I attended the American Institute of Music in Vienna 1990/91. Nice to see Les alive and healthy. I was in Rock Class, so my Teacher was Paul Hanson. I remember the Workshop with Frank Gambale well. A lot of good Memories....

Great video!!! I was in the class that graduated in March or 79. That's the class with Jennifer Batten and Jamie Findlay (and many more greats) that Les mentions early on. Les started full time during the end of my time there. Such a cool guy, wonderful instructor and great player! Just saw him recently at a party for Daniel Gilbert at MI (another grad of that same class). Although I was from California, I ended up in Seattle for many decades and got to sponsor some seminars with Don Mock at a music store I managed. Such a cool guy and amazing player. Ended up living a few blocks from Roger E Hutchinson too, another great person. I feel very lucky to have experienced all of this and treasure my friendships that I made there. Call me lucky!

Les was a huge influence on me and led me to teaching and writing my book, "Guitar Made Simpler- An Intelligent Approach." Always great to hear his wisdom and stories. Thanks again, Les!

So nice watching Les Wise here. I was in GIT 1983/84. Great interview. Just one thing, I believe Pat Martino was there 1979/80. In 1983/84 he had already left GIT.
