@@Onegreentruck thank you! Yes, lots of jealousy from other people out here and in the UK. Very sad to troll a nice young family who are trying to improve their life isn't it? Thanks for your support - it means the world 💕
Everything looks really good. You are making excellent progress. You were smart to live in the house before renovating the whole thing. This way you learn how you use each room and can create the spaces your family will be happy with. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. Best wishes from Canada.
Thanks Diane! We can't wait to get into the other side of the house when the weather warms up to build our kitchen and dining area. This summer will be so fantastic. Thanks for supporting us 💕🙏✨
Good job guys. I've been living in Bulgaria since 2010 in a small village. Practicing organic gardening and permaculture. Im near to plovdiv.i have two boys who have a lot of freedom.amazing country. Good luck and you're very welcome here. Kind regards Justin
Congratulations on your new home lovely people. You are very courageous and hardworking couple. I am sure you will turn this place into a great home. And the garden is a very good size so you can grow a lot of vegetables and fruits. Try growing some grapes and planting some fig trees. Good luck.
How lovely to see your progress ;) I am so happy to find a channel like yours who shows the reality rather than beautiful and made up scenes. It is very rare and you brought such a fresh air to it. People think that they have to pretend , and shows only the amazing places, but what you are showing its natural and inspiring in the same time ;) One day everything will be finished , but you will remember your hard work and your effort ;) Lots of love xxx
Lol we had an escape artist too, little devil would case the boundary for weak spots, and as soon as we went inside or got occupied and not watching she would make her escape. We had a German Shepherd who could easily jump the fence though and never tried escaping ever. You're making a house into a home, it's coming along really nicely. The good weather is no doubt helping.
She's a nightmare thought it does make me laugh. Ivy is so much chunkier that you can see where she has escaped because there is a large tunnel 🤣 I think we need to build some proper kennels!
Beautiful and caring mother and modern father and so beautiful kids, they are growing slowly. Your house is becoming more and more beautiful because you are investing lots of love and details. Spring will soon be here and will be easier for you. This is your house and land and NO one will take it from you. Uff, house work almost never ends and can be a pain in the ar*se. Bulgaria is lush because it also has so much rain and sunshine. We used to have very cold winters especially when I went to the uni in the early 2000s, in the past, but guess the climate is changing everywhere. Your house is very nice, maybe one day you can afford and open an additional Airbnb with this Balkan, Mediterranean, English, medival style. I mean it was 17ºC I think in Burgas this weekend.

@@the_phoenixproject When you will learn Bulgarian, you will also understand maybe 60% written Russian but not that spoken, 95% Macedonian and maybe 50% Serbo-Croatian. Forget about Polish and Czech because they are quite different but there are still Slavic words in common. Do not complain, we are the only Slavic language (with Macedonian) that dropped the cases and so phonetic so it is a blessing for a foreigner but you all get "scared" to see Cyrillic everywhere. Once you learn the alphabet will quite easy to read and understand. Our grammar is not that complicated like Russian or Polish, but the verbs can be a pain in the ar+se. We have borrowed German, French, Italian and obviously old Ottoman words. Many words can also be like in English but with a twist e.g. constitution - конституция, repetition - репетиция, hotel - хотел, post office - поща like in French, etc, etc. You see? Which part of the country you are in? Looks like a mountain.
The double windows in the living room are really cool. Is that traditionally for insulation?
I guess so! I'm not sure! It's a great place for growing plants at the moment! 😆💖
what about security? can you keep a fire arm? is it allowed if you are on TRP.
You can but you need to acquire a license.

I would strongly advise you store your supply of wood inside your boundary......
Why? We live in a very remote area. If anyone comes down here the wood will be the last thing they will try to steal. The wood is fine outside.
