      1) Pro tip: Wear two pairs of thin tight-knit woollen socks, even in hot weather. The inner sock can move and slide within the outer sock and the wool wicks away the sweat and allows your feet to breathe.
      2) An easy way to stretch your shoes: Pack them full of dry beans, e.g. haricot beans, frijoles, etc. and then soak the shoes in water for a couple of hours so that the beans expand a lot. Works a treat for shoes you don't mind getting wet. You're welcome.
      Best wishes from Spain. :)

    • @granjmy
      @granjmy 2 года назад +1

      @@Nilguiri I wonder if you could just put the beans into a plastic bag, and soak them in water until expanded, then wet the shoe (like if you had walked in the rain) force the bag into your shoe, then let it all dry.... just thinking here. :)

    • @Nilguiri
      @Nilguiri 2 года назад +2

      @@granjmy No, that wouldn't work. The idea is that they have to expand within the shoe in order to enlarge it. I guess you could try putting them into a bag while dry, force them into the shoe and then add water into the bag so that they expand, if you wanted to keep the shoe dry. There seems little point in putting the beans in a bag once they have already expanded, especially as you mentioned wetting the shoe anyway. Cheers.

    I used to wear band-aids but I didn't like the look of them sticking out of the shoe (literally ALL my shoes rub in the same place: exactly in the edge of the shoe), so I started sticking the band-aid to the shoe instead of my foot. I wondered my I had never done it before, worked like a charm. I also use double sided tape for the tougher shoes and it offers great cushioning, when a simple band-aid would get destroyed.

    • @missfortune8553

      Omg I've been doing the bandaid thing too, idk why I never thought to stick it to my shoe instead. Gosh I feel so dumb, thank you for sharing your solution! I tried it with one of those big bandaids and my unbearable heels are now comfortable to walk in.

    1:21 Use good fitting Shoe.
    a. use thicker socks when measuring your shoe
    b. pick bigger shoe
    c. Its better to be a way to big than a way to small
    2:32 Get some in soles
    3:41 Go with socks than will protect your heels (stockings, thin socks, thocker socks etc)
    4:04 Use *gel pads*. It will cover your heel
    a. You can also use duck tape (that mathes your skin tone), athletic tape, elictrical tape, KT tape, paper tape, band aid.
    b. Moisturizer, deodorant and wax can alsi help because it can decrease the fiction.
    6:22 Break in your shoe. Expand and strech it for feeling.
    a. You can moisten it a little bit using stretching oils.
    b. Get some water and moisten some newspaper, then squeeze it like it must be alittle damp and finally stuff it on to your shoe. Leave it over night.
    c. More tricks-- 7:55

      Try to stretch the shoe with heat. Blow dry it while wearing thick socks and its gonna stretch a bit.

    I have always used Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape. It's a thin foam rubber, very sticky tape. You can buy it in a Band-Aid type of form, and in a roll. Wash foot. Dry WELL. Use toilet paper/tissues to get all the moisture that a towel may leave. Apply tape in areas that hurt, or will hurt as the day goes on. Superb custom cushioning. Lasts all day long. Stays put. Does not roll off onto itself. Can also be applied to shoe instead of foot.
    Also is GREAT for slippery electronic devices. :) Looks strange on a device, but works until you can get a case. Imagine fumbling your new cell phone because it's slippery.

For the most part high socks sometimes work but if it’s summer time or a certain occasion I would like to wear my shoes with no show socks but its impossible. Another shoe that gives me problems is the Jordan 5s they make my heels rub and pinky toes swell up so bad it cuts off circulation and turn purple. I always wondered how people can pull of these looks with no problems.*

    One critique, it's a pronunciation thing I cannot abide without educating especially if I'm dealing with a doc lol
    Y'all are used to a constantly expanding knowledge base, so I hope you understand and see it's not disrespectful. No-one knows everything, certainly not me. So... Here it is:
    Calculator, phonetically it's a cal-cue-lay-tore.
    Not trying to be a jerk but I wince so hard when people say that, and instead of judging or assuming, I give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they don't realize their mispronunciation just like I never noticed I said melk opposed to milk or grosheries opposed to groceries. I appreciate those sho made me aware and stay conscious of my own personal pronunciation now.
    God Bless

      Pandora, do his feet burn and/or get painful and tender when they turn red? He may have a condition called Erythromelalgia. Google it- sudden redness with burning pain. Some days better than others, and sudden unexplained flare-ups. I know someone else who has this with his toes. Ice packs, aspirin, elevation help his severe pain. It can be made worse by hot temperature weather, and high oxalate foods. Cause seems to be unknown- possibly genetic. I read abut a woman who desensitized her feet. Let me know if you want links to read.

    I tested in a store a 43(France measurement) Chelsea boot and it was to loose then I tested a 41 and it was too tight too small so I ordered online a 42 and it’s perfect but my heel is rubbing hard.Tho I will try some of these tips, hope they might help me.

    i used to have a pageant coach that helped me with my walk. i had to wear 7 inch platform heels for 5 hours straight during practice. on my first day, my feet were sooo painful that i almost fell. after the class, i had a huge blister on the ball of my feet. it was so painful walking. i didn’t end up competing in the pageant bc of the pandemic. after those lessons, i def admire anyone who wears very tall heels for extended periods of time all while looking effortless

    I don’t really understand what the problem is with my feet. I don’t get blisters on my heel I get it right above my heel. No shoes ever work because I always get blisters I literally only have 1 shoe that doesn’t hurt me and I’ve been wearing that for 2 years now so I need to get new shors

    I'm having this with leather boots I change a size up and a size down and didn't make a difference. They're supposed to be good quality too.
    Only getting it in my right foot so far my left foot I had some rubbing too and rubbed some skin off.
    I'm not sure where I'm going wrong or if I just need to break them in.
    I've purchased some better wool socks as my cheap work socks didn't do the trick.

    The heel straps sold in stores are a scam. The sticky part is so weak, it comes off so easily. I had to use super glue. But watch out. Apply the super glue on the outer sides and not the center. That was my mistake. The center glue turned into stone or cement and now it hurts my heel like HELL. So now I gotta buy a sponge to cover over it

    • @nafdikyaaqsa
      @nafdikyaaqsa 2 года назад +1

      Uh you should never ever ever use super glue on skin. Ever. You can buy loads of other adhesive for topical use, otherwise you're risking a potential trip to the emergency room.

    Bought Football Shoes, I have 25cm right foot, i wanted fit shoes, so i ordered shoes with insole of 25cm. no tolerance, but i forgot, my left foot is about .8 cm longer,
    Got a nail size blister on my heel asap on first day, soaked the shoe in hot water for 2 days, used it for 2 days now, only the blister hurts, but don't know if it'll cause more blisters once this blister heals.

    • @DrTomBiernacki

      One of my favorite things for athletes is a bandaid with some tape over it while playing, that should really help, you can add a 3rd layer of Vaseline over that as well!

    I have a life long problem with formal women shoes and flats. As in there's no way I can find a pair that fits both feet perfectly bc right foot is a little bigger thus I get friction on left foot bc the left shoe rubs at the back of my heel and of course after an hr or two I have blisters and wounds. So it's not bc shoe is tight but bc it's a little loose. I have tried bandaid and sticking some felt tape or gel peice at the back on my shoe but still my problem stands.
