"Simple Tip to Make Your Logos More Valuable" within 1:12 minutes? that's brilliant. I love these kinds of short vlogs/video tips that action-oriented solution that focused on a specific problem, in another word which makes perfect sense to everybody. good job @Chris
this is so true. i lost a client because i didnt realize to make it a mockup, and when i saw the clients new logo from another designer it was terrible, but their presentation was very pro
I've always been thinking about doing this for my portfolio but never had the confidence. But because I need to fry bigger fish this is the next step I need to take. Clients wants to see what their products will look like in the real world and this is how to convince newer bigger clients that you are able to provide that desire for them and thus increasing your chances of getting that contract. Thank you so much for this video I really feel confident now! Plus* what do I have to lose in the end anyway.
It wasn't until your interview with your friend from Farm Design, that I truly appreciated great mockups. Many mockups are starting to look stock, but understanding his "design artefacts" statement made sense in context with his mockups. More of these bitesized videos please.
When I first started! I told my first client I'm proficient in Adobe Photoshop! Only used it during high school design class back in the day. I had to get better quickly.
Is there any reason the 't' in the 'thefutur' logo is cut off in the logo itself but not in the outro card where it says 'thefutur.com' ? Was it just to preserve the readability of futura?
I didn’t watch the video so I know I shouldn’t comment but the logo in the thumbnail is so basic, I can imagine just drawing that design one day in a few minutes, saving it for a good occasion, and then charge some crazy amount of money for it in the future lol
I know that the most famous logos are incredibly basic, but that doesn’t make it any less funny to a person who can see exactly why and how these designs were made. I think it’s great any kind of artist is making money for their work. It’s just a little frustrating how easy logo design seems sometimes compared to say illustration.

It is basic thing for those of us who was lucky to get some experience in agencies. Sometimes I forget how valuable experence is
big agency tricks shared with everyone
Fake it till you make it.
When I first started! I told my first client I'm proficient in Adobe Photoshop! Only used it during high school design class back in the day. I had to get better quickly.
Like Trump - but he’s still faking it
Shreyas Misra That still makes me a little sad. But it is part of the game.

That's something you only realise with experience
Quick, Simple, Practical! Love it!

Mr. designer. Tks a lot for your tip. Do you recomend some free mockups website to do that? Regards
Great, thank you!
Heck yeah! Thanks for sharing this tip power team futur 🚀
The bigger point is that a logo doesn’t have any meaning without context.
context helps. FedEx logo and Amazon logo have meaning. but context helps.

Those soundtracks are literally Chris Do's vibes! Haha!
Please cover one topic on copyright and copyright design. How far can we manipulate some copyright design to avoid such issues
already have. search for the episode w/ Stuart Carrol.
this is actually more useful than those 20 minutes video of eating sushi, thanks
Please any suggestion where I could download good mockups?
Yellowimages.com
YellowImages.com looks like it was designed by Blind. Very consistent approach to layout. Love it
Do the ppl that dislike these videos ever comment? I don't understand how you can dislike such a neutral video.
We just ignore them.
Haha love that sticker on the laptop 😂😂😂
what the f
I am creating the same method right now. ^_^
Why my logo get pixelated and not smooth when I exported it. My settings are cmyk, png, dpi 300. TIA
Check your export settings.
man even looser designers use mockups! it's not a big idea!..
but thank you for your efforts, I watch your channel a lot.
I thought this was a given thing. I've done this since I was at design school
Not everyone does.
true
Step one: Get Emily on as a credited collaborator.
how do you do that?
Tell her you have a big budget for the project.
Where's the coffee mug?
being washed.
"Why are you charging me huge amounts of money if the logo is really simple? you're nuts!!!" #sigh.
this helps negate that kind of client talk.

Do you think basic logos are not valuable? Look at the most valuable brands and see if this true.
@thefutur You can say that again. It's all about the value to who you're making it for. A logo's value should never be under estimated by a designer

if making a great logo design were so easy, there would be more beautiful logos in the world right?
i think you are equating time and value, and there is no relationship.
hey it yaa booyyy me
