I just made this it is so good, my 5 yr old is even eating it with zero complaints!
Did I miss the time he cooked it? 🤔
It's shown in the last two seconds of the vid. Fresh - 15 min; frozen - 30 min. High pressure.
@@drclownshoes-f7p thank u
No jackass
These are the best I add to my recipe some BBQ sauce with my cheese and a little hickory smoke. cooked them for the same time and they were awesome on game day. My family thought I slaved in the kitchen cooking them since we had a lot of other stuff that does take a long time to make. Thanks for the recipe. Have you tried making chicken alfredo in the instant pot it is the best.
Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔 I invite you to check out my kitchen tips Channel, ruclips.net/user/KitchenTipsOnline

Thanks for the kind words and feedback. I appreciate it, Mike 🧔
An insanely easy idea for a quick and easy meal that won't tie me to the kitchen when I have other things to do. Can't wait to try it. I also passed this on to my adult kids!

Had these for dinner tonight. Hands down, the BEST burger I've ever eaten! Husband said so, too.
Great Brenda, thanks for getting back to me, Mike ♥
Tried burgers by your method wrapped in foil and another method I found online. Honestly yours brought out more tender, very flavorful burgers. I would use your method hands down...anytime. My only problem is that even with scissors and care, I still made a mess with the juices but that is not something you or the instant pot can fix...will wrap with more attention next time. Thank you.
Wow that is High Praise thank you! Keep in mind that when we take the burgers out of the pressure cooker, we put them on a separate dish and then open the aluminum foil. Then we simply throw away the foil.
Thanks but a mention of cook times for fresh and frozen wod have been helpful.
Actually that information is available in the video. The exact recipe including cooking times fresh and frozen is available at 4:30 Mike 🧓
I'm trying to stay away from beef but I'll have to try this in my Avador!!
I do it all the time made one for my mom she said the juiciest burger she ever had she loved it
Can’t wait to give this a try ! Just got an instant pot for Easter. Also got my burger press from amazon ... cheese and spices ready to go ! Thanks for the video !
Thanks I appreciate the feedback, Mike 🙂
Get My Tips tried it and loved it.... juicy and delicious 😋.... legit amazing turn out ! Thanks for the video 👍
Cheesy all the way through isn’t how I want my burgers described. Lol.
This is a great video and so enjoyable to watch. Love your kitchen too! I love to cook so would finish the hamburger with BBQ sauce and finish on the BBQ or broil in oven until BBQ sauce caramelises. Nom Nom Yum.

I've got my venison burgers in the IP right now ... saw this and had to try it. I have done frozen just piled in there, but I can see where this method would be so much better :)
Cool beans, let us know how yours turn out. ☺
They were great! A little dry maybe, but I think that was because we were using venison. I'm going to do it again soon with regular ground beef. I do put some more seasonings ... steak seasoning, and even some ranch. I'm so glad that I found this video, and I plan to check out more of your videos :)
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the recipe
Most welcome 😊
Awesome video
Thanks
I never saw how long to cook frozen on high pressure
Ok, so what settings do i use to cook it? What temp, what setting, how long... Did i miss something? Im fairly new to the instapot thing. If anybody has any suggestions, that would be awesome.
My guess is you bailed out early because everything in you need is on the screen. Here is the link to that part of the video, Mike ruclips.net/video/uNlRgA4igeg/видео.html
Can it do two at once? If so, are they wrapped seperatly or toghether?
Jeff, Yes actually I have done as many as three, although they were all wrapped separately. They must be wrapped separately to ensure they are thoroughly cooked. Remember the heat has to migrate through the aluminum foil and then in to the meat. If two were stacked on top of each other, then the middle of both burgers would most likely not be cooked.
i dont see the times. could you enlighten me, pls. i went to web site, too.
Karan Odom , The cooking times along with the recipe ingredients are displayed on the screen near the end of the video. Cooking time for fresh hamburger is 15 minutes and cooking time for frozen hamburger is 30 minutes.
If I wanted to Cooke say like 5 burgers would it be all indivually wrapped? 15 min still the same for fresh at that many burgers? What about the 1 cup water as well?
