People use underrated to describe just about anything they like at a given moment these days. It’s good, but the other tracks definitely outshine it(and thematically it’s probably the least memorable stage)
Genesis could only have one sound per channel at a time, so any channels playing music in them would be overridden for a small bit. Most noticeable in sonic 3 where every song uses a ton of channels.
I have played around in Marble Garden and imagined it as an actual place in a floating island and what I envisioned was beautiful. A world with tall Marble Pillars, Oil Lakes or whatever those things are supposed to be, at a sunset.
0:01 Ch2, Ch3 0:07 Ch1 takes over 1:06 Ch1, Ch4 2:38 Ch2 and Ch3 does the parallel rythem that Alex Yard mentioned 2:55 Ch0, DAC 4:36 Ch2 and Ch3 does the parallel thing again but with Ch0 and DAC 5:02 Ch1, Ch0, DAC, Ch2, Ch3 6:00 EVERYTHING 6:34 Ch2 and Ch3 does the parallel thing again but with every channel What's your favourite part? Mine: 4:36
Channels 1 and 4 make this song for me. Without them you lose all sense of Marble Garden being a vast and lonely ruin of a long forgotten civilization.
that egregious youtube loading pause is a wonderful addition to a classic theme! (legit, dunno wtf is going on, but the video literally hangs right at 2:39 for me and refuses to load any further)
I like how almost all of these songs have parts in them where one channel is slightly quieter and delayed from the other, and parts where one channel is a different pitch from the other.
I honestly do love some of the echo, it gives a great feeling of being high up in the mountains. ...though this stage is absolutely not my favorite in the slightest, the music makes up for it
For any of you that didn't know why marble garden act 2 has a °i at the end and there's a b5 because the °i chord has the 1 b3 and b5 and the 1 to the b5 or the #4 is called the tytone
Marble Garden's music is one the most underrated Sonic tracks in my opinion. One of my absolute favorites in the game.
Yeah

SO TRUEEEE
100% this deconstruction helped me discover that Act 2 here is one of my favorites on the soundtrack
0:32 that chime is always missing in remixes
Sounds like the same instrument for rings and checkmarks
@@iamrichlol Nah bro, rings use a much different chime. Which is the chime used in Spring Yard Zone in Sonic 1.
@@clonefighter1996 Also in Sonic 2 proto's Death Egg
@@carrot5395 and I think Sonic Mania used it or a similar chime for Lava Reef Act 1
@clonefighter1996 starlight zone too but it is a little different
I always love watching the bass
There's nothing without the bass and echo
4:36 best part
2:56 When the ground is rising up the music sounds exactly like this
One more instrument then it would sound exactly
Genesis could only have one sound per channel at a time, so any channels playing music in them would be overridden for a small bit. Most noticeable in sonic 3 where every song uses a ton of channels.
I completely forgot this channel I'm glad to be back
Yeah the first video i saw it his was the green hill one
I have played around in Marble Garden and imagined it as an actual place in a floating island and what I envisioned was beautiful. A world with tall Marble Pillars, Oil Lakes or whatever those things are supposed to be, at a sunset.
2:55 when you go to a club expect to hear this
1980s crew, break dance battles!
I can't believe they were echoing the main part. That's what gives it that mountain echo feeling
Seems they do that in a lot of the tracks for this game, and they're almost impossible to notice
@@Moss_Dude Funny, considering marble is known for producing echoes.
@@Moss_Duden flying battery act 2 if I'm not wrong, it gets more noticeable each time the music loops, must've been an oversight in the final game
@@AltKaxREALprobably some error in the looping process

2:39 is my favorite part
Channels 1 and 4 make this song for me. Without them you lose all sense of Marble Garden being a vast and lonely ruin of a long forgotten civilization.
Channel 4? dont you mean the DAC?
Channel 0 I meant
3:38
Best part of the bassline imo
I love The echo
Me too
Adds so much depth to the music.
It was made like that because marble is really good at echoing sounds.
I love marble garden as a whole but act 2 is my favorite, I wish this was in mania
I'm surprised this track only uses 6 channels. It feels like it uses a lot more. Loving this series 🕹
3:38 is super smooth
2:39 never heard before!!
that egregious youtube loading pause is a wonderful addition to a classic theme! (legit, dunno wtf is going on, but the video literally hangs right at 2:39 for me and refuses to load any further)
@@AGwolf2097 yeah same here!

Obviously, the bass line (Channel 0) is the hero of this entire song. It's sooooooo gud.
I like how almost all of these songs have parts in them where one channel is slightly quieter and delayed from the other, and parts where one channel is a different pitch from the other.
Channel 1 with the car horn vibes.
I honestly do love some of the echo, it gives a great feeling of being high up in the mountains.
...though this stage is absolutely not my favorite in the slightest, the music makes up for it
Cause this is THRILLER!
THRILLER GARDEN! V2
5:52 EVERYBODY NOW!
are you on all of these videos commenting
2:40 very scary tone
Am I first? Doesn't matter. These vids are always appreciated, especially for remixes!
Yeah and i dont really care if im fifth
I wouldn't care if I had my stomach cut open and eaten by demons.
I watched it 15 seconds after it was released so maybe.
Yay! Thanks carpathia!!
Wait. Do you want to say what this deconstruction don't exist all this time???
Marble Garden has one hell of a funky bassline. I wonder if a Moog synthesizer was sampled
I love this music because of the bass
Please do Star Light Zone or Balloon Park :)
Both have been done.
@@kingsarverjr502 Nice. Not, what's left is Desert Palace, Desert Mine, and Sonic 2's final boss.
Thank you very much. By using your videos I make Sonic remixes.
More oscilloscopes! Hell yeah! One of my fav stages thru the game
For any of you that didn't know why marble garden act 2 has a °i at the end and there's a b5 because the °i chord has the 1 b3 and b5 and the 1 to the b5 or the #4 is called the tytone
Also don't forget about channel 0 and channel 3 go with flow of the °i chord
Niiiiiice
underrated one
Nice
This is the music that plays when the sun comes out after a rainstorm
I wish you can show the actual instruments as they play the notes. But this does help me tremendously.
woah
What about Earthworm Jim OST deconstruction?
3:55 do you think this could be a act 3?
А будет и с sonic mania?
marble garden iz funky, even without MJ.
6:35 - 6:51 not as good as act 1, but still golden in my eyes
please, please do earthbound deconstructions
That coud be awesome
@@randomd2146 indeed
@CreepimusGaming how
nope
Eh I like act 1 better. Always have for some reason. :n
I can hear this without it being isolated. Can anyone else do the same?

2:55 marble garden act 3 remix
More like during the earthquakes
Sonic mania please!!!!
I don't think it's possible since the music is not limited
Like ya know it's not on an old console
I could be wrong tho
@@WilliamWilliamWilliamWill it's not possible bcuz it's pre-recorded audio and not a soundchip
