- FUEL GAUGE INOP, TRACTION CONTROL OFF, DUE TO NO COMUNICATION FROM PCM,TRANS CONTROL MODULE,ABS MODULE,THE SOLUTION IS REPLACE THE ABS HARNESS CONNECTOR ,WHEN REMOVE IT ,IT CRACK CAUSING BAD CONNECTION WHEN CONNECT IT BACK ,JUST TRANSFER WIRE BY WIRE TO THE NEW CONNECTOR.
After a few hours of checking and rechecking wires and fuse box and techm and security system your video solved the problem straight away. Thank you so much!
Hit the nail on the head. Just R&R'd my subframe to swap trans and no start. Thought I'd plugged in firmly to the ABS module only to find out both plastic pins had broken in the connector, stopping me from inserting completely. Thank you!

Tengo problema mi acadia 09 no enciende solo da start pero no se mantiene encendida los mecánicos me dicen cambiar motor pero no confío en new Orleans les sale más fácil a ellos cambiar motor y pueda q este bueno

Su video fue muy util para mi. You save me from calling the tow truck and getting ripped off from the dealer. I also have a 2011 Acadia. Mi problema era el mismo. It wouldn't start or crank. Just a tick sound. I checked all connectors just like u described in ur video. (The ABS module/ Engine Module/ and all other connectors that I thought it could help) I cleaned all of them with QD Electronic Cleaner and boom! Car has been starting ever since. Pero cuando se trata de cosas grandes.. prefiero llevarlo al mecanico. Al menos que yo pueda.. yo lo haria.

I pulled the starter, motor mount and bracket, installed new starter and bracket and mount. Same thing, no crank, no start, defenantly gonna check this tomorrow.
Thank you so much for this video. I did a full timing chains job on this 2013 Acadia and i had the same issue. No communication with ECM/ TCM/ ABS. I unplugged and plugged back many connectors to no avail. When i came looking for ideas, i found you video and that connector was simply not pushed in fully. Once i corrected it, the vehicle fired right up. Thanks again brother.

Got one in the shop now with the same problem. Ours came in with the traction and abs lights on, tech removed the air box to test continuity and then the car wouldnt start. No communication with the pcm, code co121 coo73 hatch doesn’t work and no box around the park indicator. If any of the communication lines go open these suv’s leave you stranded or the technician frustrated. Chevy Impala uses the same setup. One Christmas light goes out the whole tree goes dark that’s how these data bus systems work. The hard part is getting the customer to understand the time involved in finding the loose connection somewhere whether under the passenger seat or at the EBCM. Good video pointing out a common issue.
Thanks for the comment,It is hard to make customers to understand that when its electrical problems we never know how long is going to be to solve the nitemare,make sure your connector to de ABS MODULE makes good connection on my case it was the problem,I replaced just the plastic part, transfer wire by wire and problem solved,Good luck fixing yours.
You ever figure out the issue? Same thing for me on a 2010 gmc acadia. Traction control light on, no[] around park on dash and wouldnt crank. Disconnected the negative battery and it signifies its in park and will start.
Same my problem now, check all fuses and relays on fuse box,all good, change starter because it's burn,then wirings harness all good rotation and condition,but still won't work, but today I watch your videos, this helps me a lot to check all connection electrical.thank you.

My problem was something totally different (dealer gps/tracker wiring was at fault) but this video STILL lead me to the actually problem by just getting me to open the hood altogether 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for comment, I had weird electrical problems because of a GPS incorrectly installed not on just this type of trucks, I hope people read the comments ,the problem may be diferent and learn from shared solutions, Thanks again for shared your fixed problem.

Sadly here in my town I don’t know of a mechanic that isn’t a crook. And the only honest one we had retired!! I have been doing a lot of repairs myself to save me big bucks. The last time I had my car in the mechanic said I needed new struts on the front and rear. What he didn’t realize was that I changed them myself no more than a year and a half ago! He got busted trying to rip me off. I won’t ever go back. Sadly his dad used to be honest. Guess he didn’t teach his son that trait.