Lena, if you want to cook 5 Burgers all at the same time, you should extend the cooking time for another 5 minutes or so. Remember these Burgers will be immersed in their own juices, so it's not likely they will overcook. When using a pressure cooker, it's always better to slightly overcook then to undercook because of all the time needed if you have to put them back in to add more time. I personally would cook them individually wrapped in foil. If you decide not to wrap them individually in foil, please let us know how they turn out.
Get My Tips thanks and I will definitely let you know.. but I believe that I will individually wrap them so that like you said it cooks in your own juices .
So I made the burgers today. I made a total of 8 burgers but cooked only 4 at 20 min (Each individually wrapped). The hamburger was a little firm for my taste but otherwise the burger was delicious. Next time I will try just a 15 min cook time and just see how that goes.
I like to hear that word delicious! 😋 Thank you very much for coming back and leaving a comment about how they turned out. ♥ We love the feedback.

that looks like a yummy burger!!!!!!!!!
Thanks it is.
What are the settings for manual, high low?
Thanks I'm a new subcriber it looks delicious. I'll be trying these soon.
Welcome aboard ♥ Let us know how your burgers turn out.
How long do you cook it was never said
DRY ONIONS!?!?!? WHAT MADNESS DROVE ME HERE
Hey don't knock it till you try it. Dried onions are great for people who don't use a lot of onions. I hate to buy onions and wind up throwing half of them away. Obviously fresh onions would always be best, but in a pinch, dried onions work for me, Mike 🧓
I suppose one could give it a quick sear after taking it out of the instant pot to get a little caramelization.
vasmikey, yeah I suppose you could do that but by the time you get all of your condiments, onions lettuce and tomato Etc, you probably wouldn't notice the difference. Try it and then come back and let us know what you think. Thanks, Mike
Genius!!!

How many degrees is it
I do something similar but, I use two bratwurst sausages (casings removed) to form a patty without the cheese. After steaming the patties, I pan-sear them to give them a bit of Maillard crust and present them on a kaiser roll. I do have one question. I only make one burger at a time since I usually only cook for myself. If I steam enough burgers for a small number of guests, could I steam all the burgers at one time for the 15-minute time? Thank you.
You are using the word steam for cooking but you're not actually steaming the burgers because you are cooking them in aluminum foil. The good news is you can cook as many burgers as you can fit flat as long as you don't stack them on top of each other. Because they are wrapped up in the aluminum foil, stacking them on top of each other may cause the burgers not to cook completely, Mike ☺
I’m not seeing anything about pressure cooker settings or length of time. As a beginner with pressure cooking that would be extremely helpful.
It's at the very end, the arm to the left writing instructions.. 15mins for fresh burgers and 30 mins for frozen ones..
Everything is displayed on the screen near the end of the video.
Thank you!
Kevin Smith, you are welcome. Mike ☺
Im luvin it
Thanks! When you make your first batch of burgers come on back and let us know how yours turn out.
Yes Sir!

Is that Bob Wiley eating that burger?
Mmmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm!! Mmmmm, mmmmm.........Faye, is this burger hand patted??
how long do i cook it
I am curious, I like my burgers topped with Worcestershire sauce, and or liquid smoke for some added kick when I grill or cook on stove top. Do you think adding either of these things inside the foil would hinder the overall outcome?
Brilliantt86, Nope you can add liquid smoke or Worcester sauce, and you will not need to increase cooking time. Mike ☺
Publix man... Best grocery store in the world.
Oh yeah you must be from Florida! I love Publix but it is more expensive than other grocery stores. For the record, I have not been in Publix for the last few months because of the Coronavirus. I have been using the Walmart grocery pickup option. It works like a champ and I love it, Mike
Question: can you put more than one patty at a time and how many at a time can I?
I have done that many times. I wrap them separately because it's easier to position them to make sure they will cook properly. Mike
You deserve more subs
Ok so if I am doing say a frozen turkey burger what temp and how long would I cook it in my new instant pot . I am new to it all so Idk
It's not practical to cook that many turkey burgers in an instant pot. I recommend you use an alternative method, Mike
You can make several at once.
