An Electrician must understand Electrical Wiring basics such as the Wire Size, Earthing, Electricity Circuits especially for House Wiring, How To Check Earthing, How a Switch Works, from the Electricity Meter all the way to the Consumer Unit. He must understand the difference between Ground and Earthing.
Safety comes first when we talk about your electrical installation. An earthing system can guarantee you and your loved ones a safe haven.
Electrical equipment should be free from charges that can cause damage to them or serious injury to the user.
Ground that has high moisture retention is a good area to have an earth rod.
Ground that is hard and even rocky can cause high resistance to electrical conductivity.

It is wrong to use a pair of pliers to tighten a bolt, the correct tool is a spanner. How do you know the earthing is effective? You need an earth resistance tester, you don't just driver a copper rod to the ground and walk away. Good effort though, be a good teacher.

Hello Roy, great question. You need an earth rod and the cable. For places with rocks or dry earth, the resistance will be too high and the best thing to do is incorporate more materials like charcoal, sand and salt.