I have the same issue. Just replaced those intricate timing chains on a 2009 Traverse 3.6. What a nightmare. I dropped the subframe, easier than trying to do in frame. Now it won't start. Doing same thing this Acadia is doing. Currently trying to figure it out. Thank you for the video, great job.
Make sure to have all your grounds at the timing cover and the fuse box connectors

@@cjuanchy I did the same, dropped the subframe. Took me longer than 22 hours. I'd not done one before. Engine now sounds fine, just have to take care of a code p2176 that won't go away. 'Throttle adaptation- idle not learned.' I dont have a fancy scan tool to do an idle relearn. Tried a procedure i found online but so far hasn't worked. Its the only code I have, too. I should mention the throttle body harness is held on by a zip tie as someone broke the clip on it before it came to me. I tried cleaning the throttle blade but still no luck. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

No se reemplaza todo el cableado solo el conector de plastico donde entran los cables para conectar en el ABS Module, Orelys auto parts lo tenia.

Tarda en ensender solo da marcha y cuando prende al meter el cambio lo mete muy agresivo da el tiron bien fuerte para delante y en reversa , pero para delante si da el tiron agresivo y al avanzar esta todo devil sin fuerza le acelero bastante y avanza muy poco...el escaner me marca sensor de arbol de levas banco 1... El caso es que ase 7 meses me isoblo mismo . fui con un electrico y me dijo que era la transmisión que el me lo arreglaba pero era trabajo caro y lo arregle 7mil pesos me cobro como 340 dolares .. El electricio me dio 2 meses de garantia y todo muy bien hasta el dia de hoy volvio a fallar igual con los mismos sintomas.. Alguna recomendacion amigo que me pueda dar e escuchado q esas transmisiones son muy defectuosas lo que pasa que tengo muchos años con este carrito lo traje de Wisconsin ase 10 años tiene ya 280000 millas . creo tener 2 obciones ir de vuelta con el electrico y que me diga si asi ba a estar fallando porq no me conviene es mucho dinero para q lo este asiendo muy rapido y la otra seria ir a un yonke y buscar la misma transmision..... Si me pudiera alludar con alguna recomendacion se agredeseria muchisimo hermano

Aquí les dejo mi testimonio 👉🏼 bueno yó tengo un GMC ACADIA 2008 y me empezó a marcar (check engine) el Mecanico le puso la computadora y me marcó 2 códigos (p0014 & p0391) el punto es q me dijo q ivan a tener q sacar el motor para poder arreglar ese problema y por ese trabajo sería de $2’200.00 a $2’500.00 y como a mí se me hizo una cantidad súper alta pues no podía creer lo q me decía el mecánico, así q empeze a buscar más información sobre ese problema y empeze a mirar vídeos en RUclips y de un vídeo a otro me llevo aquí! Y pues yó lo veo como cosa De Dios x q Gracias a este vídeo me pude poner en contacto con está gran persona q sin dudarlo me ayudo y bueno resultó q a mi carro solo le faltaba aceite y pues sí después de ponerle aceite mi carro sigue corriendo normal. Así q de ir a pagar como $2’200.00 + solo resulte pagando $55.00 y todo gracias a esta persona q es tan humilde. Gracias 🙏 por ser tan humilde que Dios le regrese todos sus favores en bendiciones. Súper agradecida con usted! 🙏

Tengo una GMC Acadia 2008 pero oy no quiso arrancar quiere pero no ledi cables y no como que la bateria carga pero no lo suficiente
@@joseavelarlugo8873 Si fuese la bateria baja ,cuando le pases corriente deja que se cargue un ratito antes de intentar prenderla,de lo contrario puedes ahogarla y se te complicará prenderla.

