Geez, you take more stuff than people doing the dakar... :)
😂🤙
Me on my way to a ride trip: Did we bring gas? Where are the goggles? Did somebody grab my right boot?????
Definitely nothing wrong with the way you set up for these multi day rides. I'm sure everyone would love to be able to have all the spares and the means to get bikes prepped to that point.
When I go away riding for a few days though, usually just ensure my bike maintenance is up to date, spare tube(s), an air filter, some tools, fuel/oil, food/drink and my ute/trailer is always maintained anyway so I know they'll always get me there
everyone is forgetting this is his job ,of course he is going to be more prepared then most
i dont understand why you are getting all those comments about being overprepared, to me this all makes sense. it just shows that you’ve probably had a few rides ruined or at least altered by riding partners who just werent well prepared, or maybe even yourself. i get it man, i’ve had to work on other guys bikes so many time during rides , its not even funny. keep doing things your own way, it obviously served you well so far. cheers man.
I have an enclosed trailer, one thing I love about it, is most of your gear you can just store in your trailer, no need to take it in and out constantly, or worry about stuff getting stolen as long as it’s locked up good
I guess RUclips pays more than I thought. In 40 years of riding never brought or needed so much. Maintain your bike after every ride, bring a few air filters, some basic tools, throw it in the truck and go.
I don't know anyone who puts new tires on just because they are going on a long ride. You must have more time and money than me or the people I ride with. I take a gear bag, backpack, gas and a cooler.
Ditto...except it does look like he's going on a big trip. That would be like my one annual vacation for me, so I can understand wanting to grab some fresh rubber. Cheaper than an overseas vacation haha.
@@austinw638 Yes thats true. Maybe he should auction his old ones off. Guaranteed the better than mine most of the time.
3L Water bag, 1 spark plug, 1 wrench, 1 multi tool, 1 emergency lighter, a snack, and 2 coors light. (jbl clip speaker optional)
just finished the video! it’s awesome how thorough you are, Kyle! love the content, i’m 16 and ride dirt bikes and i’ve always dreamt of getting an enclosed trailer and customizing it like yours to make it fit my needs and be practical like you are! sweet video man! ✌️🤘
I would love to see that video you mentioned on what you bring specifically in your back back. Tools, parts, etc while your out on the trail
Great video, great tips. With all the "redundancy", you're only missing one thing....ME!!!
This is a little extreme. I've done two 4 week trips east coast to Colorado in compact pickup single cab 6 ft bed... No way I could bring all this. Bring an extra pipe, filters, full toolbox, extra Jersey, pants, goggles...call it good. If you need something stop at the local auto parts store or moto shop.
Awesome and yes yes glad you mentioned the pillow… never forget your favorite pillow for your best night sleep. However you did forget one key item……… the kitchen sink. 😂
Great video... too bad I felt so poor after seeing it 🤣🤣
5 pairs of giggles and a back up helmet? Wow, going to your house when the SHTF soon
Haha, giggles vs goggles 🥽
He took the whole garage! If this is prepared, no one is ever prepared.. lol love it and I’m with ya.. with a lot less money. Maybe one day I’ll be setup like this. 👍
I subscribed a long time ago, but this video just came up? This video hit me pretty good. As a dad of two other riders, I prepare just like you do in this video. But, when I was young, I did a pre-ride check. And by pre-ride check; I mean gas, oil, socks, and underwear for a three day ride and that was it. Luck would have it, I never broke down on those long rides. Probably ignorant kid luck, lol. The amazing thing was, I was always the prepared one! I just thought it was funny because of how prepared you are in this video and how prepared I am now with my kids riding.
Dam can’t even imagine if you where a side by side owner .
This is soooop crazy you should go check yourself man lol.
So much gear that can support like 4 riders easy, I'm not even using 10% of what you have In a whole year!!
he could feed a whole african tribe with the amount of stuff he brings
For the average middle class American, doing all this before a trip is not financially possible, I mean you got 1400$ in extra tires and rims.
ikr like this guy spends money for no reason, im sitting here with tyres that have 60 hours on them lmfao
Thanks Kyle, have a good one!
So thorough! Awesome trailer
Killer setup!! Super jealous!! Keep up the good work Kyle!
Kyle, I went to Crested Butte from Phoenix This summer and lost a whole day of riding because the 1/8" tubing on my Lectron carb(power jet tube) split. I had to drive to a walmart in Durango to get fish tank line. Seems I had everything but that....Wish I had that spare bike!
Holy geez, Kyle.... Short of bringing 2 engine case halves "just in case" and a full garage's worth of tools, you may as well just bring a 2nd bike..!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@dean8367 percentage of people with 2?
He does bring 2 bikes. And 3 helmets. And 20 goggles and everything snap-on ever made.
Great Video, "Be Prepared" alive and well. I would be interested in you including some shots of your camp setup if possible. I know some folks use "Toy haulers" that have living space along with their Bikes. Just wondering how you setup your group camp / staging area. Thanks!
I'm I'm your age group and financial group. Pretty much do the same. Have to be ready for what other guys forget. 10 or 20 years ago I couldn't be as prepared. Didnt have the money or knowledge. For some reason trips went better and had more fun back then. The pre and post of trips kind of ruin it for me now.