I love your kitchen! Great tips too!
Thanks for the kind words. ♥ Maybe you want to checkout my other channel. Here is the link: ruclips.net/user/kitchentipsonline
Can you cook more than one at a time?
Yes you can, just wrap them separately. Mike
If mixing ground bacon with ground beef, would it be recommended that the cooking time extend?
Jamison Dorsett, Sorry for the delay in responding I was traveling. If you want to mix ground up pork in with your burger, which sounds pretty good by the way, I would increase the cooking time and I would use a temperature probe to verify that the burger was 160 degrees when finished. Mike ☺
Get My Tips thanks so very much! Its delicious for sure, my start out combo is a pound of beef and a pound of bacon grinded up, or even food processed...chicken and bacon is also a good combo! thanks for the reply, glad to see you were able to travel safely!
everything except how much time to use on the manual setting.
Everything including the time, is displayed on the screen near the end of the video, 🧔
The most important information is time and temperature. What is the time and temperature?
I don't know how anyone could check the internal temperature of a pressure cooker. With respect to time, that information it's displayed on your screen in the video near the end as promised, Mike 🧔
Didn't see any mention of setting or time....playin' it again...
Adam, it's there, if you watch the whole video you will see the timing.
I too do not see a cooking time
Neither have I heard how long it takes in the pressure cooker. You right ..
you never mention how much time to set it for
sorry time was at the end
😊 I invite you to check out my video on how to season a steak so that it tastes EXACTLY Like Longhorn or Outback Steakhouse. Here is the link, Mike 🧔 ruclips.net/video/EEfjYD0GEDI/видео.html
How many burgers can I make at a time? If more, Do I add more water and more time?
If you stack the burgers on top of each other whether they're in separate foil or not, they are not going to cook very well. In order to get all of them all cook, you will have to overcook some. That's going to leave you with an undesirable Burger. I have cooked as many as 3 at a time. If you only cook 3, you don't need to increase the time. Mike 🧓
Bro ate the burger upside down
Can multiole burgers be cooked at the same time?
Yes you can cook multiple burgers but you should spread them out making sure they come in contact with the aluminum foil so that they are fully cooked and above 160 degrees. Mike 🙂
but you did not say how many mims to set the pressure cooker for to cook the burger
It's at the very end of video writing on blackboard
Can you do 2 burgers at once?
Yep you sure can, no problem.
In separate pouch or together and how long do you cook them????
so if i accidently left the vent to venting for a few minutes, would that effect it too much?
Well the answer is yes and no. That's because it depends how long you left it open. Because it certainly made noise when it was trying to come up to pressure. So my question is how did they turn out?
They just finished. so i will see how, once i have opened it and eatten them
turn out well
Cool beans thanks for letting us know. I appreciate it, Mike
Since was not grilled probably will taste just like a giant meat ball sandwich lol
You're absolutely right, there's nothing quite like a flame-grilled burger! This pressure cooker method is definitely a great option for those without a grill, or for days when the weather isn't cooperating. And hey, even if it has a bit of a meatball vibe, it can still be a delicious and juicy alternative! Mike🧔 PS, I invite you to check out my primary Kitchen Tips And Tricks RUclips Channel. here is the link: ruclips.net/user/kitchentipsonline
Can you put more than 1 burger in at a time?? And how much time do you set on the pressure cooker?
Yes you can just put them on the rack side by side. The cooking time will be the same. If you use more than 2 and stack them on top of each other, you will have to increase the cooking time by 5 minutes.
Get My Tips I made them 2 at a time - they were awesome! Thanks!
Thanks that's very kind of you to come back and leave feedback. I do have a question though, did you wrap them individually or did you put them both in the same aluminum foil wrap?
Get My Tips individually
Thanks ☺
thx for the great recipes - btw in your other video frozen was stated to cook 20 min and this one 30 min which is it now? and fresh is half the time?
Yes that's true. The timing is strictly related to the thickness of the burgers. The homemade burgers that we made were significantly thicker than the frozen burgers that we got from Sams Club. Thicker burgers take more time fresh or frozen.
oh never mind guy, my bad i see the mins now. sorry.