How long did it took you to find that problem?I know diagnosis and finding a short open wire take a long time and patience.
It was intermitent,and I wasnt realy spending long period of time every time It acts ,so I took me about 3 days to finally get to the exact point.
No its older video but got one at the car lot I work at and we pulled it in the shop yesterday and drove it around then this checked all fuses and has a good battery so will definitely try this tomorrow when I get to work

I changed out my timining chain on a 2010 Chevy Traverse, because it was throwing codes for p0008 and p0017. I finally got the car back together and now I'm recieving codes p0336 and p0122. I'm not sure what to do at this point, we followed the cloyes video and used their chains, so I believe that we did those correctly. Do you have any ideas? Also, I just change the Crankshaft position sensor before I did the chains, because I thought that was the orginal issue. and as of now it seems as if it wants to crank, but it won't turn over.

Just the plastic part,all you have to do is just swap wire by wire from the old plactic connector to a new one.
Buenas Tardes Señor, Tengo una Acadia 2008 que hace lo mismo corriendo, es decir, de repente los indicadores de la gasolina y de la temperatura se van a cero, prende el check engine y me marca traction off, despues de eso ya no quiere prender pero al poco tiempo se restablecen los indicadores y ya prende. Es una falla intermitente. Cree que sea este conector?

Justin Basham You dont have to replace the whole harness ,I just replace de plastic connector of ABS CONTROL MODULE,just transfer wire by wire to its position very careful not to put any wire on any wrong position.
cjuanchy well now it's not starting at all even if we pull the harness.. it's clicking but nothing the last 2 weeks or so it has been doing this and it's been taking it longer and longer to start and today nothing hasn't started at all. I'm taking the air filter off now.

Since you mention that it is the same as my video ,its the one for the ABS MODULE,just make sure that is not a bad connection before replace the connector.

Great video. However on my 2009 Chevy traverse I have no crank. Just replace crankshaft sensor po335 and it just click and does nothing. Any suggestions
You have to make sure that you have fully charged battery,that code has nothing to do with not crancking engine.if still not cranking with fully charge battery,make sure you have on the dash P if so ,than may be bad starter.

Thank you for this video. I have a 2012 Traverse. AC stopped working. I'm afraid to bring to the dealer because I hear it is very difficult to diagnose and often they don't know what it is the problem. The rear AC is out as well. Do you know what this problem usually is? Air blows properly, just hot air.
Benjamin Wilson , in order for your AC to work,it has to be at least 1 Lb of freeon,it probable leak out,the most common leak at that kind of trucks is the high side hose bolted to the A/C Compressor unless is charged and have a electrical problem,check that first and let me know please.
I was told by another mechanic it is charged. I often hear they say it is the evaporator. The dash has to be removed to get to it. A lot of labor. When they do that it doesn't fix it a lot of times. and they charge you then to do the compressor....
Benjamin Wilson , Its hard for me to tell you exactly the problem, but if is it fully charged,you need to tell me more details , like is the a/c compressor kicking on? If it is the radiator cooling fans have to be turning on as well, also I need to know what pressures you have at low side And high side it mut be , about 50 psi at low side, and about 150 psi at high side if you have higher pressures that mean that there is a restriccion on one of the a /c lines,the evaporator Only is replaced because it leaks , but I never replaced one for been cloged,I dont remember if this type of trucks uses an orfice tube ,Orfice tube is a little filter with a valve, when that orfice tube,goes Bad or Cloged It gives you a high pressure on the high side wich is the thinner line, see if it helps you to solve your case, please.

I have a skoda Yeti
After the timing belt replacement, everything working fine for 1 hour. Then the car does not turn on and the immobilizer light wont blink while turning on the key. Cannot connect to the ecm with any readers.
My mechanic checked for fuses and connections. Everything looks fine. Now he suggested that it can be a faulty BCM or ECM. What do you think?
Hi, First you need to scan all modules,it souns like mechanic may forgot to connect a ground or some connector, or you are having some issue with security system,by scanning all modules ,the codes gives more idea where to look at before replacing expensive parts.

@@AjmalBabusinger remember that all modules have powers and grounds and if one of those are missing its enough to give you trouble

Fixed the issue. It was a loose wire on the crankshaft sensor. Fixed it and now the car runs fine :)
