Hi again. This development has to be up there for ' the ugly award'. Those plaines north of Adelaide are hot, dry and have no appeal whatsoever. The wind factor is horrendous. During a hot Adelaide summer, those houses are going to literally bake. This site was controversial from the start. Thanks for showing us in person.

This housing development is built in an Aboriginal burial site! Kaurna people, the traditional owners of the land. Our burial site was desecrated to give you all somewhere to live! 😣😱

Just came across your channel....and wow...the town where I grew up !!! ( 1965- 1984) Only moved when I went to Adelaide nursing. So many memories...could tell you who lived where and when, and how many rebirths those buildings have had. The stone house at the end of Margret St was the first home I lived in when I married ( 1973) and Lyndoch Motors was my first job as an office girl. Thanks for the memories :)

Henley Beach was the most boring, dowdy place, alla British seaside, until a Greek restaurant opened there in the early eighties and started its transition to one of the most desirable and foodie destination coastal areas, not only in South Australia, but indeed in Australia. To this day many of the buildings and businesses are owned by Greek-Australians who can proudly take credit for transforming the area. A little bit of the Mediterranean Down Under!

I think that there are a lot of broken glass, screws, nails, and other sharp things after fire. Kids are walking barefoot, maybe they have very thick skin on the soles, or it is dangerous....
