it was really about my friends and the journeys we had. Hopping on ventrilo way too early after going to bed way too late. Stories and laughs that I remember vividly to this day. Those were the golden days.
I would say lack of content in wrath was one of the big ones.
SoD for sure but my guild was already dead before that. D4 had a little bit to do with it to. That definitely pulled some play away for a few weeks and then when they from out D4 sucked they just didn't come back.
But yeah content. There just isn't a lot of content in wrath that I needed to do again. The guild was pretty much raid logging a few weeks in.
I've always said wrath is a great story but it was the beginning of the end for wow.
I feel you Nixon. I lost my lilica for cancer. May Lucy rest in peace 😢
Cataclysm is simply not an expansion that interests me in classic. It's the one expansion that completely killed a lot of interest in the game for my friends in retail, and it seems to do the same for Classic. You can still engage in the content in it's prime without missing out on anything notable. I can't think of any content that actually has been lost outside of the timegate of Firelands.
I'm sorry for your loss. What a beautiful dog. She will be remembered
We got a yorkshire named Lucy. Im so sorry for your loss my man.
2 things…
I am sorry for your loss of Lucy. Been there a few times and will continue to. The joy you bring them and the joy they bring you is just amazing. I know you will always cherish her memories and I am sure she cherished her time with you all these years.
SoD ended what remained of my guild and the last tiny bit of fun I was having. Once the 1st yr was up, the fun began to fall off. Still have my memories but going into Cata, can’t do it. Either just classic or retail. Will always miss my OG wrath days as well as the 1st yr of Wotlk.
Lastly, do more Nix explores the outdoors vlogs. Cheers!
My dog also died during wotlk, and she came into my life during Ulduar launch. This expansion feels so weird to me, it's like some sort of a bizarre life cycle.
So so sorry to hear about Lucy -- you gave her so much love over the years. I've been watching you since I was 12, I'm almost 24 now, and it's been wonderful seeing you grow. I know she loved seeing that and growing alongside you too. Stay strong, be safe, and know that she's always watching over you ❤
''Me hearing about Lucy'' 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
excellent video as usual
Beautiful little grave for Lucy...🐕💔😢
damn that end announcement hit the feels. my condolences nixxiom, putting down your own dog you spent time with is never easy.
SOD was the only time i noticed a change. before SOD wow tokens cost about 3900g, after SOD they went up to over 9k now they are at 12k. I've actually had to go back to paying my sub with money which sucks.
Completely off topic, but does your hoodie and t-shirt say "Norsk" on it?
I am Norwegian and found it pretty cool!
I've been a fan for a while and her memorial brought me to tears, you gave her a great life my man, love your content as always
IMO WoW's fate was sealed when the expansion model was established with TBC, and everything below max level was seen as irrelevant and if you weren't on the cutting edge of player power you weren't a l33t hep cat, mirroring the attitude of blizz hq itself increasingly view the game as a side hustle and no longer an end but a means to lure blizzcon groupies into the cosby dungeon. Pity that.
Guild politics and dumb people wrecked this classic expansion. People are not the same as when it originally came out.
great video bro, really good, sorry about ur dog, life goes on bro, just remenber the good days, sorry for mi bad English
Didn't get a chance to play it competitively though I was looking forward to it. I basically dumped everything into classic vanilla and got all sets/gear/swords on my combat rogue including week 1 gressil. By BC I was burnt out and had to put more time into my relationship and by wrath I wasn't even playing. 34 y/o now, I played vanilla day 1 in 2004 and played on and off since then.
Sorry for your loss man
What killed WOTLK Classic for us was the introduction of the progressive nerfs in ICC combined with the holidays.. people wanted to kill it pre-nerf and due to the office xmas parties and all the other holidays related stuff we couldn't always raid in those weeks efficiently and well, people stopped caring as soon as the buff started and we ended up disbanding for the new year because of it.
So sorry about Lucy, my friend. From one animal lover to another. I feel your pain, Man.
