Cmon man, DC lost to Stipe twice remember that
When you see such a great fighter get so clearly outmatched by a new guy with that much potential..it’s hard to not be excited about the future of the heavyweight division.
Gane is the best technical striker in the heavyweight division, and I think he's more mobile than a lot of other heavyweights, but the worst place Gane could be is in Francis striking range. Ngannou has a two inch reach advantage on Gane meaning Gane has to enter Ngannou's range in order to strike. Ngannou doesn't KO people on every shot, but if a clean uppercut lands, good night, hook on the temple, show's over.
Francis got too much power he could KO anyone with the shortest hook. Gane really has to fight the most perfect he's ever fought in the Octagon. Just as Stipe went all in the first fight, Gane has to go all in against this guy.
Gane fights the perfect fight every time he enters the ring. It’s Ngannou who has to fight the perfect fight of his life to stand a chance of coming out victorious.
@@benc8167 One hook to the jaw and Gane will sleep for months. He's the one that needs the perfect fight over Francis. You folks speak like Ngannou is some bum who doesn't have the potential to drop the best Heavyweights on the planet. As a matter of fact he's already doing it.
Gane is in trouble if Ngannou has even slightly improved since them. And considering he has been training his striking with the best heavyweight kickboxer in the world (Rico Verhoeven) for the past month or so, he’s probably substantially better, given his unnatural ability to learn high level techniques super quickly. Remember when he learned a Kimura before a fight and then won with it the next day?
I think we have to hope that the Ngannou that we saw come for the Stipe rematch is the same Ngannou we will see in other fights after. For Stipe you can tell he really improved but he showed a great level of discipline and patience compared to his previous fights. If we get the same Ngannou it makes Ngannou vs Gane way more interesting
It doesn’t matter what gane does in this fight if Francis lands clean every human beeing on this planet goes to sleep. The only way you can counter it is to take him down and tire him out or knock Francis out but I don‘t know if gane has the power to do that.
@@ToXic-ql7hg that’s what I have always been saying. Ngannou’s speed and accuracy is very good. He counters his opponents shots very well. A jab from a normal fighter might not be much but a jab from him means massive damage. No one can risk a punch from him. Ngannou can simply wait for his opponents to make a move then counter accordingly. Now his wrestling skills is good means ground game is a no go because his strength and weight also gives a big advantage when grappling. Gane can’t risk anything from Ngannou while Ngannou can just wait for Gane to make a mistake.

He needs to add a little bit more for wrestling and for clinching or defending shots. It’s so much easier to damage and overpower a 230lbs guy than a 250lbs guy. The extra 20lbs at that size makes a huge difference.
Curtis Blaydes was 263lbs when Ngannou KO’d him in the 1st round. Rosenstruik was 264lbs when Ngannou put him to sleep in less than a minute. Doesn’t matter how much you weigh. If Ngannou lands flush, you go to sleep.

@@BlackMamba-lt8oe You sound like an idiot in a fight anything can change in the very last second. Not giving a fighter a rematch because they go Ko'ed is stupid. The UFC chose Gane because everyone is jumping on his hype train. He is good and a very tough fight for Francis though.
Stipe got brutally KO'd, he needs recovery time. And no he doesn't deserve an immediate rematch, he got dominated in this fight and his accolades as champion were chased in and spent against DC. He's fought Ngannou and DC in 5 fights in a row since 2018! There's no need to make it a 6th one. From scrolling through the comments, most fans arent giving francis his due. But here are the top excuses
1. He came in too light...even though he was 28lbs over the heavyweight min
2. Stipe made one mistake...no he made a few. Everytime francis landed, stipe made a mistake
3. Stipe wasnt himself...stipe said before the fight, that was the best he ever felt and he finally knew how to train
4. Ngannou is juicing...well he has passed every test.
5. Stipe is just out of his prime. This is true but jezus, put up a fight. Even dc out of his prime knocked stipe out.

You gotta be quick with Francis Ngannou once his opponent goes down, he has so much power he could kill people with those follow up shots.
Francis practiced that move with Teddy Atlas. I dont know where that came from but it was surreal to see Teddy telling him and then having it translate in an actual fight.
Francis straight up murdered Stipe. Stipe really expected him to do the same shit as last time.

Big moment for Ngannou 🏆🔥
The way stipe fell back on his foot
When you see such a great fighter get so clearly outmatched by a new guy with that much potential..it’s hard to not be excited about the future of the heavyweight division.
Francis has a wicked left hand...Whew! Fast for a heavy weight, Power with them leg kicks, So massive, thick and strong..He is a scary for anyone!
He always do the follow up even he knows the guy is knocked out
2:52 he was probably asking them ''what hit me in the face? was it a bus? a train? mybe an airplaine?..''
Ciryl Gane has to fight the most perfect fight of his entire life against Francis. ONE mistake and it's over. OVER.
@@benc8167 Ngannou doesn't need a perfect fight, he just needs one clean shot.
@@benc8167 One hook to the jaw and Gane will sleep for months. He's the one that needs the perfect fight over Francis. You folks speak like Ngannou is some bum who doesn't have the potential to drop the best Heavyweights on the planet. As a matter of fact he's already doing it.
Francis is incredible fast and unpredictable .
This guy gonna hold this belt for a very very long time.... true brother from another mother 👏 👏👏👏
He could be the first long reigning heavyweight champ
If he can beat gane
Stipe's head reacted like a magnet, pulling towards Ngannou's left hook.
Those check hooks seemingly couldn't miss.
Francis is a beast, that power makes him very dangerous
^*then, not them
Hope he doesnt take over his weakchin
@@ToXic-ql7hg that’s what I have always been saying. Ngannou’s speed and accuracy is very good. He counters his opponents shots very well. A jab from a normal fighter might not be much but a jab from him means massive damage. No one can risk a punch from him. Ngannou can simply wait for his opponents to make a move then counter accordingly. Now his wrestling skills is good means ground game is a no go because his strength and weight also gives a big advantage when grappling. Gane can’t risk anything from Ngannou while Ngannou can just wait for Gane to make a mistake.

*Stipe was 227lbs on fight night.* He was way too small, which he needed to be against DC, but not against Francis, and NOT in the small cage. Gane needs to be around 252-255lbs. He needs to add a little bit more for wrestling and for clinching or defending shots. It’s so much easier to damage and overpower a 230lbs guy than a 250lbs guy.
