    i.e. does it have the classic slop like the fury wagon and evo lines, and how is it getting into the diffs and motor.
    There's a lot going on with this rig to check out.
    Great to know about the transmitter. I hope flysky and companies using them will slowly all come into 1 protocol where they will use any available channel properly too. and someone making esc/rx for flysky that could also go in any of these too. potential but i guess it depends if a company wants to invest r&d into it

    Talking about being able to use a LiPo in the controller, That's what the LiPo / nickle metal switch is for, to tell the controller which battery type is in the controller

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  2 месяца назад +1

      On all other rigs, that switch is for the esc knowing what kind of battery is in the TRUCK. It’s for ESC LVC.

      @@danon-theautisticmaker8112 they can all use NiCd if you had a NiMH pack
      Also, all the other remotes from FlySky for the RTRS have the same switches and those remotes CAN NOT us a lipo in the remote.
      I am pretty sure the ability to switch the esc setting from nicd to lipo is an outdated legacy feature that FlySky just hasn’t caught up with removing yet.
      But like I said, the tray is COULD be ran with a NiMH pack

    • @danon-theautisticmaker8112
      @danon-theautisticmaker8112 2 месяца назад

      @@TheShopMiniRC Ya switch the esc, but with the switch being on the remote, it makes much more sense to me that switch controls a setting on the device it's attached to. Doesn't make any sense that there would a channel used to relay something like that. It's not like were talking about devices that exchanges a variety of data on any 1 channel like a raspberry pi or arduino or one of the fancy expensive telemetry systems.

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  2 месяца назад +1

      @@danon-theautisticmaker8112 the other switches change the modes of the esc as well. While I agree the logic almost makes more sense that the dipswitch would be for the remote’s battery type, it is not. I am not wrong here. Verified with hobby plus.

    Apparently you aren't aware those are plain brass bearings inside those axles. Plain bearings are a thing so feel free to look them up.
    The plain brass bearings will most certainly survive better than any cartridge bearings that size.
    As for hauling weight you'd mainly do that on modest terrain a truck like this would see in real life.
    Me? I'd put one or two of my wrecked 1/25 plastic models on it. They sit in my RC garden so are perfect to rescue and haul around on this.
    I mean you wouldn't drive this truck loaded on a hard core trail in real life so why expect a scale model to do it?

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  3 месяца назад +3

      It’s a slow crawler. People drive them through water… bushings are totally fine in this. It’s not a race car or a drifter.
      Maintenance for those who would drive it through mud, water, and snow would much rather have bushings.

    • @mattfranck7040
      @mattfranck7040 2 месяца назад +2

      Agreed, bearings are way overrated for applications like this. Plus, everyone is so spoiled these days. Back in the day, you had to actually assemble the thing, and nothing came with bearings.
