Ang mga ilonggo may traditional nga ugali sa Muslim kag may dugo Muslim man segun sa history sa Panay mga linahi ni Marikudo,Datu,Puti,Datu Paiburong kag mga kaupdanan pamilya sa 10 ka Datu halin sa Bornay(Borneo)amo nga bisan diin lang magtungtong sa ila baligya..
All Filipinos have the blood of the Bornean datus and Indonesians who came from the mainland but they were not Muslims. They were sanskrit Hindu oriented from the Shri Vijaya communities. Which is why , this region is called VISAYAS (Vijaya). The muslims were in Mindanao were a separate group. Ilonggos do not have muslim blood. We are Catholics. But the people of ILOILO and PANAY ISLAND AND GUIMARAS have more than that, ILONGGOS have a large amount of Spanish blood and some Chinese blood, which is why Ilonggos look white or pinkish brown and have mestizos/mestizas features.

My wife is Ilonggo and has some (1%) Spanish blood from the Basque region of Spain. Thank you for the information.
