Three months after my mom died I went to a doctor thinking I was having a heart attack…tightness in the chest, couldn’t catch a deep breath…unless you’ve experienced it you don’t realize how physically challenging grief is. Time is a healer, it’s true, but life is never the same🌿

Coming to grips with losing one's lifelong spouse has got to be like the equivalent of having half your mind taken from you. You are physically still as intact as you were before, but grief robs you of the ability to think as well as you once did. The person who you counted on to keep half (or more) of the vital information in your lives has gone and taken it with them, along with their love, support, and comfort. 😔
