Wrote a review on Trip Advisor in 2011 saying I couldn’t believe shower curtains were still present in rental properties. It’s 2022 and they’re STILL in them! Unbelievable.
You’d have to pay ME to stay somewhere with one.
C’mon Cyprus, for crying out loud, it’s not the 80’s and 90’s anymore!

Absolutely agree! Especially if they modernised everything else. I think for this particular property, the shower area was very small and they probably could not find a ready made one to fit. I will pass on the feedback to the landlord and maybe they can install a custom made one :)

It’s been a recurring theme here in Cyprus. I left the U.K. last Summer, spent three months in Greece. They’ve really got their act together. Beautiful, light, airy, modern, neutral decor using natural materials and earthy colours. Stayed in a dozen places all refurbished, renovated and updated.
Cyprus, which is a much richer country. Higher GDP etc. Shocking! Countless properties very dated. Even some avocado bathrooms still present. Terrible! And the worst thing, you have to pay €1,000 p/month just to get something modern, which is no way luxurious!