Am I cooking this on meat/stew, or pressure cook? I’m guessing maybe pressure cook?
Actually it's neither one of those. Select the manual setting and then enter the time.
Get My Tips thank you so much I think on the new Instant Pots the pressure cooker Button replaced the manual. I cooked them for 20 minutes for (3 patties wrapped separately) and they came out great!
Cool beans, thanks for the update. ☺
How dare you hold the burger upside down while eating it! Seriously though, I like this and I'm going to be trying it tonight or tomorrow.
mikefromwa, ha ha, thanks for your feedback. Let us know how your burger turned out, Mike ☺
I wonder if there was a way to cook more than one of these at a time.
+Marvin Luster yes you can do two or three as long as you do not stack them on top of each other.
Get My Tips thanks!
Manual setting for how long? And is that on high? Please tell me the time and setting for frozen and non-frozen. I could not find it anywhere. Thank you.
Ruth Ranieri, all of the information you are requesting is on the screen in the video as promised. My guess is you didn't watch the complete video. Mike ☺
I did go to the end before but just saw the other on the right hand side. I got it now. Thank yo so much I feel stupid I didn’t see it before.
Ruth Ranieri, please don't feel stupid! It goes by pretty fast, thanks for your feedback, Mike ☺
Hi! can I put 4 at same time?
Cristhian Garcia, how did your Burgers turn out? Mike ☺
Everything was perfect thank you so much.
Thank you I appreciate the follow-up. Mike
I like using my air fryer to cook my frozen burgers
Roland Gadue, yeah but what about clean up? Mike
Didn’t see the times ..
eeek not to sure about this one.
I do mines without the foil
Well then they can't have much flavor if there cooked clean with hot water and steam. Is that correct?
I'd use a George Foreman grill for something like this, even just a skillet with a lid. Same amount of mess/effort and a better burger. You don't steam burgers, you sear them!
Squidgy Quijabo , yes I agree, a George Foreman grill or other hamburger grill is a good option. I actually have both. However most of the time when I am craving a burger, I pop it in the pressure cooker. And that's because I don't need to monitor it, and I end up with a very juicy burger and absolutely no clean up.
Watched the video..rewatched it...tried to,find the time...read the section below...went to,your website where I could not find a type in search and tead the comment below where the prrson found the minutes...I however am done wasting my time on something of such primary importance it should be the easiest information to locate. Other than my frustration it is a good video with a very intriguing cooking method for hamburgers.
Your comment and frustration indicates that you did not watch the video to the end. The cooking time for fresh, and frozen hamburgers is displayed on the screen as promised earlier in the video.
The cooking time for a fresh hamburger is 15 minutes and the cooking time for frozen hamburgers is 30 minutes
You need a doobie
brillyintt It is at the very end, last few seconds. The info is displayed on the screen in the upper left corner after he eats and says how good it is.
I do think it could have been mentioned during the demonstration but there maybe a reason for saving that info until the very end.
I'll try this recipe though. It Looks good.
Finally somebody with some common sense that's not angry at the world. Thanks for coming to my defense. Mike
An I do 2 at once?
Varol, yeah, but they might not cook very well. If you stack them on top of each other, 50% of the meat for each burger will be insulated by the other one. If you put them side-by-side it's hard to find the room to fit in the pot. I recommend that you do them one at a time for best results. Mike
Foodi gives a char to the burger if you finalize it on air fry.
why do you bother using the foil
Because if you don't put foil around the burgers or simply boiling them in water. The foil protects the burgers and keeps them juicy with their own juices, Mike
Burgers without searing.. No thanks :-)
Thanks for your comment but keep in mind that the point of the video is to show an alternative method for folks who don't have the time or inclination to cook a hamburger on a grill or stove top. The method we demonstrated makes a delicious juice cheddar cheese burger with virtually no cleanup, and no time wasted monitoring a burger while it's cooking.
All you have to do is sear it at the end in a skillet....it prevents the burgers from drying out ;-) they are evenly cooked internally and juicy. Works like a charm!
The most unseasoned burger ever. Lol 🤦🏾♂️
Are you a chef or just dressed like one ?
