The local government is making significant efforts to improve the welfare of the people. They are building large parks, creating pedestrian-friendly roads, reducing traffic, implementing no-smoking policies, and prioritizing cleanliness. While there are considerable slums inside the city, as seen at 7:44 in the video, overall Iloilo is much more organized, clean, and less polluted than other cities in the country.
Yes majority of ilonggos are rich or living above poverty line thats why it has the lowest poverty incidence

the City is Gloomy , gone are the days when there's no else to go around but the city proper , live in that city 30 years ago and i've seen the glory of the Queen City of the South . Ahh those were the day's.

Dapat makay-o na inang lugar para pasyalan. Butangan mga bag o nga lamps kag canopies. Ang mga barandilya stainless kag mga concrete benches. Tamnan dayon mga flowering plants kag i maintain ang cleanliness.
Meron naman project ang City "Iloilo City Beach Forest Park” from Fort San Pedro passing through “Iloilo City Park” (Villa Beach / Molo-Arevalo-Oton Blvd.). Sa Oton pa lang ngaun naumpisahan
Fort San Pedro is up for RECONSTRUCTION by NHCP.. Ibabalik yung ORIGINAL FORT na nawasak during WWII.. They have started the preliminary excavation to determine the original foundation of the fort.

It's technically no longer a "Fort" since the original fortress walls and structure are virtually non-existent anymore for a long time. Wish they could do a reconstruction of the Fort based on the old Spanish design.
It's UP for RECONSTRUCTION by the NHCP... Preliminary excavation is underway to determine the original foundation of the FORT.

Katabi nito ang terminal pa Guimaras, may puedeng bilhan ng groceries at kainan ang mga pasahero bago sumakay ng fast-craft paGuimaras. Pero itong Fort San Pedro ay malapit nang i-reconstruct, kasi nasa below the ground pa rin ang foundations nito. Pag natapos na ang Fort San Pedro at park nito, may bagong magandang pasyalan na naman. National Museum of the Philippinesvamg gagastos dito. Parang maging Fort Santiago ng ILOILO ito pag natapos na at siguradonh maging big tourist attraction sa ILOILO CITY. Overlooking pa siya my Guimaras island. Ang formal name nito ay La Fuerza de Nuestra Señora de Santo Rosario, kaya ang pangalan ng kalye on front nito ay Santo Rosario Street. Nirere-construct din ngayon ang Casa de España Casino Español de IloIlo malapit dito, mga 50 yards away, sa Santo Rosario Street, malapit sa harap ng bahay ng parents nina Ilonggo singer/composer Jose Mari Chan.
Ang palit nang port San Pedro! Kailangan nang e improve, liaising at evreclaim,para maraming tourists ang pumunta dyan!
