Every Godzilla Kaiju Ranked Weakest to Strongest (Part 1)

- This was quite a journey, this is part 1 of a multi hour long video ranking every Godzilla Kaiju from weakest to strongest under a set of criteria and rules. The criteria are listed in the video but will be listed here as well:
Rules:
1. All Godzillas will be assumed to be equal. This is so that the ranking is not a disguised Godzilla ranking. If we ranked kaiju scaled to their respective Godzillas, then the list would just be 'showa kaiju' then 'heisei kaiju' and so on in excess without any time taken to discuss the individual Kaiju and what they accomplish in the films.
2. We are also assuming Heisei Burning Godzilla, Monsterverse Burning Godzilla and Keizer empowered Godzilla are equal for the same reason.
3. Different forms of Kaiju with substantial power gaps will be listed separate (Such as Flying and Perfect forms of Hedorah and Destoroyah)
4. Different incarnations of Kaiju are separate for this list
5. Purely based on the films, no TV shows, video games, or comics.
Qualifications:
1. Has to be a Kaiju that has appeared in a Godzilla film
2. Kaiju has to have fought another Kaiju at least once
3. No Godzilla
4. No Anime Ghidorah

I personally believe Destoroyahs early forms and Godzilla Junior should be placed quite a bit higher
The way he's ranking everything is throwing me off some. Any form of destroyah in my head is at least middle if the list, but that's taking into account how strong Burning Godzilla is.

So, when you said being knocked down in a fight means nothing, I feel there is a tactical advantage to fighting a foe who has been knocked prone, which opens them up for more attacks.
I personally think that Zilla should be higher that what he is. Now I know that Zilla by far is not the strongest but considering that he’s canonically the same species as the 98 Godzilla he had atomic breath just like the actual Godzilla. And it’s canonically fact the Zilla is a lot faster than the OG Godzilla. Zilla is extremely fast when it comes to running, jumping, dodging, attack, moving and just moving in general. And again he’s not the strongest but I feel as though he should be a little bit higher.

I am surprised that nobody has corrected you so far. The monster who has green atomic breath and who is from the animated cartoons is Zilla Junior, not Zilla. Godzilla 1998 and Zilla are basically the same thing...Zilla is the parent of Zilla Junior...and Zilla is the one who was killed by mere missiles and who does not have atomic breath. Also, Zilla Junior is said to weigh hundreds of times more than his dad Zilla, even though both look near identical in looks. Zilla Junior has fought and defeated many monsters, and he really is like a king of monsters. His dad Zilla (aka Godzilla 1998), on the other hand, is a cool monster in his own right...but Zilla is a weakling and is one of the weakest kaijus in the whole Godzilla franchise. Zilla is fast, and can apparently run at hundreds of miles per hour, but his durability is very weak and he has no atomic breath. Zilla is cunning and it can burrow...like Zilla Junior...but Zilla's power and durability are both low.
@Luke-qq8gk That is false. Zilla from Final Wars is the same as the Godzilla from 1998. Well, I think so. Wikipedia seems to say this.

Very late, but it's when I found this video. Fun fact: GMK was supposed to have Anguirus and Varan join Baragon in the movie, though to the last 2 movies not preforming as well they replaced the two with Mothra and King Ghidorah. Anguirus would be ice attributed and Varan would be lightning attributed. At least in a nod to Varan the King Ghidorah heads in GMK were designed to resemble Varan's head.
I think the heisei Mothra larva should be given a bit of credit, it literally just hatched and still managed to hurt godzilla (I know mothra keeps her memories when her egg hatches but still) also where tf was this video, it was gone for so long

Your going have to do this again since there’s now new kaiju from gvk and new kaijus coming for the Toho godzilla film next year and new kaijus coming for the gvk sequel too
You assume all Godzillas have the same power. There are major problems with this style of argumentation. Firstly things like the guidebooks clearly show how much more powerful certain Godzillas are than others (it shows that the highest temperature for the Showa Godzilla's atomic breath is 100,000 Degrees Celsius and the Heisei Godzilla's is 500,000 Degrees Celsius) but by this logic if we applied it to Superman, that would mean DCAU Superman is as strong as post crisis Superman when there is clear evidence to suggest otherwise.
Exactly no offensive this video show per laziness putting the effort of trying to power scale godzilla but just all assuming all Godzilla are equal? Really that just insulting and disrespectful to Godzilla, because Godzilla in the earlier Showa Godzilla series the atomic breath was more a vapor while Heisei Godzilla and Fw Godzilla was a more like a blast showing more destructive capability than others ones. So saying King Kong is stronger than Fw Gigan is just fucking ridiculous
@@Daichi-pz8oc did you listen to his reasoning in why he said all godzillas are equal? He obviously knows not, and only did so because it makes scaling kaiju easier, if he based it off of how easily it got taken down by a powerful Godzilla, it would be low even if it was a strong kaiju, like nemesis said, it would just be a Godzilla ranking with extra kaiju.
@@Daichi-pz8oc I will say, I disagree with some of the lists placement, no way Zilla is stronger than Godzilla jr, and Kong would be slapped by fw gigan (a giant ape vrs a cyborg with chainsaw arms and many weapons)
I know that legendary make movies darker to hide cgi mistakes, but I didn’t expect that you could barley see anything.
Because of the way things have to be ranked in order for this to work some monsters will be ranked much lower or higher than they probably should be such as Godzilla junior and the other destroyah forms being ranked on a similar level to kamacuras. These are just some casualties of the way the list has to be made for the list to not be a list where whichever monsters fought the stronger godzilla is automatically higher. If the list wasn’t like this final wars kamacuras would probably be higher ranked than mechagodzilla or gidorah because of how power scaling works

Larger doesn't mean shit, buddy. Mothra larvae can wrap up that weak ass Zilla in silk and call it a day...Zilla will suffocate and die in silk. Zilla's weight isn't that much, and Mothra's larvae have dealt with a Godzilla that weighs in hundreds of thousands of tonnes. Zilla is big, but size doesn't always ensure victory. Zilla's speed and attacks will do nothing...the Mothra larvae can tank all those Zilla attacks.
Do a list where it includes ALL Godzilla Kaiju, none of this “rule” nonsense

@@Megalonfan115 uh no? base heisei solos thermonuclear. heisei has over 10 times the durability as legendary g. the pulse would only burn him a bit but not to much to stop him. heisei would throw him across a continent if he could, which he can. heisei lifted a 80 trillion pound island, legendary cant even throw mg21, only shove, heisei on the other hand would yeet mechagodzilla. heisei dodges faster, he dodged space godzillas beams which legendary would fail to dodge.
@@goji_ink6842 I'm a big Heisei fan too but I have to admit that legendary is a lot more agile than him and while Heisei is more durable, he's not 10x, more like 1.6x. Also Heisei could not throw Legndary an entire continent. Do you actually know how big even the smallest continent is?
