I feel really proud of myself. So I was using duolingo for about 3 months and getting no where. I got so frustrated. I could read it (mostly) but I just couldn't form sentences at all. So I joined a discord server and they redirected me to many things, but especially you. Things have come together so fast. It's been a month now and I've gotten this far in the series (although, tbh the first few were watched on fast since I already knew most of it). I am finally starting to understand the Korean content I watch in small parts. Thank you so much!!!! You've been such a big help. I can't wait to keep going even further.

It *can* be used for anything, it's just most natural with only people (later in the book you'll learn better ways of expressing that). In the beginning chapters though, there's only so much you can do with 3 verbs so you'll find them arranged in every possible way :)

I noticed you commented that you're completing multiple episodes in the same hour. You might be moving though this series too fast to be able to absorb the information in the videos. I'd recommend slowing down, and practicing. Remember it's not a race. It's better to move slowly and learn the info, than to simply complete the course. A person could simply watch all of these episodes in 1 day, but not be able to have a conversation without actually practicing each lesson.

    • @GoBillyKorean

I recommend watching this course from the beginning in order, as everything is explained in order. The first book also explain this in the Preface (before the book starts). Both forms are essential and you'll learn both of them whether you use my books or this video course :)

It's fine to use it for other things, but most naturally it's used for living things. My book goes into a lot more detail and the series goes to a much higher level than this series will, which is why I was able to introduce things more slowly in the books.
