You have got to be kidding me.
My Exams have just started and RUclips, all of the sudden, REALLY wants me to stop learning and to reinstall Deus Ex.
After those bloody exams, I will install Deus Ex again, and I WILL download this ENB.
Stellar work, Rudy!
Fantastic work - this really breathes new life into the game. I'll definitely be trying this on my next playthrough.
Wow! Cyberpunk looks really good! XD Jokes aside, your ENBs always look great!
Beautiful. Good work!
I'm beyond impressed , I have an average spec laptop and it's runs pretty good I had to lower my resolution to 720 p and used the fps improvements as said on the readme and now it runs at 40-46 . Thanks a bunch dude and whoever else worked on this mod .
Wow, looks awesome.
Remaster that we deserves!
I just finished Deus Ex HR again and will have to restart cause this looks fantastic
Very nice job! Reinstalling DX HR right now :)
This feels much more Deus Exy!
just WOW!!! :)
there's a mod that fixes the hud scaling now, so you can play in 4k without the hud looking stupidly small.
nice
Looks really great, Is the setup difficult for installing HR mods?
Wow I gotta try this out. Never got around to finishing this game, now might be the time :D
Surprisingly, the threads contained in it haven't lost their relevance if we take into account what is happening with the world today.
@@rudy1023 I finished Cyberpunk 2077 the other day, never realized how relatable the genre is becoming especially in the pandemic where we have a purely tech-driven social fabric. Pretty scary in all honesty.
It would be cool to have a version of the mod which is a little more "blue" (well, tastes... ;) but still, it's very good (especially the reflections on the ground). Nice job.
In the preset you will find 13 different LUT bitmaps for color grading ;)
I wish there was a way to do this with ReShade.
I don't need any Ray Tracing or reflections or anything,
just the colour grading and the shading.
No more bright/backlit-looking edges on everything.
Mother of god. Thats an awesome job. I wish you could fix the npcs, they look a bit off nowadays
Bit off, you're kidding :) I don't know why, but most of them look like from PSX, except for Athene Margoulis - i.imgur.com/z6AKXKK.jpg
Does this require an RTX graphics card? I'm on a GTX 970 and really wanna give this a go on a repeat playthrough! Also, any indicators on the performance loss? The mod page states some stuttering but I saw your comment on here that stuttering has been fixed? Thank you in advance!
Doesn't require RTX, DX9 mode in this game is broken (stuttering), performance loss is rather noticeable.
@@rudy1023 For NVIDIA use HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eidos\Deus Ex: HRDC\Graphics locate AtiForceFetch4 - set it to 0
@@sselesnes1 - Why? Can you write more info?
@@rudy1023 stuttering every 3-5 sec. 10600K RTX3070
@@sselesnes1 - Thanks, need to try :)
could you make a video on how to actually get this working? i’m having trouble with getting it to work in game.
Jesus Christ this look incredible. Quick question does it work on a gtx 1050? I really want to try it but I don't have a rtx card :(
Yes, I have a 1050 and it works perfectly
Played through the whole game with your mod and loved it. I have a hefty rig so if you need someone to record some scenes at 4k 60FPS let me know, would like to give back.
Good idea, maybe just post some videos. I don't think there are a lot of them on RUclips.
If you are going to play DX:MD then let me know (on Nexus for example), I have a ReShade preset somewhere that I used in this game :)
@@rudy1023 I am planning on starting it soon. Would that be the same ReShade from your channel videos? I was going to download it off your nexus mods if so.
@@ibex4550 - Yes, the same preset from my videos and Nexus screenshots. But I don't think I ever published it.
Late to the game but it's weird. I have a hefty rig too and can run it at a smooth 4k and I actually prefer 1080p coupled with the cyberpunk_04 color palette. Gives it a sort of artistic look especially with the lighting. I played DSX HR way back on the 360 and this mod really makes it feel like a remaster. Terminals are glitchy and will freeze when manually entering a password. Deleting a character will trigger a soft freeze but it's minor and can be worked around easily enough. Other than that it's a great mod, we'll done.
Is it possible to somehow enable that golden ambient glow from original DXHR ?
As a post-process, yes. The Director Cut version has the color scheme changed anyway. Just use ReShade, some warm LUT should do the job.
I think I also attached some warm LUT to the preset, how to change it is explained on the preset site.
@@rudy1023Thank you.
Very nice job, is this usable on Mankind Devided?
No, ENB is game specific. But I made a ReShade preset for DX:MD the other day - ruclips.net/video/hmnyTgTR_LQ/видео.html - ruclips.net/video/9egn2ogRWcE/видео.html - if I find time I'll upload it to Nexus this week
@@rudy1023 That would be nice, i looking forward to it!👍
@@rudy1023Any chance on uploading this?

😄
Shame I just finished HR a couple of weeks back.
Okay so I thought it was because I was using the wrong game because it was the og game. But even still have getting directors cut I still don’t have anywhere NEAR the looks you do. My reflections are not even there even tho I put it at -1 like it said. I followed all the instructions. Any help would be great. Would love to play the game looking like this.
Maybe you messed up something in the game settings?
@@rudy1023 I mean, I put everything on max and used dx 9 like it stated. Honestly not sure whats going on, I could send screen shots of the settings etc if that would help in anyway, just trying to figure it out because this looks AMAZING.
like there is lighting and some reflections, but it's like distant light not like a raw reflection like the ones in this video.
If you think it would help I can record what I have currently and post it..
Thanks for the replay and any help~
Send a screenshots, PM me on Nexus.
@@rudy1023 Sent your way! :D Thanks for helping out
does this work with the original hr version cause the DC is garbo
Why?
@@rudy1023 many reasons. dc has stuttering issues with some setups. performance is worse. bugs ext. DC is based off an early version of the final game. which is stupid i know. it also does not have the yellow filter which i feel takes away a lot from the style of the original game. there other issues but there the main ones
@@ronuss - I have no idea if ENB (this latest version) works with the older version of the game, anyway that old DX:HR is no longer available for purchase.
I have a box version of it somewhere, already finished it, but now, while working on ENB, I'm playing the DC version.
No bugs so far, just started that mission from the Missing Link DLC.
Stuttering in DX9 mode was noticable, but now with ENB shader cache is gone.
I've never been a fan of this yellow filter, but I prepared one LUT bitmap (amber) with which the game looks similar. personally use a more gloomy version (cyberpunk 04 LUT).
@@ronuss there is a mod that partitially restores golden filter in Director's Cut, but I have no idea how it will work with ENB: cookieplmonster.github.io/2020/04/26/dxhr-dc-gold-filter/
I don't like how the modded variant looks.
Without the mod, the game looks like a living concept art. It has a unique low-contrasty style also slightly resembling cel-shaded games.
With the mod it looks like yet another random UE4 game. Maybe that was one of the reason Mankind Divided didn't feel like a Deus Ex game. The 2001 original didn't have "realistic lighting" and wet floors.
Exactly.
