It's not a detailed list, but here is how most diy wheels are made : Arduino Leonardo or stm32, Bts7960b, Rotary encoder, MY1016 or My1020 or My1025, 12v power supply (50A depends on motor ), Some cooling fan for the motor and bts, Pedals with potentiometer and load cell for brake, If you are using arduino go with EMC utility pro, if you are using stm32 go with mmos
@@kostinho790 it depends of the kind of project - force you would like to have. If you spend around 150-200 euros you will get results like wheels of 800+ euros. Hi, i have a question about projects like that (using Arduino), when you put a value to the "degrees of rotation" config in the software, the motor acts like a brake to stop the wheel to these value? Or (for example) you need a gear mechanism to stop on 900° of rotation of the wheel?
Hey great work,!!! can you please share the connection diagram of all the components, such as the connection between the stm32 board and bts7960 motor driver. It would really help me build my steering wheel. Thanks in advance.
Hi mate great job first of all and i just have a questiın for you. Can you tell me motor specifications?(example rpm, is it includes encoder or not or anything else) would be glad if you reply, thanks.
It is STM32F407VET. You can use other version like F407 Discovery or VGT. Firmware is MMOS FFB. There are some Vietnamese guys making new firmware for this board. GG VNM Simulation. discord.gg/muWaraP46Q
Hey. my motor control does not work. I connect everything according to the scheme. tried 2 different drivers. motors also took different power. he sees the encoder speed, but there is no reverse force.

why not direct ? can u tell me plz i want to build one but i see many people are not building direct but with belt system, anything u can teach me why u use belt and not direct ?
@GABRIEL BEZERRA thanks for info small motors looks very good for belt, bigger motors are easy to use some direct drive, but the medium motor witch u say they have short shaft, they can make it longer.. ok thanks again im going to test direct first cause my motor is medium but strong with 350w 30.000r/min this is strong enough.

Amazing design.

Yes, endstops are handled in software.

I want to put my seat on cylinders, can you explain or answer me with a link helping me to understand the software pls. Thx ^^
dude can you share the detailed process..i really like to try build it myself even tho i know nothing how to do it lol..haha..but willing to try it
nunggu detailnya nih om, semoga berkenan dibuatkan videonya hehe

you use v-belt sterring wheel don't lose position when you use the wheel ?
Encoder should be connected to the wheel instead of the motor, so no.
man this build works in simcades?, like fh4 or the crew?
Would you say v-belts and pulleys are enough for the FFB? Do they slip at high resistance from the motor?
No, thry can hadle my FFB. If tou want better, use XL pulley
When will the detailed documentation and building of this wheel be released? Any updates?
what power supply did you use? Specs. Thanks!