Because you weren't worried about the negative or what your mates didn't have.
Kyle, I just picked up a new Ram 3500 and it has a light check setting you select that and it goes through all the lights until you turn it off!
Finally. It’s so aggravating getting a ticket for lights. I’m always like they were working when I left. I’ve even fixed a light while pulled over and still got a ticket like how is that my fault. It’s mechanical failure not operator. But this helps to check every morning or once a week to help your case of being safe and legal. As a mechanic, driver, operator I’m glad to hear someone has addressed this. 👍
That is awesome! I noticed RAM trucks come up with most of the cool stuff and other truck manufacturers copy them. Congrats on the new truck
One thing is missing here: where is my invitation ?!? Nice content as always, cheers V!
I use fork blocks to allow me to cinch down my straps for long trips and not blow my seals. Most of the time they are just sawed off pieces of 4x4 post, but I do have a plastic one somewhere. This is especially needful when loading a bike on a hitch rack.
If only I could win that spare bike...I will be giving tie down straps and socks for Christmas for years! lol!! On the up side, everybody loves them!

Love the setup
We start with clearing trail every spring ,cut in more trail every summer than do multi day rides in the fall. I always keep my bike Maintained so nothing new there.
I don’t know anyone who preps this much wow !
Good video but most people don’t bring that much stuff, if I did would be no room for the bikes !
Kyle great video. You definitely well prepare but you probably forgot something....lol Hope the trip is epic.
Can't help but wonder if putting all the bikes and gear on one side of the trailer is causing the uneven wear on your trailer tires.
Thank you!
That's a badass truck
Hey Kyle - is that TSP head & ECU kit being fitted to your 250? Just about to do the same to my EC250.
Hey, can you do a video like ''2022 KTM 125 XC or KTM 150 XC-W'' ?
Nicely done.
Hey Kyle . I never owned a dirt bike before and back in 2020 I purchased a 2020 Kim 250 tpi and now I just purchased a 2022 300 tpi but as I said I never road before and now I have two bikes and don’t really know how to ride them . What is the best way for me to learn? I know I was stupid but I wanted a bike
Yep. Redundancy! I’m a big fan. My buddies and my son would make fun of me ….until I saved their ride day. BAM! Rockstar lol
My advice, don't be that guy that services your bike out on the trip. Do that crap before you leave!
Curious if the driver side trailer tire wears oddly compared to the passenger side trailer tire because the dirt bikes are loaded on the driver side thus weighting that side of the trailer unevenly.
Very in depth and if you have the space more power to you, but seriously get that trailer fixed.
Love the vids this helped a lot thank you
Most important part of the video, the fresh tortillas. Forget those premade ones 😂
Respect your thoroughness but it can be done much ‘lighter’ than that. Different folks, different strokes.
I prefers 2 strokes
Great video mate!
Very nice Kyle👍👍
great video!!! does anyone know the size of that trailer?
This proves that I’m not ready to go on a multi-day dirt bike trip.
You dont really have to carry a workshop with you. If your bike is serviced and looked over you would easily do with spares you could fit in a backpack.
Really love your truck Kyle cool👍
Great Video :D. 👍👍
Man you do have some gear awesome👍👍
Being prepared is great.....4 sets of clothes? That's more than i pack on 5 day adventure rides. Who cares if youre wearing dirty gear, 10mins in it's all the same
In south africa we take cabel ties and a bottle of glue and we can fix a bike no problem
Love the video...
This is what I strive to be
you take a spare bike?
So do year worth maintenance before going on a trip hahahaha the way to do it is just to always be prepared. Definitely exaggerated video. This could help someone that doesnt do maintenece regularly but he'll just sell everything and cancel the trip before doing all this hahahaha
I want to go riding with Kyle
Me too. Won't have to bring a thing........not even a bike!
Alright I see the bike in the video... When do we talk about the Gas Gas EC300? Come on now its time!
Hey Dirtbike channel,
maybe the caption should read "Secret for kyle's perfect trip".
It's a good insight to show the viewers what you require on your trips in order to provide us with great content, but unfortunately for the average person this is financially unrealistic.
“Ride with Kyle” your next business .
every time i get on mine £200 falls out my pocket.....still love it tho 🤷♂️
Don't forget a big hammer. Very important if you ride a KTM.
This video scored in the first 10 seconds. We have a zillion city noobs riding our mountain trails and none of them ever has a saw. They expect that the trails will be perfectly prepared for them. They will spend 40 minutes ripping and tearing the ground all around a downed tree when they could spend 5 minutes with a saw to clear the trail. Folks, they are closing down more miles of trails every year and ripping up the area trying to ride around does NOT help. Don't be a city noob. Pack a saw
I live in Australia can I still enter to win a bike
There’s no way you do this for every trip.
How can you buy so much bikes 😂
Makes 20 grand off a bike when he raffles them off.
I guess I’ll sell my bike then 😭
You’d be talking divorce at my place with all that extra gear, I’m lucky to have one of anything, I must admit I’d probably be the same if I had the funds, nothing like being prepared.
I just want an invite... just saying!!
Doomsdayer
Lol, what's so bad showing your license plate, you've already shown the world your address in multiple videos?
Second
that's another way to spend a million
I'll carry the chainsaw and do all the cutting......
